First time at this hotel. The staff, the room and amenities were very good. Location was excellent - very central to everything in Jacksonville (which is not a whole lot unfortunately). Good stay at a good price - I will be back.

Comfortable bed. I wish the bathtub was a little bigger. Very nice and clean! I like that there was a small gym available. Concierge could have been more helpful - I think he was used to business travelers and was not used to giving information about the beach etc.

Attended wedding in Jax in 12/07 and was a little worried after reading reviews. All worries were put to rest upon check in as the hotel has obviously been upgraded in the past year. My room was very clean and decorated in a nice manner. The bed was one of the very best I have ever slept on during my years of hotel stay. Due to poor reviews, I just wanted to put out the word that this location was more than suitable for most people. Thanks...

The staff and lobby were great; laundry and work-out room were conveniently located and more than sufficient; restaurant staff is very pleasant. Construction; loud air conditioner; cranky elevator; and slight dingy smell. It was OK- would probably do well to include a supervised playground if it really wants to appeal to families. The staff was all excellent - from the front desk to room service to the restaurant staff. Nonetheless, the was that element of construction and the smells associated in addition to a slight dingy smell in the room; however, the room was very clean and room service seemed compelled to change your bed linen everyday - a bit unnecessary, but good to know. Bottom line: It's not a bad hotel; but, clearly, not quite a three star.

"Location of the hotel was great for us, right in the Southside area. Hotel was very run down - door to room did not seal all the way, beds were lumpy & did not feel clean. Tub was very stained and toilet did not flush very well. Although they were in the process of renovating, so perhaps it will improve. Overall I felt the price was not consistent with the hotel."

The beds were very comfortable, clean room, very nice lobby, pool lights change colors. My husband thought the AC was loud, but it was fine to me. Also they didn't have Styrofoam cups for the coffee, only the clear cups for water. This hotel is very convenient to I-95. It is a very nice, clean hotel. The staff is very friendly.

Location. Lousy internet service - Did not work. The hotel is OK, but we had no internet service. Telephone # for tech support not in service. Found someone for tech support - still did not work. Room location was hard to get luggage into from outside.

Location. No internet access, rude desk staff. This was not a 3-star hotel but a low 1-star. The hotel was not clean. Guest room service trays were left in the hallways for hours. Our bathroom door didn't close. The internet access did not work at all. The bar/restaurant was poor. Ashtrays at each entrance were overflowing. The parking lot was littered. The bathroom door was fixed eventually but we missed our dinner reservation. Regarding the internet issue, the staff was unwilling/unable to help.

The staff made the stay tolerable. First room was very moldy smelling. Was moved to another room higher up and it was better, but not too good for a 3 star facility. Very nice looking interior and lobby area. It is superficial as a potential nightmare awaits when you get to your room. The room was moldy possibly from hurricane problems or flooding. The staff was very accommodating, but would not recommend staying at this hotel. This would have to go down as the worst hotel experience I have ever had especially when you consider this being a 3 star facility.
