It's Family Weekend at the school. The room smelled of smoke, the carpets has burn holes in several places, the sink and counter were stained with nicotine, the halls were noisy with sounds emanating from other rooms. Not a very pleasant experience, the staff could not have cared less, a waste of money. We woke up the next morning (having the window opened all night for fresh air, our clothes smelled of smoke, our eyes were watery. NEVER AGAIN.

Location to our office in Richmond & kitchen. No bottled water in vending machine. The hotel is clean, nice and serves my purpose for business travel. It's within close proximity of the highway and our office.

I ALWAYS stay at this location when my family are in Virginia for at least seven days. I have always found the staff to be VERY accomadating when you have any question, need, or problem. The rooms I've stayed in have always been very clean and organized. I love this hotel because it gives the true feel of home. No having to get up at the crack of dawn to go downstairs to get breakfast. No intrution of cleaning service everyday unlesss I request it. They come to clean the room every seven days. For extended stays I think they are the best. The apartment size frig, cookware, dishes, microwave, dish rack, toaster, coffeemaker, and stovetop are a plus too. Cable and televison are standard like most hotels. The only drawback is no media players of any type and TVs that don't have A/V ports.

This was a great experience. Great Staff. The location for us was great. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Easy access to the interstate highways and historical districts in the Richmond area. We liked the fact that we didn't have to go our to eat. Haing a normal size refrigerator was particularly helpful as the reason for our stay was a family reunion and we needed the extra space for food. We also enjoyed the comfort of the room. It wasn't the normal bed and tv place. We could actually be comfortable and excape from the family. Even though this hotel is located in a very busy area, it is a beautiful place with trees all around. Even if you only are staying a day or two, this place is great. Of course it is set up for long term stay, it just doesn't make any difference. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

Customer service. No ice machine, no breakfast, card keys expired daily. Only real irritant was that card keys expire daily - which means even if you're staying in this extended stay hotel for a week, you had to go to the desk each day upon your return and renew your key to get in to your room. And if you forgot and lugged kids and luggage, etc, to your room - you had to walk all the way back to the desk to renew.

Our room was clearly not cleaned, the mgt. didn't make any attempt to make up for an obvious problem, although they were nice about acknowledging it. We are done with Homestead.

The room's kitchen area was awesome! Nothing to dislike. I arrived after hours (the lobby closes at night) but was still able to register with no problems whatsoever. The room was nice. Everything was clean. I thought it was nice and clean. A comfy, cozy room.

It has elevators, kitchenette rooms and the staff gave us the best room for handicap husband. We were visiting Richmond for my husband's visit to McGuire VA Med Center. The hotel was conveniently located not far from there and had sufficient amenities for our short stay. If we come again, we will probably stay there. I have also been mugged and car jacked but here, I felt completely secure. Thanks for a great stay.

Convenient. 1 person at front desk at 5:00PM. Convenient and reasonable. I was on a business trip and brought my family alone. It was good to have the conveniences of home (fridge, microwave, etc). Please provide dish detergent.

Had a kitchenette. Bed was uncomfortable, blanket was scratchy. Okay, but nothing special. Served my purpose of a hot shower and nap when flight was cancelled. Pretty far from airport, though.

Convenient and parking is good. Since they have coffee makers in the room, they need decaf in each room as well as regular. Stay here a lot.

Clean. I am pretty sure that the ac/heat unit was inoperable; however I was too tired to complain. Location was convenient and the room and the hotel were very clean and quiet.

Location. It needs a bar, or something to do. Clean, great location for Midlothian Va. area, you can walk to food chains that are very near buy. You can bring your dog with you to work and stay.
