I had a terrible experience at the holiday inn . All they had for parking was a parking lot across the street and after 7:00 in the evening they have no attendants. I had knee replacement surgery so I parked in a handicap parking area. The next morning the front desk called my room and told me there had been several breakends to the cars during the night. They broke my drivers door window out and stole my GPS and some tapes and went through my car. I was with my two grandchildren to watch a 4H day at Cardinal stadium. I had to drive back to Decatur Illinois where I live without a window and I still have piecs of glass in my car. I would never stay there again .There parking accomidations are terible. JUdy Moyer

People were very friendly. 15$ parking shower and door nob were always getting stuck. Very close to bush stadium were we went for vacation.

At check in the computer systems were down; however, the front desk attendant insisted the system was not down even after 4 different credit cards from four different individuals was denied. Her solution was to direct us to an ATM and pay in cash to receive a room key and check in even though we are "priority" guests; whatever that might mean. However, I do know that it does mean that this lady would have our information in the system and if we did try and leave without paying, they would be able to bill us at our home address. Additionally, our room was not ready until after 10:00PM and was moldy, wet and unacceptable for any person to stay the night in. Later in our stay we decided to enjoy the indoor pool for a few minutes. Upon arrival, we found no towels, trash and used linens on every chair in the pool area. After cleaning our own area ourselves to set our things on my wife decided to go to the 9th street bar for an appetizer. She placed her order, was told 10-15 minutes and proceeded to wait 35 minutes only to receive cold food that was barely palatable. Needless to say, we are not returning and informing others to stay elsewhere.

The hotel was OK for the money. Small pool, hot tub not operating, Had to park car at nearby garage and had to pay $15.00 per day for parking which totaled an additional $45.00 to my bill. Also had to have parking ticket validated everytime I left with my car. Big Hassel! My next stay in St Louis I'll try to find a hoted with parking included even if it costs a little more money.

I enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. I also appreciated the help of the security agent. Parking. I believe I got my money's worth with the reservation.

I reviewed my bank accounts a week after staying here and had $ in extra charges on my account that the hotel couldn't account for. The hotel wasn't that great overall and this was the clincher.

We were pleasantly surprised by this metro/city hotel conveniently located and value priced. While it was a few blocks from city center and many blocks from our primary destinations--Scotttrade Center and Busch Stadium--walking to both was possible plus the hotel had a shuttle availabe (in addition to shuttle's running for the Women's Final Four tourny). The front desk staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. We experienced excellent service several times in the bar/restaurant, including being seated and served 10 minutes before closing our first night.

Safe feeling, quite, shuttle service available. Location too far from Busch Stadium to walk at night. Only one night stay and took in a Cardinals game. Hotel was adequate for our need.

I would never stay at this hotel again, and only stayed here because I was attending a function where most of the people were staying at the hotel. The room was clean and newly re-modeled, but the hallways by the vending areas were nasty. The shower head was too low, water hit me mid-chest (and I am only 5ft.9in. tall!). The hot tub area was disgusting... they could use a new hot tub! The inner rooms are situated to look onto the pool / hot tub area. The weekend I was staying there was also a large family reunion in the building. The group that I was with also had a hospitality suite reserved for one of our events... we had to change our own light bulbs because some were burned out. The internet wi-fi signal was poor in the suite. One of the cleaning ladies was being yelled at by her supervisor to clean faster... My boyfriend asked the cleaning lady for some towels after the incident (so she wouldn't have to clean our room because I was laying down / not feeling well) - this was between 3:30 - 4PM and she still hadn't gotten to our room yet. She sounded very flustered, tired and over-worked and said that she had to clean 19 rooms today alone where people had checked out

The Holiday Inn Select was very comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The location to the convention center was superb. The breakfast was nothing to be desired.

The Hotel was under renovations when we arrived. The staff was very friendly. The parking was weird and not on the property. The Priceline website said the hotel was 4 of a mile it was more like 1.4 miles. We made the best.

This hotel is located just a few blocks from the housing projects. NO SECURITY at the hotel. Not a desirable place to stay if you can avoid it. The front desk staff was very rude. I guess she was upset because of the couple complaining how their car was broken into on the hotels parking lot over night and the car window was smashed out. And she said the hotel is not responsible. Our 1st room was not cleaned when they gave us a key, we called down to tell the front desk and she said we would have to come down and get another key for another room. I suggested they meet us in the 1st room with the new key and she said she could not do that. I believe the rudeness of the hotel employees comes from the top, if they don't have good supervision from the managers why should they be friendly (That is only my opinion) We asked to speak with the General Manager and he was never available. Needless to say we cut our trip short and went home a few days early. What an awefull Vacation! I could go on forever but I only get 300 words on this review.

Great hotel. The only complaint was the pool and hot tub closing at 9pm. For the price I expected a mini-fridge.

Me and a group of about 7 of my friends decided to get a hotel in St. Louis for Mardi Gras. The weeks previous to our stay the women who booked our rooms called and got nothing but rude staff who would not help her. The breakfast was $10.95 and the worst breakfast i have ever had. We all arrived back to the hotel around 5pm on sat. and went down to a grill that was in the lobby. I was not able to stay for the whole meal but the service at the grill was also bad. When my friends got back to the rooms they had brought me my food to go. I called down to the desk to ask for a fork, some towels, and a toothbrush which we had asked for 24 hours ago and still never got. The lady who answered my call decided to tell me that there were no more toothbrushes and that if i wanted a fork that I should go down to the grill and get it my self. I informed her i wanted to talk to a manager. She said her manager was busy and that she was trying to deal with a hotel full of drunk people. NO EXCUSE. the manager came up to our room and told me I was being abusive to her staff and that if I had one more complaint about anything in her hotel she would kick us out. I informed her about her staff not helping at all during the weeks previous and the duration of the stay. She proceeded to tell me that we were problem guests and that she can tell we were trouble. I left that day and did not stay till sun like was planned.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was good and in close proximity to downtown and the Arch. On the other hand the hospitality of the personnel was lacking. It felt as if we were trying to pull information out of her when it came to any type of information including assistance with a shuttle to the arch. At check out it was too difficult for her to keep the parking fees on my debit card so we ended up paying in cash. She was unable to take care of us and answer the phone that was ring, in other word unable to multitask and definitely lacked professionalism. If it weren't for that the stay was ok.

Very friendly staff, courteous & prompt. Maid was awesome! Pool in center of hotel, kids screaming not peaceful. Shuttle service was very nice. Staff was very courteous and prompt. Very down to earth people. Rooms were big and bed was extremely comfortable. Very good place for families. Not a lot of time in pool without many kids yelling and splashing if you wanted to have quiet time in the pool. Overall great experience.

I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the Edward Jones center. When me and a few of my business partners had a break for lunch we went to the rest. in my hotel. The service was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Maybe they were not expecting such a crowd and were overwhelmed I'm not sure but this year we will try eating someplace else.

The location to my meeting was very close, just about oe block. It was also very close to downtown but downtown shops are very limited at this time. The breakfast was rather expensive for the but comparable to the other hotels. For the value, it was very good.

It is close to downtown area. No free parking. A good place to stay.
