i have never been a big hoilday inn fan, but this one has me rethinking that position. the room was small but comfortable,at a good price. the staff was very attentive. my wife and i stopped there on the way to montreal, just to check out burlington. the hotel was right off the highway and only minutes from downtown burlington. so the location was great.the town is a fun place with a lot of nice restaurants and interesting shops. there is also a waterfront area on lake champlain with some beautiful views. we will surely visit burlinton again and i would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

There brochure states newly renovated but I don't know what was newly renovated. The room we had was two double beds. It was very small more than two people would be a crowd. The walls were banged up & dirty, there were dust balls hanging from the ceiling. The bath was ok but very small, it looked like they attempted to keep it clean & the shower was good. The beds were comfortable. The location is good, 10 minutes to downtown Burlington, 2 minutes to collage & right of I-89. The best part was the sliding glass door in our room, plenty of fresh air.

After a 4 day stay, I could not wait to get somewhere DRY. The floors/carpets were damp, the bedding, the towels, my clothes hanging and in drawers. No vents in the bathrooms, poor air circulation. Paper and cardboard items turned to mush. Sheets were damp when going to bed at night. I never felt dry in this hotel, be it in the room, the restaurant, the lobby, or hallways. I hated to walk barefoot in the room. My roommates feet started to peel after 2 days because they couldn't dry out. Bathing suits hung to dry, didn't. I did not lke the "indoor camping" feel of this hotel, and wonder what health concerns could arise from the lack of air circulation and constant dampness.

I've stayed here twice in the last year and I won't be back. I remember thinking after the first time that I wouldn't be back. I should have stuck to that pledge. Here's what I had a problem with: my room was hot when I entered it. I immediately looked at the thermostat and it was set to 50. I then had to open the slider to cool the room down. With the slider open had to get up in the middle of the night to close it only to wake up in the morning in a sweltering room. The tub drain was extremely slow so that by the end of my shower I was standing in ankle deep water. There was a long hair(not mine) on one of the towels. The minute you get off the elevator (I was on the 4th floor) I was hit with that classic stench of stale cigarette smoke masked by cleaning products that you usually don't, and shouldn't, smell in hotels these days.I won't be back...there are better choices in Burlington.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn in Burlington. Our room was clean and neat when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and we slept great! We enjoyed our dinner across the street at Friendly's. It was conveniently located and close to several other places such as Barnes and Noble, etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The price was affordable and the amenities were very good also.

This hotel is in a great location for Burlington and all of Vermont. We spent our day doing road trips around the state and our nights in the Church Street shops and restaurants. This hotel is the closest one to the colleges and very close and everything else you could need is no more than minutes away.

The Holiday Inn was great. The Airport is within a mile or so which makes it very convenient , and Lake Champlain is within three miles. I would definately stay there again . Very good value.

Was surprised to see the hotel had a restaurant, bar, pool, sauna, and fitness room. Fitness room equipment required some attention, other hotel guests were loud.

I have not had such a wonderful hotel experience before. Very centrally located - close to all sorts of fun and dining. My children loved the pool and we really enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. I would stay again and will probably next year in time for the Fair again. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Staff was couteous and helpful. All in all a great experience.

Warm and friendly atmosphere and staff. Very busy traffic corner, Difficult to walk to shopping areas across the street. Good location for my trip to Fletcher-Allen Hospital, including shuttle-bus service. Very nice room; TV movies were pricey @ $10. Nice staff and amenities; unfortunately, didn't get to use the pool or restaurant, but did use the workout room.

I had a wonderful Experience. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly! They gave me directions to all the local attractions, a list of the local music playing in town, and even a brief history lesson of Vermont!

I had a problem with my key card. It must have been weak or overly sensitive to magnatized materials and so it kept getting wiped clean and wouldn't open my door. I've never had this happen at any other hotel. One lady at the front desk was sort of accusative, blaming me, but a guy who helped me another time was very nice about it. Other than that I had no problems. It was a nice place although they could use a desk with a decent chair in the room, rather than chairs which are too low to use for working at the table.

It was nice to be accommodated with a later checkout. I was overall pleased with the hotel.
