Good hotel, good location to the Metro station. Could have used a casual dining room instead of just the fancy 17th floor restaurant /bar.

Close proximity to the Metro and free hotel parking.

Great location, just a short walk to the metro. The room was spacious and clean with a great balcony view of Georgetown. Customer service everwhere was excellent. They were happy to accomodate our housekeeping requests and stored our luggage until our evening flight out. The buffet breakfast is free to Priority Club members, so make sure you join before your trip. Kids eat free. After 8:45 am or so, breakfast was quite crowded with wait for tables, especially on the weekend, so it paid to get there early. The pool was very small, but the kids enjoyed it fine, and there was a lifeguard. The only negative was the small variety of restaurants within walking distance. Eat before you come back late from sightseeing. I highly recommend this hotel for families who plan to use the metro and want something more affordable than the downtown hotels.

Highly recommended Hotel. Helpful staff, nice facilities, good location. Our room was nice. Only fault was a somewhat cramped bathroom, but I consider this a fairly minor fault. This motel is about a 1/4 mile from the Metro station giving great access to many of the sights we wanted to see without having to drive and hassle with traffic and parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Staff very helpful and gave excellent restaurant and nightlife recommendations. Easy access to the metro that takes you anywhere in DC. Within walking distance of convenience store, and great restaurants.

the location is very close t the metro. we only stayed one night, so it was fine for what we needed. they had been working on the road right outside and had recently placed a metal grate on the road. Every time a car went over it, you heard the thumping sound. I didn't sleep well because of it. If we had stayed longer,I might have asked for a room on the other side of the hotel.

We stayed there on our trip to D.C. for the Fourth of July. Location was convenient to Rosslyn Metro station. Signed up as priority club memeber and received discounts on meals in Vantage Point Restaurant on top floor. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending sites to see and things to do. Also had free parking which was great since we took Metro everywhere. Also convenient location to Georgetown. Room was smaller than others I have stayed in but was adequate for family of 4. Indoor pool was ok, water temp was colder than I would have liked but relaxing after long day of sight seeing. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for staying and visiting the D.C. area.

The hotel was comfortable and a good value given the market pricing. It is very close to the Metro which made our sight seeing trips into DC easy and cheap. We had to do a non-refundable prepay which was okay but they tried to up the price on one our two rooms at check out. We felt this was an outrageous violation of our agreement and amounted to an additional $220 over an eight night stay. Needless to say we refused to pay the additional charge but it was a hassle we didn't need early in the morning with a long travel home day ahead. It spoiled the overall good feeling we had experienced during our stay.

After spending months reading A LOT of reviews and looking at other hotels in the surrounding DC area, my fiance and I finally selected Holiday Inn @ Key Bridge. This hotel was perfect and was definitely the right choice! Great location, subway is literally a 3 minute walk from hotel. When we were planning the trip we questioned the safety of the area. We were shocked by the cleanliness and safety of the Rosslyn and DC area. We walked around late at night with no fears at all. There is also free parking in the parking garage that is incredibly convenient. There are many restaurants and eateries in the Rosslyn area. The metro only takes a few minutes to get to DC and at $1.35 per trip it beats trying to find non-existent parking in DC. The hotel was very nice, offered free breakfast to priority club members (make sure to sign up in advance to your stay) and most of the staff were very courteous. I would recommend dealing with the afternoon/night staff if you have any questions. Overall, we were so happy with our stay that we asked to stay another night. The manager even let us keep the same rate which was less than half the cost for the additional night. We are already planning another trip to DC next year and there will not even be a question where we will be staying. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is great. Restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store all within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was excellent. (Join Priority Club with Holiday Inn -- its free -- before making reservations and breakfast buffet for cardholder is free.) Was a normal room but the price for D.C. made it nice. Bathroom is a bit small, but the room has an additional sink and mirror in the foyer of the room. The beds were ok, nothing to sing about. They are extrememly low to the floor, mattress is so-so, and pillows were very small (a size between travel and regular), but if you are tired from a day of sightseeing and don't have any major back issues, you won't pay as much attention to these things as you might normally would. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The restaurant is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the Potomac. If you are flying into D.C., be aware that this hotel does not have any shuttle service. You will have to take a taxi, pay for a shuttle bus, or ride the Metro which stops about 2 blocks from the hotel. The hotel is apprx. 2 miles from Reagan Internationl Airport. It may be a little more expensive to fly into Reagan, but well worth it -- much less hassle. I would definitely stay here again as our overall experience was positive.

