Poor welcome, no silverware in the room, very 'commom'

The rooms are nice and quiet. The location is far from stores and restaurants. Good hotel for the price, but you need a car because the nearest Metro train station is a 1.5 miles away and the hotel is not near any stores or restaurants.

We stayed here five days during the inaugural frenzy. What could have been a crazy time turned out to be quite a pleasing stay. The entire staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, especially with directions to the metro stations and grocery stores, etc. The front desk presented us with a packet with loads of information regarding the locat area as well as D.C. We weren't expecting patience from anyone in the hotel, but that's what we recieved. The room was clean and smelled good when we checked in. The kitchen was well supplied with basic cooking needs. Be aware that if your stay is less than five days, there is no housekeeping services but you can get fresh towels whenever you like. Would stay here again.

The staff was uniformed, and not flexible as I arrived after midnight. The room was musky and if I were not so tired, I would be afraid to sleep there. Overall of poor quality with no amenities. If you have a choice, please don'tstay here.

Convenient location, clean room and courteous staff. I always am pleased to find an Extended Stay Hotel.

Room was spacious, front desk was very helpful and friendly, and the location was excellent. There was a slight odor in the hallway to the room. Great location, great customer service. Rooms were clean but slightly outdated, but for the money I received I didn't mind at all. Kitchen was equipped with coffee makes, some pots and pans, full sized fridge. I was impressed.

Safe and easy access to location. The hotel was located very close to Old town Alexandria. It provided close and easy access to Alexandria's King Street shopping and restaurant district. The hotel was also fairly close to several DC metro stations. The facilities were well kept, clean and in a safe area.

April, 2009
Large fridge and eating area. Uncomfortable bed and no free WiFi. It was just okay. Most hotels now have free WiFi. The bed was suppose to be queen but I believe it was a full, the pillows were terrible. The hotel only had a couple of carts for suitcases, so we had to carry our cases up to the room.

Cleanliness. Late check-in time. Clean, kept up well.

Confidence of having kitchen. Too far from the metro stop. I was disappointed that I had to hire a taxi to shuttle me to the metro stop on Eisenhower. It cost me $10.00 a day plus tip.
Date of Stay:

No pressure, clean room, kitchen for cooking (saved money), they had typed sheets directing us to businesses and restaurants. Someone was smoking on our floor. We could smell it but not see it. Not enough utensils, dish soap in kitchen, fry pan, mixing bowl. Very clean, basic with kitchen, near the seminar we attended, helpful staff.

Price and location. Amenities, no free WiFi. Good location relatively close to the Metro, free parking, fairly new hotel.

Everyone was extremely helpful. No continental breakfast.

Clean and better kitchen design. Room service person try to come at 8 am to our room. Kitchen is modern design, but it is not enough plates, teacups and silver for two people. Room service try to come in to our room at 8 am.
Date of Stay:

Overall clean, spacious, except some noise from the aisle and friger.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
Close to highways and public transit and close to DC.
