I liked the location and the price. It was located near the highway and near many restaurants. I did not like the air conditioning unit. No matter how the controls were set the room did not maintain a comfortable temperature. Usually too hot. It was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was conviently located and the room size and accomodations were very decent. The staff was very nice and friendly. When I reported the room temperature problem (varied from comfortable to extremely hot during the night) they said they would send someone up to check on it while we were out. I did not hear anything else after that and the problem did not seem to be fixed the next night.

Very reasonable price, nice place, near a lot of good eating places, and very close to the testing center I had to visit the next day. If you have to test at the Pearson center, or have other nearby business, this is a nice place to stay

Our bathroom door stuck so bad you could barely open or close it. The Viking restaurant used to have a fantastic Sunday brunch - it's now worse than OCB, terribly dissapointing. The coffee pots in the lobby were empty in the morning. room service has limited hours. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff are nice.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Compared to other STL hotels I have rec'd higher stars for less money. The rooms seem to have been updated recently. They would have rec'd a higher star rating from me if they had put more effort into remodeling the bathroom. Overall everything was clean. The kids were happy with two pools to choose from. We also enjoyed the breakfast. There was a great selection of fruit. Our purpose for staying at this hotel was to attend a wedding reception. The banquet room was fine, the banquet food was better than expected. Getting to the dance area and the location of the bars was a bit of a tight maze.

The staff at this hotel was WONDERFUL! Everyone from arrival to departure was friendly and helpful. Loved the indoor pool and you have to try the Filet on the dinner menu!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The front desk was very friendly and worked well with me. The room was cleaned daily and yes there were signs about reusing the towels, but it was your choice. I choose to have the linens and towels changed daily and they did a good job. The hot tub was closed the first few days that we stayed due to them painting. The kids loved the pool. The pool area was kept clean. Shopping is close by and close to all the attractions that we visited. We enjoyed the stay at this hotel very much. Thanks to all the staff for making it a wonderful experience. I do have to warn people that the Steak and shake resturant next door is not a recommended place to eat. Very unprofessional waitresses and very slow service, both times we visited.

The Viking is a great place for conferences and the attendees to stay. They are accommodating to the business travelers and families. They are located to a lot of nice restaurants, shopping, and highway access to get to other parts of St. Louis quickly.

We live in the area and wanted to get away for the evening. Room was comfortable and clean. Agent who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us directions to a nice restaurant in the area. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We would do it again!

The staffwas very polite and accommodating. The building was in need of upgrades to meet the star level selected. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The pool was serviceable, but in need of water quality servicing. Definitely a no frills facility with a good staff.

This hotel advertised free breakfast included on the Travel agent site. However, the next morning, there was no continental breakfast set up. We checked the attached restaurant and were told we needed coupons to get free breakfast, either full or continental, from the buffet. We had received no coupons at check-in and were told by the manager that breakfast was not included because we booked through Travel agent . The cost of a room with breakfast included was higher than what we paid (actually, more than the cost of purchasing the breakfast buffet alone). We reported the false adverising to Travel agent and they said they would request Holiday Inn to revise their ad and gave us a travel credit for a future reservation.

the beds were comfortable, but i had a king suite, when we walked into the hotel it was so loud and so many people hanging around in the lobby, you could barely get in the doors and through the corner hall way to get to the elevator, my twin sister and her husband stayed there the same time we did and were not all tht pleased, the hotel people were very nice though, just it was really loud, and the bathroom had something all over the floor, kind of like they needed to do a update on the building for the rooms and bathrooms

I like the restaurant adjacent to the Hotel it was very good. Mattress on the bed was wore out. I enjoyed my stayat the hotel and the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good as well.

I stayed here for 2 nights while on a business trip. The restaurant is further away than you know, not a very good food selection and prices high. Tv didn;t work right, business center has 1 of the 1st computers ever built and VERY SLOW. Advertise hi-speed connection....LOL!. Parking was very bad. Front desk didn't seem too concerned about problems with business center. Coffee pot was horrible.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, the room was really clean, the staff was really nice, it was really easy to find and only a short distance from a lot of attractions. The only complaint I would have is the room size, especially the bathroom. It was so small only one person can get ready in front of the vanity.

The beds were very confortable. The room was clean. The bruch was excellant. The elevator was in need of cleaning. It had a smell and was small. Everybody was friendly.I felt safe and confortable.I would of like a bigger coffee pot and microwave.For the price I guess it was fair.

Hotel staff was polite and were nice. Location is good, several restaurants in the hotel and several restaurants in area to choose from. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor Outdoor was nice, indoor was small and needed cleaned, only negative thing about our stay.
