Beds were comfortable Access to the hotel and its rooms was very awkward

This was an amazing stay, the room was perfect. It was clean, and cozy. No better value for your buck if you're are going to stay in San Jose. The only thing that could be improved is the "lightning fast" internet but it was adequate for surfing the web and checking e-mail. Overall I would stay there again, as well as recommend it to others. I have stayed in 5 star hotels as well as dingy little dives. This was on par with some of the nicer places. The staff there was also great, very professional.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our way to a wedding and it made for a great pit-stop. Our room wasn't spacious, but we were able to change from a standard two queen-size bed room to a king on check-in and were really happy with the result. The bed was big and comfortable while the layout left enough for two people to move around. The free wireless internet was much appreciated as was the large table with easy-to-access outlets where we could set up our laptops. We opted not to eat in the empty dining area with it's somewhat noisy bar (there was an NBA playoff game on) but got directions from staff to a nearby strip mall where we had a number of good eat-in dining options. Because the hotel is near the airport, there isn't much around except for business parks but food and other amenities were a quick drive away. For a quick stop-over, we were very satsified and we would definitely stay here again when we're in the neighborhood!

Hotel was nice and clean especially for the amount we paid! Drinks in hotel bar were overpriced and a small tv for sports. The courtyard and pool yard were nice, peaceful and beautiful. It was easy to relax and read outside near the pool area. It was a clean and nice hotel with a nice fitness room.

The staff were all friendly & courteous. I do appreciated the shuttle driver's promptness. I surely would recommend the place. Clean & pleasant staff:)

The entire building (#5) smelled like mold and mildew, the internet connection was slower than dial-up, and I could not use my calling card from my room because they don't let you dial an 800 number from your room. When I called the Front Desk about using my calling card, the lady said, "just dial 9 first". That's what I had been doing. When I called the second time, I got the manager on duty (X). He said they don't allow calls to 800 numbers from your room and told me to use the pay phone in the lobby. It took me about two hours to find another hotel nearby, and then I cancelled my stay at the Holiday Inn. They gave me a hard time about not letting them put me in a different room, but at that point I just wanted out of there. They said they would have to charge me a late cancellation fee. I'm waiting to see if it shows up on my credit card.

The price was reasonable. There was some freeway noise; not enough blankets. The room was satisfactory.

I was there last week on business. Great staff all around. The front desk, bell desk, maintenance and restaurant. The security lock on my door was gone-maintenance was at my room w/in 20 minutes to fix. Great food at the restaurant-ate lunch and dinner there; tastiest hotel food I've had in quite awhile. Will definitely stay here again. Loved the minivan too and from the airport-much more of a personal feel that a crusty old econoline van.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with our daughters and it was awful! An entire basketball team showed up that weekend and some got thrown out because they were so disruptive. I wish i would have known when i called the hotel that morning. Small detail. The pool was hot and kinda murky, and not very enjoyable. The noise level in the hallways was unbearable. I wanted to drive back home and call it a night. We changed hotels first thing in the morning. We now call it "The Ghetto Inn

It was clean, comfortable, convenient and cost effective. Nothing to say.

The room was large, comfortable, and a geat value for the price. Its deceiving since the outside and elevators look so dated. The bedding was extremely comfortable, again a lot better than I expected for the price.

I am sure when this facility was new, it was excellent. However, it needs major renovation. My room had no internet or phone connection on the desk. There was not even an outlet for the desk phone. Beside the bedside table, there were holes in the wall where it appeared there was a project started, but not completed. On the positive side, the staff was excellent. They were courteous and very professional.

This place got mixed reviews and rightfully so. The rooms don't feel dated but the facility did... like a college dorm. Proximity to the airport is great. The worst part came when we learned breakfast wasn't included, which I should have researched, but for nearly two benjamins you'd think they'd include that. When I checked in, they suggested I go to the hotel's website next time. I burned * using an online travel website and they wouldn't guarantee our non-smoking room because of it. Decent if you have to avoid a morning commute to the airport.

Location to work site was great. Location of TV and room size. For the price I got it seems comparable to a Comfort Inn or one in that class. I have stayed at Holiday Inn's before and had been very pleased but this one missed the mark by a mile.

Service and location were all good. Too close to the freeway.

I like the balcony with table and chairs. The parking / amenities for price of hotel not matching. This is not your typical Holiday Inn.

"Worst hotel staff ever encountered. Rude and unhelpful. Asked for a non-smoking room, but gave me a smoking room. When I complained about the smell, offered to spray the room instead of changing me to a different room. When I asked to speak to a manager, the problem employee pretended to be the manager! Unbelievable!"

Very clean, neat and comfortable - lots of pillows. Can't think of anything. I was traveling with my 14-year old daughter so clean and safe were the priorities. We were happy with both areas. The hotel was very comfortable and the room was wonderful. The first time I've been to a hotel and had too many pillows on the bad - that's a good problem!
