Cute cottage, quiet and walking distance to the beach.

My daughter and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Silicon Valley on the last night of our 9 day trip to the west coast. Our room was very nice and very quiet. The staff at the airport were willing to help in multiple ways. First, we asked for information about local business and they gave us good advice along with directions and a map. Second, we wanted to drop off our rental car in the evening and have the hotel pick us up at the airport so that we wouldn't have to deal with the rental car in the morning. They were willing to do that and sent someone for us as soon as we called. Finally, the hotel had a shuttle service to the airport iin the morning and the driver was clearly well acquainted with the roads because, when the quickest highway to the airport from the hotel was closed due to an accident, he knew very efficient alternate routes to the airport and got us there in plenty of time for our flight.

Selected based on reviews, no parking fees, location. Excellent proximity to SJ Airport, SJ area, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, near Hwy 17 for Santa Cruz. Staff was welcoming; suggest that they have list of nearby churches/ service times for guests. I was referred to the Business Center for my own computer search. The Summit restaurant had very good food, attentive servers, and good prices. The room air conditioning was most welcome on hot days. Good location; busy during weekend--a wedding dinner, birthday party, and business meetings. Continental breakfast should be termed 24 hour coffee and tea available; muffins, cookies, and apples!

Cleanliness, location. They missed wake up call two days in a row. I did not get wake up call in two consecutive days. The excuse I was given was that several people were checking out at the same time so they skipped the wake up calls! However, the hotel general manager was very apologetic when I called her directly to complain.

Our team came to south San Jose for the roller hockey championships, and we were able to get free airport shuttle service and free shuttle to / from the Silver Creek Sports Complex. We saved a lot of money on gas, and the hotel had everything our family needed: restaurant, room service, free coffee and muffins, free internet, heated pool, workout / fitness room, etc. The free shuttle service was the best, especially because the van is large and we had all of our hockey gear. Thank you for a very nice stay; we'll be back sometime soon when we visit the Silve Creek Sportsplex!

The room quality was fine, but a few things that need improvement: Hot tub has odd paint that comes off on you when you are in it, our coffee maker had oatmeal residue inside, and the elevator felt like it was going to crash at one point ( They did send a technician right away to fix it). Should change out the bulbs for the driveway in the front of the hotel, (erie green glow at night that isnt particularly welcoming) Location is further from downtown than I expected (commute traffic really hurts). Restaurant isn?t attached, as pic may suggest

Kept the room well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Carpet needed to be replaced especially in the sink area. I lost a diamond earring and I am sure it was in the room since that is the only time I had it out of the case. I didn't realize it until the next day after I left and I called to report it. Of course, it wasn't located. So I am disappointed in the cleaning staff. The last night we were there it was extremely noisy due to a large group of teenagers running the halls all night and slamming doors. We complained to the front desk and they knew about it, so others had also complained.

My family had a wonderful experience at this hotel. They allowed us to check in early and were very efficient and quick about it. The room was beautiful! The bed had a down comforter and extra pillows and blankets. Room service was prompt and the food was fantastic! We were in town to attend the Gilroy Garlic Festival and we had a great time. I would definitely book with this hotel again! Thank you!

Beds had down comforters but TV was small and not up to par. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Staff was friendly; beds were comfortable with nice down comforters; TVs need upgrading as they were small and certain stations buzzed; convenient to have shuttle take you back and forth to roller hockey rink a couple miles away and the airport; restaurant was good for breakfast but expensive for dinner; disappointed with the internet as it was very slow, at best.

The room was fine. The restaurant menu was basically diner food. The hotel badly needs refurbishment. There was a problem with the internet access. It was poor value.

The room was clean and well furnished with very comfortable bed. Room service was extremely fast. Located at the southern end of Silicon Valley, by to highway 85 and 101 intersection. Quiet with pleasant hill views.

Clean, convenient. Mattress felt well used. This is an easy to locate hotel, very clean and quiet with good staff.

The staffs are just hanging around and just do nothing at all. Well, I can not say it was that great experience with that kind of staffs. And the hotel was too noisy

Parking was plentiful. Snotty staff and unkempt building. This was a highly over rated hotel. Light bulbs were missing, switches were broken, toilets didn't flush, and hallways were dirty. I am just thankful that I only had committed to one night. Too bad, cause it's a great location for south San Jose. This holiday inn was no holiday.

The quick service during the pool time I was at the door to get in the spa at 7AM they opened at 7:09 AM. Well there isn't much I didn't like but the wedding got out of hand and that isn't the hotels fault. We enjoyed the room it was roomy and comfortable for myself and my mom and both beds were well set for us to use with a lot of pillows which was great for my mom's back and my serious diabetes for walking distance and level for entering with my weak legs. Great for relaxing.

Beds were comfortable. Given a key to a room that had sleeping people in it, another room had party next to it. Room should not be assigned on the same floor as a loud wedding party. Security didn't do much about loud room parties.

All in all good stay for my business trip in san Jose. Nothing really negative to say. The hotel was ok but nothing really special, everything was as expected.

Location to the convention center. Easy access to highway. Parking at night, because there is a night club patrons taking the spaces. Nice located and very clean.
Date of Stay:

Convenience. Human hair on the bathroom floor and in shower, water faucet noise. Nice place, good location a little hard to find as the map for the hotel is in error as to placement via roadways for a new hotel, the water pipes are terribly noisy-bad construction.
