It took a long time to check in as there computer system was running slow. The staff is friendly. Our room was beachfront with a beautiful view of sand and ocean. Two pools are clean and nice. Beach service was good, beach chairs and shades are nice. The rooms need remodeling and updated furniture.

Large, well-appointed, and clean room. Great bathroom with both tub and separate shower. Front desk and restaurant staff were awesome - courteous, efficient, friendly, and helpful. We forgot our suitcase and they helped us stock up on the essentials! Great beach location with views of pool and/or ocean. Excellent value.

When I picture a resort, something different comes to mind. They have several pools and there is the room. What else makes a resort? I pictured more for the fitness center. There was a broken and unworkable eliptical machine, a worn out and barely working treadmill and a stationary bike and weights.

This hotel is not as described,the condition is in grave need of repair. We moved rooms three times in three days to plumbing problems. The worst came when there was a gas problem resulting in flames,a call was made by my husband did not move the lady at the front to inform anyone of the problem,she continue to sign people in as boiler was popping and building pressure.The fire dept was called only after a desperate attempt was made to get people out.Management was ill responsible.Only the maintenance at this hotel were kind and helpful. Repair your hotel and get responsible front desk women not jennifer and Dynitre!!

We have stayed in Holiday Inn Sunspree Resorts before and have had much better stays. The beach staff was nice 2 beach chairs and an umbrella each day, nice guys! No Towels to be found by the pool. 2 pools that were nice. Rooms are juist regular rooms, nothing special. The bathroom needed to be upgraded, shower wouldn't shut off and light bulbs were burned out, paint flaking and coming off the ceiling. The towel were small and thin. Beds were not at all comfortable. Excercise room was very small. We had a problem with our reservation and they didn't have the room type we had requested. The staff tried to find something for us but didn't have what we had requested. Loved the beach but don't think we would stay here again. In my opinion it isn't worth the money charged for a "resort".

Our room overlooked the pool which was good and bad. Trying to go to bed early on a dive-in movie night was a little annoying as it was a little loud but it was bearable. great beach access and free chairs and umbrellas. Room was clean and beds were soft and sheets were clean. It was reasonably priced compared to those around it. Will definately stay here again!

when we checked in there was no sheets or pillows for the extra bed, no ash trays, the remote for the tv didn't work, the air conditioner didn't work right and there was mold on the cieling . when we left the air conditioner still didn't work, still no pillows for the extra bed,the remote didn't work right and there was mold on the cieling. i guess 4 days wasn't long enough time for them to fix anything. don't plan on eating there either we had 4 cheeseburgers 4 fries and 4 cokes for * the food is way over priced.

The location of this hotel was wonderful, right on the beach. This hotel is great for families. Rooms are very clean and a great gulf view.

When my husband and I showed up to check in there was a problem. The girl at the counter was very nice and helped us get into our room and solve the problem. The hotel itself was fabulous. The room was wonderful. The view we had was priceless. At night we sat on the balcony for hours and just listened to the waves hit the shore. The restaurant was a little pricey, but great! Overall, a fabulous weekend!

It had everything thatI wanted and then some! There was nothing thatI did not like. We enjoyed it all. This hotel was by far one of the best we have said in years. Everything was excellent! We just went for a weekend get away.

If you want to vacation in a family-friendly place - this hotel is strong choice. We had a ocean view room with two beds for the three of us. The room was clean, but small. We had to put a lot of our beach stuff on the tiny balcony to have space in the room. My 7-year old son loved the pool (snicker)- and the beach is right there. They have free beach chairs and umbrellas which is a plus. Come early for the best chair spots (8-9am). But the best part were all of the families from all over.

not worth the money for the stay. have stayed at better quality places for less money. the staff was unfriendly. The staff could not find my reservation even after i showed them my confirmation. overall poor experience. rooms were of very poor quality. the only good thing about the place was the beach you had to cross a 7 ft dune to get to.

The Holiday Inn, Sunspree Resort, at Ft. Walton Beach, was very very nice and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and catered to our needs. The View was breath taking. Everything we wanted. The dining room The Crab Island Cafe was a very good place to eat and relax. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet and supper meals were of exceptionaly good quality and reasonable. Two great pools and hot tub. Iwill stay there again, and recommend it to others.

The hotel was clean and right next to the beach. The sign was hard to see so it was easy to miss. The hotel was very nice and in a beautiful location,the room I stayed in was literally next to the beach. the hotel was off any of the main drags in the area which made it easier to get in and out of the parking lot.

We wanted a decent hotel on the beach and that is what we got. The beds were nice and the room was clean. The word "resort" is a bit misleading, but it is a good hotel. In the day of continential breakfasts and coffee in the lobby, this htel is lacking those services. Little things make a big difference!
