I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights on a business trip and the location is great ! the room is confortable and nicely decorated. The service and the front desk are very inefficient : I complained of early wake up (from 5:00 AM) due to nice that Could not qualify (trays, fans, water...) ... and the staff considered me as an idiot and did not take any action: I checked by myslef after 2 nights of early wakep up and discovered that the kitchen was right above my room ! This explains the noice : the cooks were noisy when preparing breakfast, and the noice was coming from fridge/washer etc. I also tried to get in touch my the manager but he (or she) was not there ! The hotel should provide at least information .. and you do not want sleepless nights due to kitchen noices ! as an excuse, the front desk clerk told me that the previous clerk were new ... when I checked out. I will not recommand this hotel : other customers have similar concerns in the reviews and I should have considered them before booking.

Nice view of the lakefront. Room was clean, spacious and large. It was a bit noisy in the hallways during the day due to a kids minor hockey tournament. But everything else was great.

The view. That the fridge in the room had items in it from the previous guest.

This hotel is located on Lake Ontraio..our room had a balcony and a great view. The hotel has recently renovated and it is beautiful. Staff and service was great. I will most certainly come again.

The Holiday Inn Kingston was overpriced and the customer service was far from cordial. Won't be staying there again - that's for sure. From the maids making LOTS of noise talking in the hall at 8AM to the moron in the room next door leaving his alarm on from 815 onwards - not going back.

Right location, comfortable, friendly helpful staff, very clean, big king bed with comfortable linens, TV channels. Nothing.

"For close to $* I expect a decent view, a clean room, a quiet air conditioner. This room was dingey, small, and the AC sounded like a train the whole night. View of the lake was obstructed. We cut our stay there and left after one night. This hotel was worth perhaps $100 nightly."

Close to amenities. Rooms were too sparsely furnished for the price you pay. Well situated with friendly staff. No warmth to room furnishings.

I have read the other reviews about this hotel and can't believe that they stayed at the same hotel as I did. I had a beautiful room overlooking the water. The lounge had a huge patio on the waterfront and the staff were very friendly and fun. I travel ALOT for business and I would definitely stay there again and again.

The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly. NothingI can think of. Great location, did not have to take my car out of lot, everything we wanted was within walking distance.

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. We were not advised of a substantial parking fee before hand, and since we have a handicapped son we could not choose on street or off site parking. Lovely location, right on the water. Staff was very friendly and willing to assist. Hotel itself was ok, but lacked a little polish. The room was in good order except for some left over food in the fridge - which gave us an uneasy feeling that the place was not as clean as we hoped. The beds were very comfy. The bathroom was extremely small - a little more square footage there would have added a lot to the feel of the room in general. Wouldn't it be great if more than the luxury rooms could have jetted tubs? The bathroom is a very big part of the experience of the room and the stay.

Convenient, easy, friendly and clean. Thank you No moderate level dining options. Dinner was ave $26 entrees which is fine for some circumstances, but not after a long day of travel.

Location was excellent. The price and cleanliness of the hotel were not very good at all. Not clean, found several hairs in bathroom. Sink did not drain. The hotel is way overpriced.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The bathtub appeared dirty when I arrived. I stayed 3 nights and the bathroom was never cleaned. Overall, the hotel was not bad. It has all the amenities for a long stay. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was not bad. The view was calming and beautiful. Only criticism is the cleaning staff. In 3 nights, my tub was not cleaned. So I had to take 6 showers in a dirty tub that looked dirty when I arrived. It really took away from an otherwise nice stay.

Convenient location, friendliness of staff, comfortable bed, great view. Perhaps we missed mention of the per diem parking charge.

Great location, attended the christmas parade and it ended 1 block from the hotel entrance no fighting traffic to get back. Great water views. Paying 12$ for parking. Perfect downtown location. Close to shops, on the water and great for the kids as well as there was a pool and arcade games open from 7am-10pm. Great gym as well.

Location. Run down and needs renovation. Needs renovation. One of the few times I have been disappointed by this hotel.
