The hotel resort is tucked back off the road so it's private and quiet. If you want to experience some of the Hollywood scene, downtown is only a few blocks away, where you can grab dinner, some drinks, and even get your groove on with some of the live music that plays on the weekends. Or you can just relax at the hotel, play some golf during the day and have a relaxing lunch in the clubhouse or on the patio overlooking the course. The beach is also only a short car ride away. The hotel staff and the golf staff are friendly and really helpful with whatever you need. The hotel looks to have done some recent updated more modern renovations yet keeping the tropical feel in line with south florida. They have also cleverly named rooms after famous golfers which i think adds a nice touch. I would recommend staying here to friends and family :)

The rooms are spacious, nice and new. They were working on the room above us, and started making noise around 10am. and when I called the front desk (which is really just an office) They stopped the work so I could sleep longer. One of the best parts of this place is the check-in is 11am. and check-out is 2pm. The Golf course is very nice, and the Resturant is friendly. Foods good too. Beds was soft. The price was right, the special price $68. and change for two. Normally the rooms run higher. Free parking which is great for the area. Historical Society has a plaque on the building, very cool. The airconditioning was noisey, because is was a window shaker which was suprising

At one time this resort must have been "The Place to go " if you were a winter visitor to Hollywood Florida. The old time feeling of the resort is quite the feel of Palm Beach. The rooms are older and have a southren warmth that only a true "escape from the hoopla~fast pace of 2008" can give to you. I travel 3 out out of 4 weekends a year in the south on business. This resort will for sure be on my lisy of MUST STAY when in the Ft.Lauderdale, Hollywood area. Near to the local Hollywood Blvd, close to the beach and very private. The neighborhood right before you enter the golf resort is shady....but...once you enter the resort you have no idea what is a few blocks away.. Safe and sound and secure... your in a wonderful world and you can relax, get your work done, sit and watch the golfers play on a nice course and go ti the club house and have a nice cocktail. The rooms are large suites and clean. I really liked this place and for the price.....You can't beat it any where in that area! Now... remember this is old time southern class....it is like old Palm Beach, so be ready to step back in time and relax, escape and just ENJOY your time away from the main drag of day to day rush rush rush....

Rooms were VERY basic. Quiet bcus only 5 or 6 rooms were occupied. Close to FLL air port!
