The Homestead Washington DC - Chantilly is conveniently located six miles from Dulles International Airport, 25 miles from Reagan National Airport, and 50 miles from Baltimore. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room, based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. A Daily Refresh housekeeping service is provided for nightly guests (1-6 nights) and weekly full housekeeping service is provided for extended stay guests (7+ nights). The daily refresh service includes replacing soiled towels, emptying trash, replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed, and making bed with existing linens. The weekly full housekeeping service includes dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom and kitchen (dishes are not washed), and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed. A cleaning fee will be charged per night. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports, one dollar per stay for unlimited local calls, personalized voicemail, and irons and full-size ironing boards.

Very close to the AID Airport; small rooms but quite with washers and dryers on location. Located close to shopping and dining. I would recommend this hotel to a friend for a one or two night stay.

We chose this hotel because it allowed pets and was affordable. On arrival it became apparent why it was so inexpensive. The room was filthy. The carpet looked like it had never been vacuumed with questionable material dried on the carpet. The sheets were also obviously dirty.

This hotel is a little bit away from everything and a bit confusing to locate. Overall the amenities are good and the full kitchen is very convenient. Excellent value for staying near D.C. only about 30 minutes away.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had to pay an extra $5 for internet service. The hotel is conveniently located near Dulles Airport and surrounding business parks. There is no continental breakfast offered, however, there are numerous fast food restaurants within walking distance. My room was comfortable and attractive, however, there was pet hair in the carpet, and the restroom floor was dirty.

This hotel was not very good. It didn't provide a workout facility or dining. The room smelled of smoke and it was a non smoking room. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here and in the future I'll be staying at a different hotel. The room was not very clean and had bed spreads from the 1970's. Sorry for this review but it's my honest feedback.

Kitchen. Smelled smoke in nonsmoking room, no restaurant there. The hotel itself is fine for business travelers or leisure travelers, if you have your own transportation. Not convenient to Washington DC.

The room which was alloted to us was very dirty, dusty & most of things in the room were dirty & dusty. We stay a lot in extended stay america & homestead. We like these hotels, but this one was a different experiance. The room which was alloted to us was very dirty, everything, the pots and other items were dirty, covered in dust and some even rusty. We never had this kind of experiance in other extended stay & homestead.

Inexpensive and adequate for my needs. It's showing the ravages of time. Starting to get a little shabby; could use renovation/repair (e.g., bottom of a kitchen cabinet door fell off). But the facility was adequate and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

When I checked in, the staff gave me a room which was already occupied and a person was sleeping in there. Instead of apologizing, staff kept me waiting for 15-20 mins to get another room while they changed their night shift. I was woke up be the front desk early morning to just tell me that my check out time is 11 AM and I owe some bill for telephone calls. I never made any call from the room. I talked to the general managerwho was not so friendly either. Anyways they never charged me as they found out that the calls were made before I checked into the hotel.

Nothing. All the rooms are broken. The air conditioner is broken, the remote controls are broken. Very bad Hotel. My room was smelling very bad. The remote controls are broken.

The mini equipped kitchen. Did not have GAC or TVL and channels. Even for a studio the room had plenty of room. The mini kitchen had basic utensils, plates, skillet and sauce pan- bring your own food and save $ not eating out. The staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location convenient to major highway. Well worth the money. I highly recommend.

Nothing. The manager was rude. I never was to a hotel like this before. The manager was rude and not friendly at all. I never was treated like this before in my whole life. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

The staff was very friendly. This hotel was very dirty and rundown. The outside looked nice but the rooms were disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very friendly but the house keeping was awful. The rooms were dirty and very ran-down looking. The kitchen looked like it had not had a good clean since the hotel opened. The sheets had stains and the carpet were so bad you didn't want to walk on it (even with shoes).

Outside doors instead of hallways. Curtains didn't close all the way. It was a very safe, quiet area. I was able to park right near the door to my room, which was an outside door, so I didn't have to walk in the entrance, down a hall, etc. There was cheap gas nearby and great restaurants right around the corner.
