We stayed for a total of 4 days, 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and is staffed by very friendly, helpful people. The shuttle service is not all we expected, but that was a very small drawback to a wonderful stay. If you are going to be in the Black Hills area, this is a great location. Beautiful view and lots of local places to eat.

We arrived in Spearfish at 12:30pm. We were told the room wouldn't be ready until 4pm. Our room faced the inner courtyard which contained the swimming pool and jacuzzis. Both nights there were group(s) of people in this inner courtyard drinking and yelling, most times till 5am.

Very clean, nice room. Only trouble was spotting hotel from main road...it's a tiny bit off and up a slight hill...they could use a sign on the main road.

I loved the sauna. It was just the right temp. I also liked how it was right next to Applebees and the interstate. The swimming pool was rather cold and the gym could use some newer equipment. Overall, We had a pleasant time. The beds were comfortable. I didn't like how there weren't any vending machines close to our room nor was there an ice machine. We had to go down to the first floor to get ice. There were soda machines but nothing to snack on if we wanted. At least none close to our room if there was. But the hotel seemed to be recently updated and perhaps it is still in the works.

Security doors on all entrances. Indoor pool left the hallways smelling of chlorine. Excellent price, very good location and easy access of the interstate highway. Friendly staff, very cleans rooms, comfortable beds, nice thick towels etc. We did not use the restaurant in the facility. A good place to stay away from home.

The pool was excellent. This hotel is less than 15 miles to Deadwood which has great casino entertainment.

The hotel was typical of an older hotel and it was adequate and a great location. It was ok. The hotel was an older hotel, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was a great location and the beds were very comfortable.

Price, received room for kids. Room was not overly clean, stains on wall, stuck away at the back of hotel. I was a little disappointed as the hotel itself met my expectations for the quality I wanted, but our room was like it was in a different hotel.

The pool. Very hard to find your way around this hotel - hard to find the elevators - didn't use and had plenty of luggage to lug up steps.

Air conditioning unit was too noisy and didn't cool the room properly. The hotel was clean and in a good location but we stayed 3 nights and the first night even though the air conditioning unit was set at 60 it never cooled down to that. We told the hotel desk person the next morning and it seemed better the 2nd night but it was also quite a bit cooler outdoors. Then the 3rd night, again with it set at 60, lowest it would go, it was warm so I don't know if anything was done to make it work better. The other problem with the air conditioner was that it would kick on and off frequently and was very loud when it was on. Therefore, 2 out of the 3 nights we did not get good sleep.

Bed was so comfortable and food was good. The pool chlorine could be smelled thru out the hotel. Comfort and cleanliness good. Older needs remodeled. Beds are good and food is good. Staff people were very friendly and welcoming. Had a call from the front desk shortly after we arrived to see if there was anything they could do for us. We never had this happen at any other hotel we stayed at. Very accommodating.

The bed was really comfortable. The toilet seat was wobbly and the air unit had a broken knob. Nice place to stay. Felt safe and clean.

Room was clean and adequate size. Personnel was very unresponsive in our complaint re the dog that barked nonstop for 2 hours across the hall from us. I was very dissatisfied in the response we got to our complaint regarding the barking dog (this was in the evening/bedtime hours).
