Date of Stay:

room was not very clean ,food had been left in the microwave

Hotel seemed clean and was well appointed for an extended stay hotel. The hotel was isolated from dining establishments. Was only in the room for a short time though the staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, beds comfortable and each room has a kitchen.

The hotel was clean upon arrival, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check-in, even though there were 3 of us she was trying to assist at once. The room does indeed have a full-sized refrigerator with a working ice-maker, as well as clean, fairly new dishes and silverware. The room is set up nicely, and although it was a studio, it felt a lot larger because of the way it was laid out to have the different living areas. There is not a public computer for use to print out documents if necesary, but the front desk allowed me to email an important document to them and they were happy to print one for me. The only caveat with this particular property is that they do not have the best refund policy. Payment must be received in advance for the entire stay. If it's canceled within 24 hours, they will not refund the first night. If you need to cancel after checking in, there is no refund. Because I didn't know if I needed to stay a 3rd night, the online travel website agent suggested I book the 2 nights I definitely needed and call back for the additional night if necessary. This was a great suggestion, and the hotel staff handled my situation beautifully! They were very friendly and extremely accommodating, in that they were able to check me out of the room, and then immediately check me back in on the new reservation for the extra night. I was able to remain in the same room and had a seamless transition through the 2 separate reservations. I do recommend this hotel highly, especially if you are staying for an extended period of time.

Location. Not clean & not nicely appointed; my non-smoking room smelled like smoke.

This hotel was a great selection. Personnel were friendly, clean and spacious rooms and dishes as well as toaster microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. Oh yes the pool area even has a barbecue grill and exercise rooms on all the floors. My only complaint was that the bathrooms don't have an exhaust fan in them. Foggy mirrors are a little irritating to me. Down the street from restaurants, gas and grocery store. Besides the mirrors I look forward to staying at this or another Homestead in the future.

Overall I was very pleased with the size and setup of the room. These are essentially extended stay suites with a kitchen and small living room with separate bedroom and bathroom. For the price they were an exceptional value. The continental breakfast in the morning was a bit disappointing as they had coffee and some packaged danishes in total. There was a little confusion about whether I should receive or not receive internet service, but they gave me the service for free. I was still required to register as if I would pay however the charges were waived.

The room was large. Overall cleanliness. There was food in the cabinet from the previous room renters. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, as when I moved the sleeper couch, there was food crumbs and nuts or something roll underneath and behind the couch. The vending are was clean at first glance, but as I looked behind the door and behind and under the vending machines, I saw the room was not clean. Also, they were loose in the window and as the wind blew, they shook and rattled. the wind blew all night. The ice maker in the freezer was not working all the first evening, then decided to kick on and mass produce ice the morning we were ready to leave. Overall, I was dissatisfied with this hotel, and my stay.

I booked this room for cheap through online travel website -- and of course was expecting a rat trap, based on the cheap price... However, I was pleasantly surprised at the very friendly staff upon check in, the spacious room (which included a full size kitchen) and wonderful amenities...! You wouldn't get this much anywhere else for the price! If I'm ever in the Cincinnati area again in the future, you better believe I will be looking a another room here!!!!

Location. Needs updating. Location was great, room was small but adequate, nice to have a kitchenette, room needs to be upgraded (carpet bathroom fixtures).

DON'T STAY HERE: I reserved and paid for a "queen" bed, but was given a room with a "full" size bed. I called the clerk and was told the room was listed as a "queen". You can call it a "double king" if you want, but a "full" is not a "queen". I asked for the manager to call me. He never did. I reserved a non-smoking room. The furniture smelled of old smoke. There were a few burn marks. Maybe it was a former smoking room. Table in kitchen was at abnormally short height. Inner shower curtain was filthy. The hallway off of the elevator smelled of rotten food as if there were a restaurant dumpster in the hall. I had a friend come over to verify all of this. They concurred with everything I've stated. Now, I find they billed me for an extra night. I've called twice and not been able to speak with a manager. He has not returned my calls. The first time, the clerk said I had checked out and someone then checked me back in. During the second call, I was told the only way I could be double-billed was for reserving the room with a credit card and then not showing up. That doesn't even make sense for a double billing! You would be a fool to stay here!

We had a suite complete with kitchenette and two queen-size beds for an exceptional price. I was very pleased with the hotel staff.

The hotel advertised both a complimentary weekday breakfast and an evening social hour - They had neither! The appliances in our room needed repair/replaced but we had to wait until the next day for someone to attend to this matter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were dated but adequate, rooms are over due for a facelift. For the price this place wasn't bad, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the location is within minutes to most things. The rooms were way overdue for a face lift but were fine for an over night stay.

Newer, clean, comfortable and quiet. A bit out of the way, layout of the room I was not not particularly good.

The location, the outdoor grill and eating patio. Room was dirty, not maintained even after complaints, horrible continental breakfast. Although the staff was friendly, I was unable to get things fixed in my room. i.e. bathroom light wasn't working, told staff three times and it still wasn't fixed, room was filthy upon check in and still dirty when I had the once a week thorough cleaning. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to family's due to the fact of having to sleep in an uncomfortable hide-away-bed. Also the continental breakfast consisted of bagels and coffee with apples. The bagels were not available everyday (only Mon-Fri) and on one day there wasn't any at all, staff stated they didn't have any as well as that there was no cream cheese for the bagels for several days.

Nice room with comfortable bed and nice kitchenette. Carpet was stained, popcorn behind the couch from previous guest. Nice room with adequate facilities. Full kitchen available. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The carpet could have been cleaner. The closet door had some mechanical problems. I stayed for 4 nights - able to exchange towels at front desk. Only 1 (2 oz) bottle of shampoo and 2 soaps for entire stay.

It was nice. Staff was nice. The satellite for the TV. It was nice.

Everything was wonderful, the room was more than we expected. The ice machine was in a weird place and the continental breakfast left much to be desired. I would highly recommend it, especially for an extended stay as the full kitchen with dishwasher and ice maker were particularly convenient. The bed was comfortable as well as the couch. We didn't get a chance to go to the pool so no comment on that. There wasn't much to the continental breakfast so don't count on that filling you up.
