Very cordial staff. Our room service breakfast was not delivered promptly and the staff member apologized and did not charge us for it. The breakfast was a delicious meal with generous portions.

Check in was a breeze and location was good. We did not have a choice of room. Great location, friendly staff. Very small bathroom, but overall OK. We would definitely stay there again.

I am a business traveler and stay at many hotels. This hotel is centrally located with clean rooms, courteous staff, and hot showers. The breakfast was good in the restaurant. I met clients for drinks in the hotel bar before going to the Plaza for dinner. I could have used the free shuttle to the Plaza but my clients drove me instead. I will stay here again!

I checked in June 8th immediatley when I arrived I told them their air conditioning was not working day1 never came to fix day two the electric went out I checked out early because there was no electric these guys charged me for an extra night. THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY. I spoke to a manager and he indicated he was concerned when I was checking out. They charged me an additional night because I had to cut my business trip short. The gentleman at the desk said I left my room a mess. I was checking out in the dark and could not see anything. DO NOT STAY THERE pay the extra money and stay somewhere else

The service was friendly but the room/hall looked a bit "seedy". The hall carpet didn't fit right and was bunched up in places and my room carpet had a big stain near the bathroom. The AC was also pretty noisy.

Location was great! Parking wasn't so hot. The hotel has a great location--just a short walk to the plaza area shopping and restaurants. Close to all kinds of nightlife. Our room was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue was the parking. I doubt there is really enough for a full hotel. This should change.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. The purpose of the trip was to visit a few sites in the Plaza--UMKC area and the hotel put us within a few blocks of the sites. The hotel staff was courteous, the room was clean, breakfasts were good, parking was free and the price was right. A satisfied traveler.

I attended a two day meeting in the Plaza district of Kansas City. This location was near numerous restaurants and bars. I feel this hotel was an excellent value for the money.

I would not stay at this hotel EVER. The bed was so hard, couldn't sleep the whole time. The staff stinks. The security stinks. My car was broken into, had windows smashed in, everything stolen out of the car. The staff just treated me like I didn't matter and was told this happens all the time!! I was parked right next to the entrance to the elevator!! They didn't offer to do anything or help with anything. I asked about insurance and was told they don't know how it would be handled. I got sick from the resturant food, the salad was rotten and spoiled. The chicken was not cooked through. It was run down and outdated in the hallways. The pool looked nice and clean.

This is a great hotel for the money at the Plaza. The front desk staff was very friendly and suggested a great restaurant for dinner, even giving us a coupon for a free appetizer. The location to the Plaza was good, just a short shuttle ride. The shuttle driver was also very friendly and timely. We didn't spend much time at the hotel itself, but it was a comfortable place to sleep. We plan on staying here again!

We discovered a bed bug during our stay and were therefore, unhappy with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful as they set us up at a very nice nearby hotel at no charge and I was very pleased with their willingness to take responsibility and deliver quality customer service.

Location. The entire facility, lobby restaurant, room was stuffy and way too hot. The Holiday Inn Plaza was a convenient location for our Plaza shopping trip. We walked to all the shops and restaurants which was great because there was no parking to be had. The hotel itself was clean. Parking was free. Staff was cordial. The big negative for us was the entire facility was so stuffy and hot. Temp controls in room were of no use even with the window open (14 degrees outside).

I thought the price I paid for this Holiday Inn relative to it's distance from the Plaza was great. The room and amenites were great.

Close to the Plaza. General uncleanliness. Unfriendly staff and difficult to park. Two level parking garage was suppose to be split between smaller cars and SUV/trucks. On the SUV level, I found no parking spaces but many smaller cars were there taking up spaces. My room was not very clean and certainly not modern. I won't be staying there again.
