We were assigned a room at the end of the hall on the second floor. There is no elevator so we climbed the stairs and walked the 2 miles to our room. When we got to the room it was very musty smelling and the hallway carpet was dirty (looked like it was never vacuumed before). We left the room for dinner and came back a couple hours later, while we were gone we left the window open to get rid of the smell. When we returned we were prepared to go to bed, long day ahead. I lifted up the sheet to get in bed and saw a bug, a bed bug. We looked it up on internet to make sure it was a bed bug and it was- orange-y, flat and black on the back. We captured the bug and brought it to the front desk. They looked at us like we were crazy. However they changed our room closer to the desk. I still was not able to sleep for the next two nights. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I needed to be in this area so chose this hotel. It's a weird mix -- located behind a bunch of car dealers & sandwiched in next to the Saw Mill Parkway... it's really just a regular old Holiday Inn, the 'country manor' is kind of wishful thinking. Staff is pleasant & they try hard. Outdoor pool was very pleasant. One side you look out on trees, nice, but also highway noise. If you have to be in the area, OK, but don't make it a destination.

Although rooms and hotel were a very good deal, staff was poorly informed about local services. Hotel was isolated from available services in area and in house restaurant was not available late at night.

Large room with comfortable bed. An excellent hotel convenient to major Westchester County highways. The Holiday Inn is well maintained and attractive.

The hotel cleaning staff was excellent and helpful. The man on desk at night was not helpful. This is a good, clean, no frills hotel. It's better than a Super 8, but not a Marriott. It's newer, and seems more like a Holiday Inn Express in terms of the good shower and newer bathroom. I'd stay there again if I needed to be in that area. It's also right next door to the commuter rail if you need to get into the city.

It was clean and had a fun atmosphere including a restaurant, bar and night cap feature. Fox new channel was not available. This hotel has every convenience a leisure travler needs. Good location, clean, nice decor and good parking. The public rooms were warm and inviting, including books available on local history and attractions. The staff was very professional in all service areas. Negative: for some reason, Holiday Inn hotels and Holiday Inn Express hotels do not provide the Fox News channel, which could affect my future choice of hotels.
