I booked my room thru Orbitz- The description of the room stated that check in time was 1 pm, the confirmation I received from Orbitz said check in time was 1 pm- the e mail sent to me from Orbitz confirming the booking stated that check in time was 1 pm----when I arrived at the motel at 1 pm I was told that I would have to wait until 2 pm to get my room, I was ALSO TOLD THAT MY ROOM COULD BE READY AT 1PM IF I PAID AN EXTRA $10 IN CASH. Ridiculous. The room WAS READY but they would only let me in at 1 pm if I paid an addtioal $10. When I complained the receptionist said they were within their rights to cancel my reservation and I would loose my full purchase price-- It was a dirty and sneeky scam to get an additional $10 from me. What a TERRIBLE way to do business.

It is located very close (within walking distance) to the Hollywood Walk of Fame...which is what we were doing at night after spending all day at Magic Mountain. It is not a 4-star hotel, but for being as close to the action the price is right. The only problem we had was the ceiling fan did not work, but it was a cool night & didn't matter. If you are planning to visit Hollywood & are looking for basically a place to sleep, I would recommend this hotel.

At 6am individuals performing work in the courtyard were telling jokes and laughing incredibly loud! Made it impossible to sleep!

The room smelled a bit damp. The water that came from the bathroom sink was black with particles that looked like tar. The drinking glasses were spotty.

The maintenance man (TV situation) was very nice. No facial tissues supplied. It had all the basic needs for us - clean and neat and convenient to our destination. Parking was a bit of a trick, but do-able.

Close to Hollywood Blvd. Hotel staff was very hospitible. Lumpy pillows, it's an older hotel so that's expected. Parking is a bit of a trick but at night gates secure the parking lot; I liked that. It's on the same block as a pharmacy/convience store so if you need anything from milk to hairspray it's easy to get to.

Great location and good environment. limited parking. Great location!! Good sized rooms with decent amenities for the price. Difficult parking but great value overall. Highly Recommend.
