The hotel was there as soon as we crossed the Blue Water Bridge. iT WAS A GREAT LOCATION GIVEN OUR NEPHEW'S HOCKEY TOURNAMENT WAS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT ARENAS THROUGHOUT DOWNTOWN sARNIA.

No free breakfast. We love staying here with great rooms, excellent staff, a pool and close to my mom and the casino.

Staff wasvery friendly. Pool was a little cold. We stayed at this hotel over Christmas and found the staff to be very attentive. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurant onsite, and the proximity to most things we needed. Onsite laundry was also a plus for us, since we have a small child.

Exceptional staff, good location, nice workout room andnice lounge. Rooms were just average but clean. Room service food was cold. Overall a good experience.

Convenient. Very noisy. Hotel was filled with young hockey players and their families. Starting early in the morning continuing all day the halls will filled with hockey practice in the halls, meetings and running around in between.

It was far too expensive, double what it was worth.

The staff was really great and very accommodating. We had to have a special key to get to our floor, which was an inconvenience, when we had guests come to our suite. It is a very nice hotel, but very spread out. Be prepared to walk.

Front desk staff was awesome. Restaurant/room service rude and abrupt. Room was clean - not fancy, but fine. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. We had a guest from another room join us in ours and there was a misunderstanding with where he ordered his pizza. I thought it was from room service. I called to see if they could re-direct his pizza to our room and they said that if the guest was not in the room to receive the pizza it would be given away. I asked what they meant by given away and she told me that the kitchen staff would eat it. I asked her to have them re-direct it to my room. I was then told "Ma'am, I have a line up here." It turns out he didn't get the pizza from the hotel, but she didn't know that and didn't investigate it, very abrupt and rude. The next morning (Monday morning) we went to the restaurant for breakfast. We were seated at 10:45 a.m. and told that we could only have a limited breakfast menu at this point because they stop serving the full breakfast at 11:00. It was 10:45. We told our waitress that we came especially for the eggs benedict. She hastily and reluctantly ordered them for us. The entire time we felt like it was a hassle for her to serve us. She got a bit friendlier after we placed our orders, but as we had more people join us, her demeanor returned. A real put-off.

The desk staff was very pleasant. Dishes for the room next door sat in the hall for almost 24 hours. The two-level (older) section was clean, adequate, but nothing exceptional; perhaps the new tower section would have been more rewarding. The restaurant set high goals with an up-scale, pricey menu. The location is great for travelers using the Blue Water Bridge or visiting the casino. The desk staff was very pleasant.

The restaurant. Room cleanliness was poor. I was told I would be receiving a bar fridge etc. in the room so I brought cold food to put in it and when I got there I got the bad part of the hotel and I feel bad for the people who pay full price for these rooms. The lights didn't go on when you first clicked the switch, the door was jammed when we tried to enter our room. The heater was very loud. Also, the carpet people above us started really early and disturbed our sleep and they were smoking marijuana outside the hotel door and it would be kept open so anyone could really come inside the hotel. We called the front desk to complain about the bar fridge and she didn't help us at all. Restaurant was nice but very pricy. $10 dollars for a Caesar salad? I think that's a little ridiculous. I was expecting a nice romantic stay but it was more like a headache.

We arrived fairly late and the staff was pleasant and helpful-we even got a drink just before closing. Staff was friendly and well-trained. Trying to get to it in the midst of construction was a challenge. Great place to stay if you're going to Western Michigan or Chicago and don't want to deal with bridge traffic after a long trip from Upstate New York. A pleasant surprise for a weary traveler with a friendly no-hassle staff, nicely decorated rooms, and a town that is starting to change to a tourist destination.
