Date of Stay:

Stayed here before and like it.
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Large well kept room andcomfortable beds. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was friendly, rooms were tidy and the bed was comfortable.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Overall, it was a good stay, but our bathroom had some problems. We noticed that it had an unpleasant smell from the first time we walked into it, and the smell never really went away. The first time we used the sink, brown to grayish-colored water came out, and then it cleared up after that. The facilities seemed nice, but we were only there overnight so we didn't get a good chance to check out much. Our room faced the atrium area, which we liked. The staff seemed very courteous, and the bed was very comfortable. Easy access to and from the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and if was not prepaid I would have left in the first few minutes. This hotel looked from the pictures to be very nice, but there was such a lack of detail to important features that travelers look for that it was amazing. The atrium area was super big, stuffy and musty smelling and the lights were so dim that we were actually scared to stay in this hotel as it felt like a ghost town. There was no bell man and we had to carry our bags up a set of stairs because the elevator would not reach the room. I had two kids and 3 huge bags to handle myself up the stairs.Second, the bed was super uncomfortable with really hard pillows. The room had new bedding and furniture, but the lamp shades were torn and raggaty looking. The tile in the bathroom was old and mildewy. If the hotel management/owners would: 1. cleanup the smelly atrium. 2. turn on the lights in the atrium. 3. put new lamps in the hotel rooms. 4. put a ramp so you don't have to carry your bags up a set of stairs. This would be a really nice hotel. 5. Update the bathroom tile/tub this would be a very nice upscale hotel that many people would love to stay at.

We were there for an event at the college and to do some shopping. Location was good for both. Excellent customer service.

Inside scenery was nice, it was quiet, clean, easy to find. Stairs were very hard on my knees, elevator only went half level, my knees still hurt. The hotel was attractive and comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Check-in was very easy and the front desk was very friendly. Our room was very clean and everything we expected. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels we have stayed in the last few years. We ate dinner in the bar area on Saturday night and the service and food were both very good.

The location of this hotel is close shops, resturants and freeway. The room was nice, but no microwave or safe. The pool was good, indoors but found many locals using it for birthday parties etc. so was crowded at times.

Hotel staff was nice. Construction rolls of carpet laying in the entry to room.

The hotel is under extensive renovation. The guest rooms were beautiful and spacious. We had originally wanted a suite but the hotel was full and there were none available. They did show us the one bedroom suite before it was rented. It is also huge, like a mini apartment. I will book that suite the next time we travel through Texas.I especially liked the King bed room with a sleeper sofa. The hotel has new carpet in the part of the garden atrium and the staff informed us of their plans for the entire hotel. We plan to return in November. I especially liked the indoor pool and was told they were remodeling the pool in the near future. All in all a great stay and I highly recommend it.

The dining room was closed due to remodeling. They seemed to be getting some kinks out of the place and we had to change rooms once. The manager on duty was very accommodating. Pool and sauna area was very nice as were the flower beds surrounding it. Obviously, a lot of landscape work had been put in. There was no breakfast as is the custom in many hotels. The location is right off the loop and convenient to any part of Lubbock within just a few minutes drive.

Was clean and comfortable. No ramps near stairs, made rolling luggage awkward on stairs. Very nice and staff was exceptionally helpful.

We stayed at the hotel due to the rating. We were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the facility. The inside of the hotel was musty smelling and there was a leak in the roof of our room due to the evening rain. The entire west wall plugs blew out due to an electrical short disabling the tv and lights. The staff was courtious and ofered us 10 off the next visit. There won't be a next visit. 2 stars at best.

This hotel was clean and well updated. I will be staying there again.

Coffee pot in room and very clean. No refrigerator in room. Spacious and decorated nicely. Swimming pool in is a huge covered common area apparently used for conventions and the like. This is a huge hotel.
Date of Stay:

we specified a non-smoking room and re-confirmed such on the day of arrival. however, upon arrival, without telling us, the desk clerk gave us a room stinking of smoke and with shower and commode for the handicapped. upon protesting we were told if we left for 45 minutes they would treat with an ionizer. when I said we would have to cancel and leave, the attendant found a cancellation and put us in a non-smoking room which was very nice and what we would have expected in the first place!
Date of Stay:

No food available for late arrival. Room was about a one star hotel

"The staff was exceptionally friendly. The atrium was awesome, as well as, the 9 ft deep indoor swimming pool"

There is no business center....they printed off my boarding pass...but I couldn't come behind the desk and check email....my room had a broken recliner....took two visits to the desk to get it replaced...
