The manager, Mr. Weaks, was extremely kind and helpful during our stay. His staff is excellent! While the Holiday Inn Select of Winston-Salem may not be the most updated in the city, it is a hotel where the staff are attentive and the management solid. We had a great stay and would love to stay there again when we return in the fall.

Great value, very comfortable beds, and nice restaurant. I'm sure the workout room, pool and other areas are great but we didn't use them. I highly recommend this and would stay again anytime.

Very clean and staff was wonderful. I would have liked a complimentary breakfast of some kind. I was very pleased with the accommodations. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking lot was well lit with many doors to access your car/luggage without having to haul it through out the entire hotel. The pool was well lit and clean.

My daughter and I visited the area for our first time to visit universities and this hotel was absolutely perfect! Extremely comfortable, convenient location and the staff went over and above to make us feel comfortable. They made restaurant recommendations and gave us very good directions. The staff at this property is awesome! Kudos to the GM!

Very clean and very nice. Parking was somewhat inconvenient but still okay. Overall this hotel is very nice and very clean. I was very surprised when I entered it at how nice it was would stay there again.

I stayed here over a weekend for a friend's wedding. Upon checkout the staff member tried to charge me for a second time for a room I paid for in advance. She repeatedly used profanity during the exchange as I patiently tried to explain the situation to her. Throughout the entire exchange there was not one apology for the mixup or the use of expletives. This is the worst service I have ever observed at a hotel and I am a frequent traveller. I would recommend staying at one of other hotels in the same area.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The ice maker on our floor did not work, and the toilet was difficult to flush.

Very friendly gentleman at counter for check in and hot coffee in the lobby in the am. In room coffee was inside a cabinet, and couldn't actually be used because of it's location. We stayed for only one night, and did not used any of the amenities. PRO, The gentleman who checked us in was exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and attractive. Free wireless internet. Coffee in the lobby right by the door was easy to grab on my way out. Con- The in room coffee pot was inside the entertainment center and impossible to pull out and use. The bed was not quite supportive enough for my back.

Not convenient to dining. Room was clean and up to date. Bed excellent with several pillows marked with different firmness, a first for me. A robe was provided. I stayed in places for double the price that were not any better.

Decent hotel with nice bedding. Hotel was okay - nothing special but good for a night's rest. This hotel was good - nothing fancy but nothing horrible either. The rooms were clean and the bedding was good.

Close to 52 and easy access - rooms were fine - nice gym. It was just OK - pool wasnot working - staff wasnot very helpful - just OK. Was just fine for what I needed with not many frills - staff was OK not overly helpful and or friendly - I had to knock on the back door to check in - easy to get to - plenty of food and shopping near by - not far from Downtown. Room had a fridge and free WiFi that worked well - the gym was nice. For the money it was just fine.

Price, free internet access, close to expressway, close to stores. Old, no microwave or frig in room, small lumpy pillows. Staff gave us the wrong room. Had to change rooms at night. Next day, card key didn't work, blamed me. Very poor staff. Will not stay there again.
