Date of Stay: August, 2008

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have always been impressed with the quality of service. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel appears to be a little older. This is very apparent in the bathrooms, but they were adequate for my needs. The restaurant in the hotel serves a great breakfast buffet in the morning. The hotel is also right off the LBJ Freeway in Dallas, TX, but my room was quiet and I did not hear any outside noises.

Nothing. Mold! Building has water leaks not repaired. Building has severe mold smell with water leaks not repaired. Women at front desk very very rude. She must love her job.

It was an ""OK"" hotel. It states it was recently renovated. It didn't seem like it, just a few updates. Ovreall it was your average 3 star. No microwave or fridge in the room and no hard wired internet connection in the rooms. If you have wireless you are fine. It seemed more like a dormatory. Lots of young guests talking loudly in the halls and hanging out in the halls. The staff was super friendly and helpful though.

The Holiday in select was a exactly what I was looking for in our stay. I was completely in love with the bed. I wished that I could take it home. The bathroom was a little small, but it was equiped with everything I could have needed. Although we only stayed overnight, it would have been accomodating for a longer stay. The location of the hotel was accessible to the Highway. I loved the fact that there was an indoor/outdoor pool. I love to swim, so that was appealing to me. Overall I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Liked everything about it. Checked out payed cash for room cashier said not charged to debit card checked bank statementI got charged twice. Hotel was greatI liked it I 'll go back, quits debiting my card even if I pay cash so it won't show up in my statement twice I have to dispute the charges.

The Holiday Inn Select (Galleria) was overall a very nice hotel. The room was wonderful with a king size bed which was very comfortable. Check-in and out were a breeze. I would stay here again.

The bedding was marvelous. Haven't slept that well in a hotel bed in years. The food was horrendous. The service in the restaurant was slower than mud, and NO ONE was EVEN THERE!! What would they have done had their been a crowd. We tried to order room service. They were very prompt, but, weren't terribly bright. coffee for two...cups for one. Whirlpool was broken down and no one could fix it. They wouldn't put up a sign. Kept saying its fixed, its fixed. Obviously they didn't put their toe in the water. It had jets alright...pouring out water at about 67 degrees. No thank you. Shuttle service was great and staff were friendly, but do yourself a favor and use the shuttle to eat outside the hotel. UGH.

I waited for nearly an hour at the airport for the complimentary shuttle. I telephoned the hotel three times. The receptionist said the shuttle would be there in ten minutes and was on it's way. So many other hotel shuttles went around twice.Another receptionist called David took over the shift and said the shuttle was nearly there. I asked how would I identify it. He said it would be the Holiday Inn Select North and it was a white van. Sure enough one came along. The driver didn't indicate where he was going nor did he ask where I was going. Four disgruntled flight crew from US airways were on board and they said they too gad been waiting an hour for the shuttle. The shuttle took me to the wrong Holiday Inn Select North!The receptionist where I was dropped off said it often happens because the vans aren't distinctive! The manager of that hotel was very polite and eventually wanted to order me a taxi.The van from the LBJ Freeway hotel came to pick me up. I was already very late for my business appointment and my stay was spoiled.

I could take my dog. There was no mention of the $50 pet fee until I got there. The front desk staff was rude both times I needed them, one of them was upset she had to get off her cell phone to help me. In the gift shop the attendant never got off her cell phone to help me. Restaurant & bar close too early. This property is very dated.

Accessible and affordable. Visible from freeway but it took some exploring to arrive. This facility is solid and mid-range for economy-minded travelers. It has an ample range of amenities for a wide range of interests, seminars, school groups, or individuals.

The maid service was wonderful and they were very friendly. No mini fridge, no microwave, bathroom rusty, ceiling tiles old in hallways. I was disappointed in this Holiday Inn. The room had no mini fridge, microwave, the ceiling tiles in the hallways were old and worn. The bathroom were rusted on the door hinges and bath tub fixtures. But the maid service was wonderful, they were very accommodating and friendly.

The space in the room. Jet tub that did not work. The staff was very friendly, and the room had lots of space. There was a dead bug in one of the chairs, and another dead bug in the bathroom. The jet tub did not function, which I didn't know till I had run the water. When getting in the tub to soak, I noticed brown scum coming out of the jets, which had obviously not been cleaned for a while. I had to get out, drain the tub and take a shower. There was also no steam vent in the bathroom, and the jet tub control turned on the sunlamp.
