The Holiday Inn Select in Clinton, NJ is a great value. The hotel is clean and well decorated both in the guest rooms and in the common areas. I've never been able to eat at the restaurant but it appears quite upscale. Breakfast prices (even room service) are very reasonable. The hotel features and indoor swimming pool (and a wirlpool spa) and a well equiped fitness center. The make a real effort to make you feel at home, if fact their motto is Welcome Home. I visit this area every 6 weeks and I wouldn't stay anyplace else.

Very clean and neat. Somewhat noisey due to ballroom two floors below. Exceptionally good in almost all respects. Slightly annoyed at the boom-boom noise coming from ballroom. However, it did not keep me awake. Staff courtesy was excellent.

Loud music late into the night blaring from bar. Terrible. Was given last and worst room above bar with blaring music until 2 am.

Location, hot cookies. Non-smoking room smelled like fresh smoke. Non-smoking room smelled like fresh smoke. They allow smoking in rooms right next to non-smoking rooms. Shower and sink clogged and filled up with water.

Common areas were very nice. Expensive considering how far it was from East Coast attractions. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable, this is a good place. It's quite a drive to any major East Coast attractions but if you have business in the Clinton area, it's a good place to stay. Typical for East Coast, it is pretty pricy.

The lobby area is very nice looking and there is a night club. It did not have anything to eat for a person on an alternative diet. It was nice, quiet, the staff was very nice. We found that we needed a fridge and they sent one up to our room with no problem. The girl that does the fixing of anything knew what she was doing. It is a nice place to stay.

Conveniently located in a delightful town with nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and all amenities needed. Heating/air conditioning not stable. We loved our stay and would recommend it to everyone.

A great pool - spacious and well groomed. They promised cookies in the evening - none available. It is a good value. Clinton is a cute town for a weekend getaway. Quiet and clean. Nice breakfast room.

Clean, bright, friendly. Was not sat us at the restaurant or offered a menu. Paid $12 for an English muffin on the buffet. Needs better restaurant service. No one sat us for breakfast or offered a breakfast menu. I was not feeling well so I only had an English muffin from the buffet but was charged the full $12 buffet cost. Had to ask the waitress twice for coffee. Hot water was being repaired when we arrived after driving 9 hours. I really wanted to take a shower before meeting friends in Clifton. The front desk apologized for the inconvenience. It was not a big problem, but a breakfast voucher as compensation would have been nice.

Out of the way without seeming remote. Showing a little age. I've stayed here several times while driving to my daughter's college. After a 14 hour drive we appreciate exceedingly friendly and helpful staff, always knowledgeable about places to eat and see in Clinton. Large indoor pool. Very quiet hotel for a somewhat large facility. Great cookies, too.

Excellent and spacious room. Slow elevators. This was much better than expected. Room was more like a suite than a double room. Liked the fact that the room had two televisions in separate spaces.

Did not go and would not refund my money. Never called me back. I was disappointed. The scrap booking weekend was cancelled. I called the hotel left message and they never called back. E-mailed hotel and they never responded. I was extremely disappointed!

Spacious room size. Light bulbs @ bedside lamp not working. Nice hotel, neat, friendly, always looked very inviting no matter what time we came or went out.
