Location near the Riverwalk was awesome! Ongoing construction near the hotel. Very friendly staff and hotel was very clean and well-kept. Pool and hot tub were excellent.

The hotel was clean. The restaurant service was poor. We went during spring break, and the hotel restaurant did not seem prepared for the number of guests who stayed. In the morning, the wait to be seated was about 20 minutes. Room service did not pick up. At dinner one night, the water was delivered, but no one came back to take our order. After 20 minutes, I had to find someone to take my order. Afterwards, my order was delivered promptly. The saving grace was that young children ate free. Also, the hotel restaurant was cheaper than restaurants on the Riverwalk. Despite the food service, it was nice to stay on the Riverwalk and within walking distance of many attractions.

THe trip was for our son's Airforce Graduation along with sight seeing in the area. Prior to the trip I called the hotel to confirm if we should rent a car or if there were any shuttles, taxi discounts ( for the amount of trips we would be taking back and forth to the Airforce base). I was assured that arrangements would be more affordable for us to use a taxi as the cost of parking a rentlcar would be in excess of what the taxi would cost, We were also assured that a "deal" would be made wih one of their "regular "taxi friends. As it turned out a rental woudl have save us over $300 , as the taxi rides that should have ran us $20 to $25 a trip were closer to $40 each way. THe staff gave us wrong directions to the USO and directed us on foot to an end of town that no one should be walking into. The balcony over looked the HVAC units on the lower roof which were so noisy not to mention a nasty sight. We had to call down to the front desk nightly to let them know the tv would either not turn on or off, and their anser was to un plug it. I would think it should have been replaced after the second call. The couple tables they had in the loby to eat off of were never clean, nor were the bathrooms in the lobby. THe staff at the front desk were inept to say the least. Our keys to the room quit working and we were put through such a drill to get another one. Bottom line I would not recommend this hotel whatsoever.

Good location. Staff! We arrived we were told we had king smoking room, we explained the request and we then only given double beds and basically told too bad! It would not have been so bad had the manager not told us she would be there and there would not be a problem.

A darn good hotel for the $$. On the riverwalk, but off the beat 'n path at bit. Nice and quiet at night. Very comfortable beds, hard to wake up in the morning. Definitely use again.

The hotel is right on the river walk about 3 blocks from the Alamo and the Rivercenter. There are other hotels right around it that are much hire priced. The parking service was 16$ to self park and 22$ to valet park per day, compared to other places you could do a lot worse. Staff was extremely helpful, also a nice continental breakfast buffet in the mornings. We used the hotel for a place to sleep at night, we really didn't spend too much time in it, and it served all our needs.

The hotel was wonderful and I will recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is located right on the Riverwalk with a beautiful view. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and well kept.

Rooms were neat, clean, and bed slept great. Restaurant was ok, could have used a better chef, and better advertisement. Lobby was well lit and spacious. Managers were courteous, and helpful. Under cover parking was welcomed. This motel is right on the riverwalk.

Hotel acces to main portion of riverwalk was blocked due to construction. No hot water on third day of stay. Major leak in hallway on fourth day. Guest parking garage was full on the weekend-- still charged 16 dollar parking fee. Six of ten reserved handicapped parking occupied by non-handicapped vehicles. Vehicles illegally parked in front of elevators. Had to take wheelchair bound wife down parking ramp to get to vehicle. There is no control in parking garage. Had to call maintenance to reprogram TV twice. Room service staff was excellent. Recieved best service at check-in. When I checked out and voiced my complaints, the only response I got was "sorry, can I help the next person in line?"

The bed was so comfortable. The room faced the river walk. Drunk couple next door to us fighting all night long. I did not get any sleep. It is just by far my favorite hotel in San Antonio!

I have one complaint - Obitz did not have a tab for smoking and non smoking roooms and we got a smoking room because I clicked on the king size beds. In many parts of the country there is NO SMOKING in any public building. I was not paying attention to the smoking or non smoking type, I was paying attention to the bed size. The hotel was clean and on the riverwalk which was a plus. When we were visiting there was a lot of construction and we could not enter the riverwalk from the hotel. It was noisy and the rooms were small with no refrigerator. The staff was friendly and professional.

Convenient to all shops and we could see the river walk from our room. It was GREAT! I can't say anything bad, it was a great experience. The hotel was great. All staff was great. We took the red eye so we were very tired. It was nice to get in our room and take a much needed nap.

This hotel is a great place to get away... It is a Holiday Inn and it is on the Riverwalk. It sits off the main channel, but very easy to navigate around the riverwalk. I loved the customer service, they greeted me with a smile and was always prepared. I will stay here again. The Director of Sales treated us well and we enjoyed the managers reception that evening. It was on the River Walk and it was quiet. The elevators were confusing for elderly people. Close to shopping and on the quiet end of the River Walk.

well on line they nevered mentioned that check in was at 4:00pm we arrived at 11:00am and had to wait till 5:00 pm to get in our room . Also when they mention river walk view which we did get they dont mention that were they are located it doesnt have much to look at you are not located were the restraunts are its just the river walk by it self. other that that the hotel was very clean and nice workers were very helpful to help you find what you needed. i would probably stay there again if i were to go back it was very easy to find the location. The only thing that they need to let people know is that their car garage does not just fit any ones car in there. We had to park at another garage because my trcuk was to high and to wide.

The location was perfect - right on the Riverwalk. Our stay here was really nice. The location is wonderful and the $20 extra for the view room was well worth it. The room was roomy, comfortable and clean and the bed was comfortable.