The Hotel was average nothing bad and nothing outstanding. The location was great....real close to the Metro. The free parking was also great. The restaurant on the 17th floor is a handy feature but not that great of service or food. For the price when we were looking I don't think it can be beat. A must is a Metro card.

Location close to Metro was great! Very small cafe, not a lot of affordable dining in hotel.

Took Metro from Regan Airport direct to Rosslyn Metro which is an easy walking block from hotel. Arrived at 12:30 pm and checked right into our two rooms on 10th floor. Rooms clean, nothing fancy but very comfortable. Construction noise right next door started around 7 am so if you prefer to sleep in ask for room on river side or even numbered side of hall. Desk staff was very helpful and arranged trolley tour of the monuments (picked us up and dropped us back to hotel) for our first night which was wonderful way to view many monuments in short time. Only disappointment was we arrived at Vietnam and Korean memorials well after dark and they are not well lit. We also called desk to request additional decaf coffee for the in room coffee maker and the desk sent it up with 5 minutes. Restaurant menu limited for dinner but breakfast buffet was very good and free for Priority Members (desk said only 1 free but restaurant staff extended this courtesy to our entire family) . Would recommend this hotel as a good value

we were there on vacation. the hotel was average. it was clean and quiet just one block from the metro (which was great because that's how we got around dc). the cafe downstairs was very expensive. i do have to say the ladies that cleaned our room did an awesome job everyday and kept us stocked with towels. if i had to do it over again i would choose a hotel with a kitchen because it was very expensive eating out every meal.

The hotel's convenience to the Metro and the balcony were both very useful. The refrigerator did not work and I mentioned it to the front desk as I checked out. The woman did not address my statement at all. The hotel was in a perfect location for Metro traveling, and the staff other than the woman I dealt with at checkout, were very helpful and polite. She was also polite but I did not feel as if she cared that the refrigerator did not work and there was also no indication that she cared enough to note it, so it would be fixed for the next guest in that room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and also plan on staying there on future visits.

Least family friendly hotel we've ever stayed in. Restaurant hours listed in info guide not reliable. Kids menu listed in info guide no longer applicable. They stopped serving breakfast at 9:30 (for those traveling from the West Coast, where the time is 3 hours behind, this is difficult to understand). The only restaurant was overpriced and dinner was "fancy" food, like steak and lobster and service was horrible (we ordered food 3x for our kids and it never came). The coffee shop also had weird hours and served stale pastries. Closest restaurant was 3 blocks away and the Metro is also 3 blocks (in the freezing cold, with small kids this is a problem). No fridge in room. Pool did not have steps (just ladder) and was too deep for kids. Also, "heated pool" means barely tepid. One wall in our room was all glass, with sliding glass doors to a balcony. However, it was not insulated glass and we felt a constant cold breeze in our room. Also, because the glass is not double paned, noise was a major issue. The expressway is right next to the hotel and outside noises are easily heard. The last night of our stay a hotel employee was out shoveling ice and snow at 1AM! It last over an hour and was so loud, we all woke up and our kids didn't go back to sleep for hours. We complained repeatedly and were actually treated like we were the ones making their lives inconvenient. If it hadn't been our last night there, we would have found another hotel. Also, the bathrooms are miniature, have NO vents, and you can barely shut the door if you're helping your child. We will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Within walking distance of metro but construction behind hotel made the walk a little more difficult. Construction noise very loud. The gargage was great and we felt very safe. Being a prority club member was told would recieve breakfast each morning in restarant on 17th floor and was surprised to find out that it was for only one breakfast and additional breakfast would cost 14.99 each.
