This is kind of far from the city, but a 30 min. journey by bus and then subway to all tourist attractions. The restaurant staff was superb and the front desk staff was very helpful as well. There is a BP gas station, McDonalds and several resaturants nearby. Executive level rooms were REALLY nice and big, although we got the hotel in package deal with a flight. Nice hotel.

Quick overnight at the hotel. Staff members were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay good. Lovely restaurant. Staff arranged a taxi for our very early train departure and did a wake-up call. Offered to pack us a "carry out" for breakfast because train departure was earlier than restaurant opening time. Large room with a bath tub.Drawback was a bad location in a business complex.

Cleanliness, the bedding was AWESOME. I loved the pillows and comforter. Breakfast wasn't included in the room and we were told by the staff it was. It was really far from the city and we were tourists, but it was a quick bus and Bahn ride into the city. Our first morning, we asked if breakfast was included with the room and we were told it was. However, at checkout, we were charged for the breakfast 34 Euro each day! We wouldn't have eaten there if we knew we were paying so much. The internet was really expensive. We stayed at a Holiday Inn in Berlin and we got it for free in the lobby. The room was very clean. We loved the bedding.

The shopping mall next to the hotel has a few stores and a movie theater and a Burger King.The biggest challenge was to get to the city center. We took the bus from the corner of the hotel to the under ground station. It cost 2euro/pp/ow 45 minutes travel time. Metro cost 2euro/pp/ow and took about 30-45 minutes. it cost us 16 euro per day to get to the city & back. The internet was not free. 8 euro per hour. if we knew the cost of travelling to the city center, we would not have chosen this hotel. We were in Vienna for 5 days.

We stayed at this hotel while in Vienna for the recent marathon. It was about a 10-minute ride from the Underground. Nice, quiet neighborhood, with free on-street parking just across the street (as opposed to 30 Euros, I believe it was, to park at the hotel itself).

This Holiday Inn was one of the best hotels we stayed in Vienna. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. This hotel is a bit farther away from the city center. You will need to take bus to the nearest underground subway station and take the U1 line to the city. Since we have the car, this was not problem for us.
