It was just what I wanted. Close to airport, fast shuttle service to airport in the morning, nice staff. Carpet in my room could use a good cleaning around the edges,

Convenient to work, felt safe in the hotel. Gross bugs in the room. Room was very DAMP with no way to vent moisture. Needs pest control and better ventilation. The room became very damp with no vent/fan in the bathroom and the window and door to the outside could not be opened. Scary sized bugs in the room. Otherwise I found the room to be clean and comfortable on arrival. Comfort level declined over the course of a week as the room became more and more damp.

Lovely hotel with comfy beds and airport shuttle. Nice lounge with live music and pool table. Problems: Front desk was slow to check in guest on 1-25-08 the longest line I've EVER seen at a hotel front desk and grumpy clerk. Problem 2: airport shuttle had too many guest wanting to get on in the morning so go early in case you have to wait 25 min. for the next shuttle. Also waited over 45 minutes after phoning upon return to airport to get shuttle back to hotel on Sat. 2-2-08 at approx. 6:15pm. Other hotel shuttles seemed to run more frequently and made me wish I was riding with them.

Close to airport. Under staffed. Minimal rooms. Not clean. Barely usable rooms. Absolutely minimal in-room amenities. Cleanliness was marginal. No breakfast available. Shockingly low quality hotel.

"We stayed here on a ""Last Minute Package Deal"". It?s a little out of the way, but clean, good value, and nice staff. Restaurant food was very good for the price. Try the breakfast bar ? best value I?ve seen at a hotel in a while! If you don?t mind staying this far from the city, this is a great choice!"

I had stayed here for a week, and on Day 1 my neighbor left out a tray room service food, 4 days later it was picked up, along with the flies that had gathered. Very poor service all around

This hotel offered both convenience and value. It was close to the airport as well as other attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the best part was that the room was a great value. It was a large room with a kitchenette.

It was very family friendly and we enjoyed the pool. The rooms were slightly outdated and breakfast was somewhat expensive for travelers, especially when you become used to free Continental breakfast.

We stayed for a week while visiting DC. The location is close to Dulles but we had to drive 15 miles to take the subway into DC. Didn't care for the smell of cigarette smoke drifting into the restaurant. Not much near the hotel for shopping or eating. Next time I would get a hotel closer to DC.

Good value for money. Food was OK but not great. Hotel needs to work on improving its Wi-Fi or internet connectivity. Weak wireless signal in my room.

Restaurant choices inside the hotel. Dark and antiquated, several ground floor rooms had doors to open parking lots. Undeserving of a 3 star. I've stayed at 2.5 star hotels with much more modern amenities. Apparently this hotel is popular with large touring groups, quite a few tour buses occupying several parking spaces. This place desperately needs a make over to sustain a 3 star.

"A bit far out for DC vacationers, but convenient to Dulles. Hotel was much nicer than I'd imagined. During our stay, there were a number of large group events, but rooms were still quiet."

the Holiday Inn Dulles Airport was great, comfortable and safe. I arrived early and the staff accomidated me with an early check-in. I received a free breakfast and the dining room was clean and inviting. Lunch service was quick and very well prepared. My room was cleaned before noon each day. Linen and bedding were changed my second night. Which is a first! Internet service was in the room which made it easy for me to make my contacts. The Guest Business Center provided me with printer service to get online check-in. Location was excellent and gas station nearby made my refueling before turning in my rental easy in a busy area near Dulles airport. I definitely would choose this hotel the next time I'm in Washington.

Room had bad odor. The Hotel is overrated, 2 1/2 star at most. Unorganized hallways, room picks up all hall noise, gap under door 2. Room had a very bad odor, hotel slide door bolted shut, could have used this to go in and out to car.

Heater didn't work. Called front desk and was told that engineering would be there in 10 min. They never showed up.

Holiday Inn Wasgington-Dulles Intl Airport was somewhat unsatisfactory. Although the room was clean and well-kept, the bathroom towel rod was broken, so was the light-bulb out at the very entry of the room. We called the reception asking if we could change into another room - and we were told that we would be called back - we waited till the time we were to leave the next day - so basically our call was ignored - we were not even told if we would geta room-change or not. Furthermore, did not give us a microwave or a fridge. On the other hand, location was good in terms of accessibility to the places we wished to visit. Cleanliness was great. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but we would have still liked more for the money.
