The hotel was terrible. The pool was closed for resurfacing, the toilet didnt flush correctly, the fan in the bathroom did not work, guest services was really really slow. Hotel staff was very rude.

The pool was well maintained and the perfect temperature. Nothing, maybe 24 hour pool and restaurant would be nice. We've stayed here many times and are consistently pleased with the staff and the hotel. The pool is wonderful and Malone's is great.

The hotel had a funny smell not sure what it was, smelled of propane. Pool was very dated, no towels in pool area. Walls were very thin we could here everything the housekeepers were talking about at 7:00am outside our door. Also at 8:00am housekeeping knocked once and then just walked right in the room!! Who does that? Resturant was closed for the night, so we ate at nearby resturant, Tuckers it was a very nice place to eat and have drinks. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the mall, nightlife, and good places to eat. Would not stay here again!

Our trip was a family affair for our father's funeral. We booked with a Holiday Inn assuming that we wouldn't have any problems with a higher end hotel. Getting to the hotel was the first issue. The entrance was difficult to locate because we had to drive through a closed strip-mall parking lot off a major road to get there. Several u-turns were made. Once in the lobby, we were overcome with the smell of paint and adhesive. The pool was being resurfaced and was closed. There was no mention of this on their website and, needless to say, the children were very disappointed. The smell made it next to impossible to spend any time in the lobby area during the three days we spent there. The morning of the funeral, we rose early to get everyone ready only to find that the hotel was without hot water. I called the front desk and asked if they could tell us why there was no hot water. The clerk said "No, but the maintenance man was due in 20-30 minutes and we'll have him check". With literally seconds to spare before we needed to be at the funeral home, hot water was restored. Apparently, the boilers had tripped off during the night and we were the first guests to notice. Seems to me there should be a backup system or, at least a warning system, for something this important. Despite all these issues, no compensation was ever offered during our stay. We had a total of 4 rooms for 3 days. When we travel to visit our dad, I will be sure to avoid booking at this hotel.

Nothing. Ipod disappeared from room at hotel. Had an Ipod Nano that disappeared from room at hotel. Guy at front desk said I could file an incident report when I checked out, but it was evident when doing it that no follow up would be made. Saved a few bucks on hotel room, lots a lot more because of hotel.

I stayed here as part of a wedding group. I ended up staying in two rooms on two different nights, and I can say the same things about both:Wonderful staff...even hooked me up with free toothpaste since I forgot mineAttractive, updated and cleanModest free channel selection on the TVsMattresses made of granite...I couldn't sleep very well in either room!

The restaurant was very good. The location was off of the main road and difficult to get into. Overall, it was a good hotel for the price. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean.

The maintenance man was very helpful. The staff was rude. The staff was rude and condescending, there was a wasp in my room and staff people were unhelpful and not in the least bit concerned, and I have a severe allergy to wasps.

Had a pillow menu that let us order pillows to fit our sleep style. Jacuzzi smelled bad. The hotel has attractive rooms and is located conveniently off the interstate. The room was large and comfortable. The lobby and pool area looked in need of a bit of refurbishment. The pillow menu was an unexpected perk. We could order feather pillows to match our sleeping preferences. The night attendant was uncommunicative but got us everything we needed. All in all, it was a good experience.

Price Got a smoking room that stank, was not asked if want smoking or non smoking. Smell in the room was horrible (smoke)

Close to Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Workers left equipment in the hall ways where you might stumble over them. Excellent for the money.

Close to a mall and Downtown St Louis. No complementary breakfast. The hotel was clean, located with limited accesses which controlled car noise, and the staff was friendly. The heated indoor pool was a plus for traveling with a child. The hotel restaurant staff was helpful and went out of their way with a special request on the breakfast food bar.

Great location. Nice staff. My son loves the pool. A good, family-friendly hotel in a good location for access to the South County Area. Currently undergoing renovations.

The location and the ease/friendliness of the desk staff. The hotel did not ask loud guests to leave after security asked them to quiet down 3 times. The hotel overall was great. I have stayed here many times. There were many guests who decided to have a party in the hallway from midnight to well past three in the morning. The hotel security told them to quiet down three times; which the guests failed to do. Unfortunately the guests were not asked to leave the hotel, and we were not able to sleep.
