Warm friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, clean room, comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, Internet. What more could you want? Traffic! Construction! I know, it's temporary, but 45 minutes to drive 4 miles is crazy! Good luck with that.

For the price of the room i would rather go to another hotel. It is a old building we had to wait for 5 min for hot water to start working. The blanket looked like a dog had been chewing on it. The food was good but over priced. There are alot of hotels in the area for a better price and a better stay.

Took a lot of daytrips. Galveston is beautiful. If you are seeing anything at Reliant Park this is a perfect place...right next door. The bar is nice. Pool is just big enough and outdoors. The rooms are not exactly spotless, but livable.

Even though we did not bring our pet it is nice to know that we can if we needed to. The housekeeper tried to enter our room at 8:30 pm. She didn't know that the room was occupied.

My husband and I stayed here for BBQ weekend 2008. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews online, but I was pleasantly suprised. The hotel has been completely renovated in the last year and the hotel is top notch. We were within walking ,distance of reliant stadium and the staff met all of our needs that we could ask for. I would suggest this hotel to anyone. The hotel is clean, pet friendly, and great for all types of travelers.

I arranged for a late check in and was greeted at 10pm with a very welcoming face. The hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly. I was able to use the business center to check in online and print my boarding pass for the following day...this allowed me to rest easy and wake refreshed. Nice hotel and property.

They changed our room because of a noise in the air conditioner without any problem.

We went to Houston for the weekend to catch some baseball games. The staff was knowledgable about directions and helped us with public transportation which was so convenient to Minute Maid Ball Park. We thought we had a problem with the refrigerator and a staff member came quickly to help. It turned out to be a problem with the outlet...easy fix. The only complaint is the AC was not real cold and it was very loud so that we often turned it off while the TV was on due to loudness.

Friendly staff. Decent, quiet hotel adjacent to Astrodome/Reliant Stadium. Friendly staff and nice lobby. I am not sure I would stay here again.

This place is fine if you get it on a good deal with someone like Orbitz. I've stayed there 4 times now, but only on a "deal." Would not pay more than 65$/night for. Its always something - smelly room. Phones weren't working at all once, and another time, the connection was awful - I think I got disconnected. Lights went out for about 20 min. (thunderstorm - wasn't really their fault, I suppose). Ice machine on floor wasn't working. Just seems like its always something. Hotel restaurant is no bargain, and very very average in terms of quality.

The hotel provided shuttle service to the Medical Center and that was so helpful with my father being in the hospital. The hotel was definitely more than I expected. The convenience to the Medical Center and Reliant Park was wonderful. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here for medical reasons or for convenience to Reliant Park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Holiday Inn at The Astrodome in Houston, TX. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure all we wanted or needed was provided. I can't say enough about their professionalism and their friendliness. The Hotel was convenient to shopping and the freeways and very easy to commute from and to. Overall an Excellent Time and Super Staff and very nice rooms and quiet.

Good receptionist, clean and quite. TV, internet issues, was able to receive quick service. Food was not so good and menu was misleading. I recommend it for families who want to travel around Houston and just sleep at the hotel. Pay attention when ordering free food for kids. The menu says 4 kids eat free per family but the hotel staff members then told me 2 kids eat free per parent. Overpriced adult breakfast makes up for kids free food. I paid for the other 2 kids.

Very close to the reliant stadium. Ice machine broken on 5th floor. The hotel was kept up very nicely. Everything was comfortable and clean. The toilet made noises every couple of minutes like it may have lost water, was refilling, but the noise was soft and infrequent, so it wasn't a deterrent.
