The staff were wonderful. The hotel was booked, but as soon as they were available, the staff moved us to a non-smoking room, and we were pleased.

Older facility. Rooms do not have an outside view,the window faces a hallway. Bathroom was very small. Location was convenient to interstate highways.

I travel to Scranton every few weeks for work, and they host their meetings at this hotel. This most recent time, I decided to stay over because we had a few meetings in a row there. The rooms were great! I enjoyed the new duvet bedding that they had in their rooms. I like seeing white bedding and being able to see that it is clean. The cable had a good selection, and you can order movies in the room if you wanted to. The room was also very clean, and I did not notice anything out of place. The hotel also has a great atrium which gives this hotel a different feel then most that I have stayed at. After my meeting, I went to the hot tub. It was huge. It can probably fit close to twenty people in it. I went to dinner in their restaurant. They had a Prime Rib special which was so worth the price. During my entire stay the front desk staff was great! They really helped me find my way around since I only usually get off the highway and get right back on when I come here for a one day meeting. Also, I was excited that they had free internet in the hotel because most places charge for it. This is a great place to stay, and I am planning on staying there again for a ski weekend later this month.

My husband and I and our 5 year old daughter stayed one night April 19 2008. If any Moms out there are germafobes like me, this hotel is not for you! The room was filthy and the sheets on one of the beds were dirty. My daughter was covered in bites from head to toe the next day! Disgusting! She didnt complain until we were on our way home which was a 4 hour drive. I called as soon as we got home and was told to call the next day and speak to the manager. I called the main holiday inn line first, then called the manager. He was nothing but rude. He told me he cant believe that she got those bites from his hotel, noone else has complained. When I asked if they have a pet policy and he said NO, but later found out that was untrue. I now have to take my daughter to the doctor because the bites are so bad and terrible looking. He did say that they would pay for the doctor but would only refund us 30 percent because we didnt call until late Sunday night. Like I said it was a 4 hour drive. We are still waiting for Holiday Inn to give us satisfaction, we will see.

Pool and courtyard weregreat. This hotel was great for a quick getaway with my wife. As a frequent business traveler I could definitely see myself staying there. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The Penne ala Vodka was among the best I have ever had. The open courtyard with pool was an unexpected plus.

My family and I had a great weekend. My son loved the pool, we had a hard time getting him out. My wife and I enjoyed the jacuzzi right next to the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. We will be back!

Other hotels were booked, so I thought we would try this one. Never again. Location not well marked, took about 1 hour to find the hotel. Staff was not helpful in giving directions on the phone. There is a nice new part, we were assigned to an old non-renovated wing that was smelly, dirty, and seemed unsafe. We were stuck in a smoking room, and you could tell. Throw back to the 70's! Power went out soon after getting access to room. Was this the ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE wing? Couldn't wait to get out of there. The wireless internet did work well.

This was the only motel we could find anywhere near the ballpark because of a concert nearby. It is not very convenient to anything. At check-in the person was on the phone on a lengthy call making a reservation. Another person was wandering about behind the desk, but didn't help. You are pretty much a captive to the restaurant in the motel and they were out of pancake and waffle batter. Pool and hot tub were fine.

This hotel room was exremely dirty and smelly, Everything needs to be improved. The room had residues of the last guests as if no one made an attempt to clean it.

Hotel policy: people with pets go on 2nd fl. in the back. Room was disgusting! Filthy carpets, animal order, wallpaper peeling, nail pops in the walls, black marks on the sheets. Hotel was replacing carpeting, parts of carpet left in a pile (a tripping hazard) and work tools (blades) left open on floor.

Room did not smell. I didn't like the location too much, kind of hidden. This hotel stay was great. The room smelled like clean laundry and had a microwave and fridge which was awesome because I have a 1 year old, shall I say we also had Wi-Fi. The location was not so bad, it is kind of hidden but it's close to the highway exit and you do have to do a little driving to get to the Mall or shopping centers. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

Room service was delicious and the staff here was superb. Clerk who checked us in was rude. Sent us to a room under construction and gave us a smoking room! Hotel was great. Front desk staff was a disgrace! We arrived at 2:45, clerk didn't look up and yelled check in is at 3:00. When we did check in after 4, clerk sent us to a room under construction. We finally got a smoking room (we requested non-smoking) with double beds (we requested king).

Great staff, wonderful food. We enjoyed our stay and had no problems. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Any room supplies needed were given with no question which I have found untrue in other hotels.

Lobby clean and the swimming pool/hot tub area pleasant to eye. Room was smoking and requested non-smoking and the hotel check-in staff not friendly or helpful. Bathroom shower curtain had black mildew/mold on it and there was black mildew/mold around the base of the toilet. The toilet also rocked when you sat down. I called the desk and they said they could not clean/fix that night but if I put out the do not disturb sign on the door the next morning, cleaning staff would know there was a special request. We came back from the races at 7:45, the room had been tidied and cleaned, but the black mold was still on the shower curtain and around the toilet. We went to dinner in the hotel restaurant and service was very slow. After 5 minutes of sitting at a table we heard the bartender call out to get someone to come to look after us. We ordered and after 10 minutes she came back with menus in hand and said they did not have what we ordered. We reordered and after 15 minutes she came out with our order. I asked for BBQ sauce to go with the chicken strips and she never did bring them. When she brought our bill she looked at me eating the chicken strips and said oh, I am sorry I forgot about your sauce. Very poor service as there were very few customers needing service, but the food was good. Upon leaving the restaurant, I stopped at the front desk to ask why the mildew/mold was not cleaned around the toilet and a new shower curtain installed. The older lady then said, oh dear that is not good. Since this is your second time you have told us about this problem, we will ensure that it is put on the list and looked after tomorrow they did not even offer to have someone come and clean.

Nice pool and fitness room. Room service a bit pricey. This was a nice hotel for a family to stay at while on a vacation. It is a bit tough to get to if you are not from the area as it may be confusing and difficult to back track if you miss your exit. The pool and hot tub were staler, and the fitness room will appeal to anyone who finds it to be a must while traveling. The food was good from their room service menu, although the price was a bit on the high side. We stayed in the suite with a whirl pool tub which was nice, although overpriced for what it provides. Overall I find the hotel to be a good stay for the money, as long as it fits into your budget.

Convenient. I arrived after 4:00 and they did not have a room available. Manager had to go through roster to find a vacant room. This hotel to set up like an indoor motel. I'm not comfortable with my window facing the public. No privacy if I wanted to open my curtains. But the hotel lobby areas are tropical like and nicely decorated.
