Very nice location close to my nephews condo. We went to La Jolla & Del Mar beaches and Balboa Park. We ate out at so many different places, the best was Claim Jumper.

Location near by to every thing. They do not offer breakfast. It is good hotel but any time we buy from you they treat us different with people buy from them directly the Sam with our rental care they give the worse car in their lot in some case the care not turn on or a lot of damage drippy as well they treat us much different.

Great location, close to freeway. Just a short 15-20 min. drive to downtown San Diego. The staff was friendly and the pool was great. The breakfast buffet was hot, delicious and had a wide selection for even the pickiest eaters. My one and only complaint was the staff wasn't knowledgable about restaurants in the area.

Staff was very courteous and polite. They did great job. Hotel itself seemed old, outdated, and basically of a lower quality than expected from Holiday Inn.

They had a couch. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

It wasnt one of the best expieriences of my life. our room was not ready when we wanted to check in, we waited for 3 hours. The rooms were filthy, the bed sheets were gross! They were stained and smelled horrible! I would have slept on the floor, if the carpet wasnt black with stains. The beds where hard and itchy, they were so uncomfortable. The bathroom was small and dirty. The bathtub was black and it was plugged. and there werent any clean towels in the whole room. The breakfast was probably the best part. The cafeteria and lobby were one of the nicest places in the hotel. but dont let that fool you. Most of the staff was friendly, but then there was mean staff also. I would only stay here again if all the hotels elsewhere were full and i had no money. Which was the reason i stayed there in the first place.

Great location for visiting family in Rancho Bernardo area! Hotel is conveniently located off I-15. Appreciated minifridge and microwave in room. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, responded promptly to any of our concerns. Beds were on the firm side.

Convenient, traveled with 2 year old, microwave, fridge, free water, cable & internet, very clean. Noisy. Heard people walking upstairs, room faced parking lot/traffic. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived with my 2 year old grandchild. It's hard to take a 2 year old out and about, so the microwave and fridge were handy. I had packed an ice chest with lots of healthy snacks and it was great that I could back the car up to my room on the first floor and my car was just steps away from my room which I accessed from the slider door. But the trade off was the noise in the parking lot; it wasn't too bad though. Most of the noise came from above us; just a lot of footsteps. They offered complimentary water, Internet, cable. And even had a note on the bathroom counter that if you forgot your toiletries they would provide them to you at no charge. The convenience was great.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the hotel. The staff was friendly, and we had no hassles. Our room was suppose to be a King, but we got 2 Queen beds which was fine with us. Hot breakfast buffett is an added bonus and the restaurant next door, the Elephant Bar, is very good. Our room was nice but had some water damage on the ceiling. Also, the bathroom tile needed to be replaced. We would definitely stay here again. Hotel located about 25 miles from San Diego attractions."

The hotel is right by a busy freeway. People were yelling and screaming at the pool until after midnight. It was so loud that I could not sleep and ended up checking out and finding another hotel. The staff takes your i.d. and hands you a key - doesn't tell you where the room is, where to park, have a nice stay - nothing. The hotel is not very clean. This place may be a little less expensive than some other hotels, but IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE DISCOUNT!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, brought bags to my room, and necessities provided by hotel. There was not enough parking for the amount of people staying at the hotel. We had to park in guest parking. Pool was heated, which made it nice to swim in the evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free internet access was nice. All rooms have a sliding glass door. Bottom floor room doors led to parking, upstairs rooms all had a nice balcony.

From the moment we walked in everything was Great. The front desk staff were so nice. They gave us directions and were very helpful. The hotel is close to everything in San Diego. We went to Legoland, Wild Animal Park, Torrey Pines State Beach, Seaworld,Gaslamp. The hotel is close to the I-15. The free breakfast was the best surprise. We had eggs, bacon, assortment of cereals, breads and pastries. Friday morning we even had Japanese food. M-F they serve a Japanese brekfast with the American Fare. It was delicious. Kids swam in the pool every night. The price was great. Definately stay here!

I had a good two nights stay. I used the hotel as a base to attend three Cubs-Padres games. It is a 18 mile drive from the hotel to QualCom Stadium where you can park free and take the trolley to Petco park. The hotel was extremely quiet, which surprised me as it is near I-15. The weekend rates were reasonable and the staff was friendly. The convenient indoor parking structure for tower guests is a nice perk. The morning breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. There is a Starbucks within easy walking distance. I also found a Cocos Restaurant about a mile away that served an excellent breakfast. The room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable for me. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again if rates were comparable to this visit.

Stayed here on business, and while the rooms are standard Holiday Inn, the lobby and breakfast buffet are a cut above. Great breakfast and a great value. Service was great - they aimed to please. Will stay there again.

WE were there to visit family. We liked the hotel and the location. Rooms were nice.

The Jacuzzi wasn't scalding hot like some, many rooms had patio access & close parking. You had to go through the lobby to enter all rooms, even if car was parked next to patio. This was a pleasant, clean hotel. I liked the fact that I didn't hear neighbors or traffic noises. The room had a microwave, coffee maker, fridge and free internet, which made it very comfortable to stay. We had a patio with sliding glass door and were able to park right next to the room. This made it easy to carry our luggage in and out. They had a lovely Jacuzzi, too!

We were to stay 4 nights at the Holiday Inn Rancho Bernardo. We left after one night. The beds were very uncomfortable. We woke up in the middle of the night with back pain. After looking at the mattress, we saw that the box spring and the top mattress were almost identical. The mattress was made of metal coils that were hard and they got cold in the night. Another problem with the room was that the when we turned the heat on, it sounded like a jet engine. Also the tub didn't drain.

Convenient northeast county location and close to I-15. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained and fairly typical of Holiday Inn. The front desk employees were competent, efficient and friendly.

The Holiday Inn is a very comfortable, with a desk and nice comfortable chair, a good size room. The bed is quite comfortable to sleep on. They keep up with the cleaning. Nice big closest for you clothes, and the tv stand has drawers for some more clothes. Nice all the way around.
