We had one night to spend in Oahu before going to another island. We were able to take a short walk to the beach and over to Duke's for dinner. There is an I-hop around th corner for breakfast.

Very good in general. The hotel is clean. The staffs are very friendlly. A little bit far from Wakiki beach. No balcony.

To be an actual resident in Hawaii, I expected a lot better rooms. Its in Waikiki for goodness sakes! For the standard room they could at least have provided a free continental breakfast every morning, a microwave in the room, and they should include the parking fee of 13 dollars a day with the room price! I think its ridiculous the parking fee price. I think its way too much especially since the parking lot is super small and to get a actual parking space, you would need to be back at the hotel by a certain time. Another bad thing was all the construction going on in that area, it doesn't have any views of the ocean, and I think the overal price of the room should be lower because they don't provide much of anything. I wouldn't stay there ever again.

This is a good hotel. It is not expensive and is close to the beach and other shops and eating/drinking places. We were on the 11th floor so that made it quiet. They were working on the hotel but it did not bother us. (Several hotels looked like they were being remodeled.)The traffic in Waikiki is heavy and parking is hard to find, so make use of the shuttle buses and regular buses. We had a great time.

Staff friendly and helpful. Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and would stay again.

I like Holiday Inn since it's popular in China. Then I choosed it when I decided to Hawaii for vacation. Some points highlighted as bellow: 1. Staff there was very nice & kind. Whenever you had any question, they will give you a satisfied answer. 2. Room cleanning is ok. Facility is old. Just as old as 90's. But I don't care. I can get on internet, I can sleep, I can take a safe & clean shower, I have air-conditioner, that's enough for my 4 days' stay. 3. Important for me, is the Chinese Buffet just down stairs. It's $6.99 for breakfast, $14.99 for dinner. (Not sure about the lunch since I haven't had lunch there.) I know, $14.99 maybe sound expensive if you judge it in other places in United States, but you should know the background that the food in Hawaii is very expensive. The food in that buffet is not so much, but it's just ok for me since I had stayed in San Francisco for more than one month before that trip, I longed for some typical Chinese food very much! 4. Location is good. It's opposite to Hilton Waikiki. It's just 5 minutes walking to across Hilton to get to Waikiki. 15 minutes walking to market place. You can get free map from front desk if you want to make your own itinerary. 5. Tours: you can ask their front desk to get some tours information. You can also book ticket from there. But I suggest to book these from Travel website since it's cheaper. :)

We choose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and literally around the corner from our extended family we were also visiting. The rooms are small, but recently updated so everything is fresh and clean. We anticipated we wouldn't be in our room much during the day, which proved to be true. Thus, this location turned out to be the perfect place to start our day and return to at night. We were able to fit a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 younger children) comfortably in the 2 double bed room, with plenty of storage for our things. The refrigerator came in handy and allowed us to have a few groceries in our room for breakfast and afternoon snack. The location is convenient to several convenience stores, Starbucks, various Restaurants, the beach, Ala Moana mall, and there is a bus stop right out front. We saw the flight crew for China Airlines several times in the lobby during our stay, so it must be their lay-over location as well. Our only complaint was the pool was unheated. It was too cold for our kids to enjoy even on a hot 80+ degree day in the late afternoon. And my kids are used to swimming in Lake Michigan! On the plus side, the facility does have a laundry room, which I did use to clean our warm, long-sleeve items for the return trip home. That was very handy!

Made a great accommodation for my mother-in-law's heal condition. Needs more lamp or other lights for rooms. Over all, I was satisfied. It was good price. If we have problems, someone will come and help us right away. We saw many good people there.

This is a very basic hotel....for just a few dollars more I was able to go to the Sheraton in Waikiki. The best thing about this hotel was the location to Ala Moana and the convention center. Otherwise the rooms are rediculously small.

Very friendly staff, and very good location for food, shopping and beach.

The hotel staffs are excellent; rooms are moderate, very clean and overall good place to stay. Had to pay 13 dollars a day for parking on their parking lot. The hotel was a typical Holiday Inn room, but the lobby was very nice, had internet for free to use and the staff are very professional, and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants close enough to walk to and the area is nice.

The hotel is okay. Rooms are clean. The service is good and fast. Parking is expensive (USD 12 plus tax per day).

The holiday inn was satisfactory. The location was right next to the beach and not that far away from the wakiki stores and restaurants. The staff was also very friendly.

Close to everything we needed. $13 a night for parking per day. Everyone was friendly except the lady was rude when we arrived early. Instead of shifting rooms to accommodate early arrivers they would make some wait for hours while other would walk right in. They need to be more flexible.

Stayed for Business. Entire Hotel is is need of remodel and upgrade. Although it was clean it is sowing its age. Not your normal Holiday Inn

Area is very accessible, overall stay was very good. Room carpet is all old & very dirty, needs very detailed shampoo.

Cleanliness and friendliness. That we could not be picked up there but had to wait down the street. The hotel was excellent and service great.

Generally a satisfactory stay. The room was a bit cramped, and the hanging storage and bathroom door opening is badly designed. The building needs revamping. The location was good for us as we had a car and it was a short ride to everything. The staff were very friendly and most helpful.

Near the beach and nice restaurants. The a/c was loud and kept us up; the toilet ran constantly; staff started cleaning at 5 am. Parking was inadequate.
