What transport is available to get around?

A bus stops outside the hotel's main entrance which runs into Macclesfield every hour. Alternatively guests can book a taxi at a discounted rate from the hotel to Macclesfield train or bus station where they can catch a bus or train to the attractions. Adlington Hall is approx 5 miles away from the hotel as can be reached by taxi.

Do you provide parking?

The hotel has free on-site car parking.

What are your breakfast options?

Full English and continental breakfast is available in the hotel's (Ridge) restaurant. The cost is £12.95 if booked on a room only basis and is served Monday to Friday 7:00am to 9:30am and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 10:00am.

However if you wish for some lighter options then we can provide those as requested and they will be charged individually.

The Hotel is located in Bollington, Cheshire where there are also a selection of eateries that may provide breakfast options, however the local town of Macclesfield houses a Costa Coffee shop, Cafe Nero and other cafes that also serve breakfast.

The Ridge Restaurant is simply a must to dine in during your stay. Alongside an a la carte menu we offer a table d'hote menu that changes daily and is specially prepared with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. It is highly recommended that you make a table booking well in advance to avoid disappointment.

What can I do nearby?

Local attractions include Macclesfield Silk Museum, Jodrell Bank Science Museum, Capesthorne Hall, Adlington Hall, Tatton Park and Lyme Park.

We would recommend a walk down in to Bollington from the Hotel to join the Middlewood Way and head towards Poynton. Once at the Poynton milestone you can deviate off the path and follow the road to a lovely Pub called the Farmers Arms and enjoy a well deserved drink. This route can be planned firstly on googlemaps and a return journey can be made along the canal, crossing over the bridge at Clarence Mill and into Bollington.
