There is a lot to like at the Holiday Inn. The large pool, fitness area, game tables and arcade made this a big hit with my kids. They even have a bowling alley on the opposite end of the parking lot. The food and service were remarkable. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave, but those are the only faults I could find with an otherwise fantastic hotel.

Nice room. Far from downtown. Very nice.

Unclean hotel, old.. needs alot of help, the remodeling is only a bandaid at best! Hair on bathroom floors in my room and all of our wedding parties rooms. Management another story, they could care less

Kept awake by drunks till 3:00 AM police should have been called.

Flat screen TV, very newly remodeled. The pillows - it was like sleeping sitting up. Very nice hotel, great restaurant, newly remodeled, flat-screen TV, extremely clean, nice location. Pillows horrible.

This hotel is really old, outdated and extremely dirty with a serious sound problem. The Holidome is unattended by staff and the facility allows outside persons to have birthday parties in the Holidome. These parties are attended by tons of children swimming and running around with minimal supervision. The facility is very dirty with bugs seen in public as well as the private bathrooms. Staff was unprofessional and unconcerned re: customer complaints.

Hotel was busy due to spring breakers!Pool was a dirty green in color.. trash and wet old towels left all over pool deck area.. Also too warm in Holidome! No continental breakfast offered either! It was nothing special really, but close to WMU which is why we stayed there to tour the college!

Clean, crisp colors and totally remodeled 8 months ago. Totally non smoking which is great. Bathroom vanity was small, magnified noise through air unit (they know but have not corrected). Hot tub had dirty foam. Great family place for a winter vacation with nice indoor pool, games etc. But, pool tended to be green/brown by evening and hot tub filled with polluted foam. When air not on in room, voices from below were magnified and disturbing. Vanity in bathroom was tiny -- not enough room for even one ditty bag let alone. Cosmetics. No refrigerator or microwave. To enter hotel have to walk through smoke from dozens smoking out front -- only easily accessible place for smokers. Restaurant/bar service was slow and food basically college friendly sandwiches and snacks.

checked in, wrong room, came back to the desk, placed in the same room type.. decided I didn't want to walk all the way down again, next morning no continental breakfast... friends stayed elsewhere and were extremely happy with their stay.. I guess it's time to find out where they stayed and go there next time

The hotel now has a Burdicks bar and grill located in the lobby, which is perfect for casual dining or a night at the bar. Add to that the nearby bowling alley (same parking lot) and there's plenty to do. Nicely remodeled rooms with flat panel TV's, and a good pool area as well. Best in the area to stay in for that price.

Not a thing maybe the cleanliness of the room, I woke to a man looking in my window the third floor. Curtains that didn't close, some guy looking in my window when I woke up, & the location is no where near town. Horrible, only in Kalamazoo by an easement.

I found that the staff of this hotel was very helpful, especially for people whe were unfamiliar with the area. I was very appreciative of the shuttle service.

My children loved the pool and the games. The staff was very helpful and nice. The restaurant was very good and my children ate free, which saved us some real money. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The hotel has been renovated and is very fresh and inviting. I was given free breakfast coupons, but I don't eat breakfast - no choices here! This hotel is a very clean, upbeat, inviting, relaxing place for families, business travellers and young people looking for a romantic getaway. All groups would be pleased with this location.

The hotel is older but the staff is fantastic. Always friendly and willing to help. Will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

There was paper taped over the windows, the pool and restaurant closed, hammering, dust, dirt and scaffolding right outside the rooms. The hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel personnel were helpful. What a disaster..no food after long trips to arrive, had to find a grocery store, too late at night to find another room or restaurant somewhere else. No pool.

Friendly staff, good onsite restaurant and comfortable beds. As an older Holiday Inn, I was a little dubious, even though I read that it had been recently updated. In fact the beds were terrific, Burdick's, the onsite restaurant, had good food and extremely reasonable breakfast prices and the staff were all exceptionally friendly.

I believe that after the renovations are complete, the hotel will be absolutely fine. There was no swimming pool or restaurant available. The staff was amazing!

It was very clean. I was very surprised at this hotel. At first, I was disappointed that we got the Holiday Inn as a four start hotel that I requested. However, don't be afraid. It is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Eat dinner and had drinks. My son is going to be a freshman at Western Michigan University and I will stay there again when we go back and visit.

It is very modern and better than the previous times we stayed there. Nothing. This hotel is freshly renovated. The rooms are now better quality than you find in most resorts that are located in Cancun. The pool area is great for family activities and is one of the best designed.
