I called to get a late check in and that staff was very friendly and told me not to worry. Check in was easy and although a lot of people were there it was a very quick check in and quiet hotel. They did not offer a contential breakfast in the morning but you could go to the hotel restaurant if you wanted to spend the money.

King size bed & pull out couch was great to have. The pull out couch's mattress could've been thicker. I was very pleased with the parking lot and the room had a balcony with a view which was really nice. The price was great for the room.

Best part is the location for Chiefs game. Breakfast buffet was good. Whirlpool needed cleaning.

The Holiday Inn KANSAS CITY-SPORTS COMPLEX was one of my worst stays that I have been to in a while. I will never be returning to this location and maybe not to another Holiday Inn. After my girlfriend and I got out of the shower, and started to dry off, I noticed that one of the towels had feces on it. My girlfriend took another shower. I called the front desk. They were 'temporarily out of towels', but after I mention the feces they promply brought up a whole new set of fresh towel 20 minutes later. After complaining at the front desk they gave me a $20 dicount to the breakfast buffet. They didn't comp any part of the room, so we had to eat breakfast. I had to get silverware. They never took our order or gave us water. So we went opted to do the buffet. The food was semi cold and the eggs were runny and the milk was warm. The only person that talked to us while we sat and ate breakfast was when we left and I handed them the coupon. My girlfriend and I eat out all the time and both have worked or wrk in the food service industry. This was the worst meal we had consumed in a long time. This was by far the worst stay I have ever had. The only plus side to staying at the Holiday Inn KANSAS CITY-SPORTS COMPLEX is the thought that all my future stays at other hotels can only be better!

Great location to sports complex. Staff not helpful and friendly.

This hotel is right across from the stadiums, so it's a great location for the game; saves the hassle of traffic and parking. When we checked in at 5:00, which the stated time was 3:00, there were several families waiting for rooms; they weren't clean yet. While we were standing waiting two people came up & one said their bathroom had no handles on the faucet and another said one of their beds was broken. We finally got a room and the desk clerk, who was totally overwhelmed and was the only bright spot in this adventure, gave us a reduced rate. Our room was not finished when we got into it and we were still calling at 10:00 for towels. Our room was basically clean, but some of the wallpaper was falling off and our bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The pool area was ok, but you kind of had a weird feeling about the water & when it had last been cleaned. The breakfast area and food were ok, but my chair was so dirty it was gross to sit on it. We lucked out and had adequate air conditioning. We heard checking in and checking out that many rooms didn't have good air & one gentleman said the temperature in his room was 88 degrees.

The location of the hotel was excellent since we were in KC to attend the KC White Sox games. We had no problem in checking in but did have a problem getting something to eat. It seems that we either were a 1/2 too late to eat or an hour to early. It was OK since Denny's was near by. Other than that, the staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the close location to the ball park...No traffic congestion to deal with like at White Sox park. We will stay again if we decide to go to KC for another series...

Across the street from royals/arrowhead stadium. Being put in a room across from the employees break room. This is our second time being at this hotel. They first time we had a great room(nicer)and payed less. The second time paid more and got a terrible room that was directly across the hall from the housekeepers. We wanted a nice get away and all we got was the house keepers gossip and the were very loud andI found that to be very rude.

Walking distance to the ballpark (Kauffman Stadium). The rude lady at the front desk. Clean, classy, indoor pool, for the price its an excellent deal (Kansas city). Will visit this place again probably within the next month.

It was close to the sports complex in which we attended. The bathroom tub was stopped up and would not drain. Reported it to the front desk in the morning, and it did not get fixed until late in the evening. I would recommend this hotel for leisure travelers and anyone wanting to avoid the crowd into the Kansas City Sports Complex (Kaufman & Arrowhead). Staying at this hotel is convenient for sports events due to the location.

No Security. The hotel was ok, however my truck was broken into on the last night of my stay and I was told that it has been happening quite often, but I wasn't told this until after the incident. I will not be staying at that hotel ever again because of their lack of security.

Great location. The lock on our room door did not work. TheTV was black and white. While my overall experience was good I don't think I would stay here again. When we arrived we informed the front desk about our television problems and that our lock on door did not work and neither problem was ever fixed. The door was really a concern to me!

Roomy and clean. Maid comes in your room when you put the do not disturb sign on andalso loud. If you go to this hotel and you wanna leave for dinner make sure you don't leave any credit card receipts laying around because the maid will throw them away. I've never been to a hotel where the maid comes in at night and cleans your room whether you got a do not disturb sign on or not.

I liked the welcoming staff upon entering the hotel. They were very helpful in giving directions and offering convenient services! One thing that I did not like was the hard pillows in the room. Great stay! I would highly recommend it. It is in a convenient location as far as attractions and shopping. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to all guests. The service was quick and efficient as well as reasonably cost.
