My boyfriend & I reserved this room to have a romantic night together. Our room was very decent, standard, and clean. There was a biker convention going on in the parking lot, however this did not distract us. The service was great, and the location is in a very quiet area of Torrance. Room came with three HBO channels, which was a plus, and we were able to catch some good movies. About 3 miles away are a strip of some great restaurants, movie theatres, etc. I will mos def come back to this HOliday Inn.

Friendly staff. People smoking right outside the entrance/exit of lobby. Felt safe in the area, friendly staff, andclean room.

Was very happy with this establishment. The front desk people were very helpful and always wore a smile on their face. The rooms were clean and you get a sense of comfort and safety as well. If I was to visit Torrance again I would book at this hotel again.

The hotel sits in the industrial part of Los Angeles so the surrounding area isn't pristine and dining options are difficult to find in the area. It is fairly easy to locate from major highways however. The staff was friendly and the best view in the hotel is the one while you're IN the pool. The only negative we can really pinpoint is that the walls were fairly thin. One morning we heard neighbors banging the bathroom door constantly.

Comfortable, quiet location, housekeeping works all hours if necessary, family friendly. Gym equipment very old, outdated, rickety, not calibrated correctly, needs severe upgrade.

Booked our stay for Christmas eve to 25th. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. My 3 year old found a tin of tobacco in the corner near the air conditioner and almost ate it! Also no bathrobes. Old fixtures. Dirty/old carpet. Small room. No buffet breakfast. Sucks big time

I'll stay there next time I go to cailfornia for vacation. Because of it's location, it was quiet but my attractions were never more then 10-25 minutes away. I went to Long beach for the LBGP, Disneyland, PCH, and the Lond beach Airport (LBG)with ease. I slept well in the rooms but never got to try any services. For the price this is the place to sleep. You do have to drive to attractions, nothing is in walking distance.

Due to problems with our reservation at the Holiday Inn in San Pedro, our group of 7 ended up at this hotel. It was definitely an upgrade from San Pedro! The staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were roomy and clean, and the restaurant was excellent. All of this and the price was very affordable.

I have never stayed at a hotel where everyone was so accomodating. The Ginger Cafe was excellent. I highly recommend it and will absolutely stay there again!!

The staff at the Torrance Holiday Inn was rude and the room was, at best, mediocre. I called to make sure I could have a late check-in and the phone rang endlessly. It took a few tries to get ahold of someone. When I checked in there was a long line and the woman at the desk was rude and had an attitude. Not professional in any manner. She ignored me when I asked to confirm that the room was non-smoking. Once I got to the room, I realized that it was actually a smoking room, but decided to keep it instead of dealing with the staff. A woman working the desk informed me that there were take-out menus available in the room for late-night delivery, but there were none. I went to bed hungry in a stinky room. Would not return!

Convenient & reasonably priced. Bathroom counter way too low. Everything is nice, and although dated, is more than adequate. The bar and jacuzzi close too early for Friday night(9PM).

Rooms were great! Staff wasvery nice. Parking lot a little untidy, but that is humans to blame, not the hotel.
