I would suggest asking for a map of the city at the front desk. They will also suggest places to eat.

Hotel is within 15 min walk of the belt line restaurants and 10 min from Space Needle. Quiet and clean. good value for downtown Seattle.

Good Hotel. Stayed one night to leave on cruise next day. Good location. Blocks from many city sights. Across the street is a cute little park. If you are going on a cruise, the hotel is about 5 miles from pier 30 even closer to pier 66.

We chose this hotel because we were able to save $$ as it was included in a package. Although we were part of a group we discovered that the group hotel was within .5 miles so decided the $$ savings was worth some walking. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this facility. The staff was most gracious. The room was very clean, quiet and up to date. In fact we felt it was a better quality hotel than the one used by our group. We would definitely stay here again!

This location let me sight see without the need of a vehicle. I walked everywhere - and I love to walk. I felt comfortable everywhere I went.

I liked the staff at this hotel that they were very helpful.

We stayed just one night before we went on a cruise. The hotel helped us arrainge transportation to the hotel and help with our bags (all 11 of them!) When we got to the hotel I had somehow written the wrong number of children (1 instead of 3) and when we go there our room didn't have enough beds. The staff was so nice to change the room out - without charge. Also, the restaurant was "kids eat free" and included all three children - a huge benefit for a big family! Finally, the airlines had lost one of our bags and the staff was very helpful in trying to get the bag to us before we left on a cruise. We were very pleased with the friendliness!

Used hotel as a one night stay, on either side of a 8 day cruise out of Seattle Wa. Was able to get a room well before check in time, which our party of four appreciated after leaving the ship at 10am. We also went to Seattle Aqurium for a couple of hours. Had bad experiance getting Orange Cab Company to this hotel. Gave up after 45 minutes and called Yellow Cab. Emerald Grill, next door and which is affiliated with Hotel, had great tasting food and good service.

I liked the mini-kitchen. The business center internet connection was slow. The hotel was in a great location. The parking situation was not ideal, but what would be expected in a large city. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel was very good overall. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was pretty good - an easy walk to the Space Needle and other downtown sites were walkable too, although a little bit of a hike. We were able to park right on the street in front of the hotel everyday and saved some money that way instead of paying the hotel daily parking fees. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

I was here on a business trip with ample time for pleasure also. The room I was in had 2 queen size beds and was relatively spacious. The bathroom was small. TV was standard tube TV and 32" I believe. The top floor had a complimentary breakfast for only top floor guests, but the breakfast is sparse and contains no more than cereal, minimal fruit and pastries, yogurt, OJ, and coffee. No wi-fi in the rooms, but wired high-speed internet provided in the rooms. I believe there is wi-fi in the lobby and downstairs restaurant.

The location was great and the staff was more helpful then I've experienced anywhere else.

Staff was great w/directions and very friendly. 3 minute walk to Space Needle and Duck Tour and free city bus to Pike's Market. 10-15 minute walk to Pike's Market. Hotel clean and comfy beds. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and very reasonable for Seattle. Cab from airport was 33.00.

We went to Seattle for a weekend getaway. This Holiday Inn was modern, the room was easily half again as large as a normal hotel room. Easy walking distance to downtown, Seattle Centre and the Pikes Market, and central to the things we went there to see and do. We were there on Valentine's Day and I hadn't thought about making dinner reservations. After searching for a place to eat, it was looking more like dinner was going to be a bag of chips. But the restaurant at the hotel had room for us and the dinner was every bit as good as the high-end places that were filled up. The nightly rate was low and we weren't expecting much more than warm & dry, but it turned out to be a tremendous value. We'll be back.

Roomy suite, swift service checking in and out. Charged $10 daily for parking, with no warning about that. It's an average Holiday Inn. In the fixed price listing for this hotel, when Holiday Inn charges an extra $10 daily premium to use their parking.

this is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. we chose to stay here again because it is very clean and close to shopping/down town. there is a lot to do in this area.
