This Homestead property is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from downtown Birmingham and 20 minutes from the Birmingham International Airport. The hotel specializes in extended-stay itineraries and thus provides on-site laundry facilities and provides dry cleaning service. Housekeeping service is provided on a twice-weekly basis for guests staying seven nights or more. Guests staying more than four nights (but less than a week) receive the mid-week refresh only. One pet is accepted per guestroom. The general manager has the authority to allow additional pets per room, based on his or her own discretion. Fees and deposits apply. All guestrooms have full kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dining and cooking utensils. Other room amenities include workspaces with computer dataports, one dollar per stay unlimited local phone calls, personalized voicemail, and irons and full-size ironing boards. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

The motel was very plain and average. No frills, but that's what I expected and wanted. The only problem we had was that the roof leaked, and the water came in on our ceiling, and part of the ceiling collapsed.

Quiet location with a room on the side. Dirty carpet in the room. A nice, quiet motel with old worn-out pillows. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Heavy traffic with long delays during rush hour. Fortunately, the motel is not far from the freeway.

Staff. Mold in shower, holes in towels. No coffee or coffee cups. Only 1 large pot, no large spoons, no cutting knives, only butter knives, no skillets. bathroom needed good cleaning. Whats the use of having a kitchen if not enough things to cook with. Staff in lobby was great. Housekeeping was way below par.

Convenient access to freeway. Very poorly staffed with impolite sneaky people. This was a hotel that makes me remember the motto. Never leave anything in your room ever. I had 3 different hotel staff people tried to come into my room (not for legitimate purposes) during the day when they thought I was out of my room. None of them could adequately explain what it was they were doing. One young man said he needed to clean the inside of my window which was not at all dirty. He thought I would not notice that he had no cleaning supplies at all with him. Be careful if you stay here. Recommend putting a chair against the door when sleeping and showering especially if you travel alone.

My room said Queen bed, but I had a double and there were two of us. Room did not have a queen bed and the hotel did not move us to another room. Hotel charged for WIFI. We had to payfor our room cleaned.

Located near upscale mall and shopping. Bathtub could have been cleaner. I would probably pay for something a little nicer for multiple days. Hotel room was clean for the most part; bathroom had a bit of a urine smell and also bathtub needed to be bleached - I put a towel down during shower. Front desk girl was very personable. A fly got into my room, as did a small spider. Otherwise, no problems.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. There is no pool. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean. However, there's no pool. It's close to many restaurants and attractions. I will stay here again.

It had a refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, and pots & pans. All of the lighting was harsh fluorescent. No bathroom exhaust fan. Door security hardware was very loose. This was a good place for a business traveler who likes/needs to prepare his or her own meals. It felt reasonably safe despite the lack of interior corridors. Wireless internet was not included in the price, but was available for a modest weekly fee. The decor and lighting left something to be desired, and there was a cigarette burn in the bedspread (but no smoke odor). The staff were courteous and helpful. It was often impossible to park in front of my door due to high occupancy and/or limited parking. Coffee was provided, but no breakfast.

Convenience of location, amenities, and price. I had to stay upstairs on this trip. (no elevator). I have stayed here several times. The hotel is located in a nice upscale area of Birmingham and is quite convenient to shopping, restaurants and the interstate. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms have refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and dishes. I feel quite at home at this Homestead.

Location. Allowed non handicapped guest to park in handicap spaces. Good location, attractive grounds and has traffic light allowing safe entrance onto 281. Had pest control knock and then unlock room without waiting for an answer. Desk crew was very helpful and friendly. Room starting to show age with plaster falling off ceiling but over all nice.

In a convenient area and feels safe!! Employees seemed rude. I have used this hotel every time I have been to Birmingham. This is the first time, I felt the employees were kinda rude.

The location. The hotel was not cleaned. The location was great, easy on andoff interstate. Decent value but don't expect the room to be cleaned.I stayed there for 20 days and the room was cleaned only once customer service was disgusting would never stay there again.
