very run down. water dripping from tub, wallpaper pealing off walls, dirty in general. not a place i would stay with my family. almost not nice enough for a football weekend. slow check in because staff continued to talk about their own business with customers standing in line. i will not stay here again unless there is nowhere else

I was in town for business, this was a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The airline lost my luggage and the front desk was very helpful in accommodating me. I will defiantly stay here the next time I am in Knoxville.

Room was not stocked properly with towles, and other stuff like shampoo and soap. Had to go to front desk dailey for enough towles. Upon check out at 4am I left my cell phone in room. When I called to have them check, they said they went to room and no phone was found. Next day we called housekeeping they said no phone reported, at that time. Later that same day phone was found by housekeeping. Manager of housekeeping said she would mail at our expense. The nex day called and she had not mailed phone. We called a friend in Knoxville to pick phone up at desk, informed hotel would be there at 6pm to pick up phone and had to wait another 20 min for phone to be brought to desk. Left me felling as if someone was going to steel my cell phone.

When we arrived in our room which was to be disable accessible, not bars in the tub to assist getting in and out of the tub but the worst part was someone had gotten sick in the sink and it was still there. We called room service and they sent someone up to look at it. He did and they did not send anyone back to clean it until first thing in the morning. We were looking so forward to our trip and it started out this bad. Then after they cleaned the room, we looked and looked for the remote and it was not there, we did not get new coffee in the room, no more cups (we used the ones the night before.) Then we had breakfast before leaving for the race and spent 20 for the worst breakfast buffet I have ever had. Cold eggs, grease soaked potatoes and burnt bacon. We had to stop at a McDonalds on the way to the race to get full. I won't choose a Holiday Inn again and we take 3 to 4 trips a year. The rest of the trip, I chose Comfort Inn or Super 8.

This hotel needs updating the rooms are old and just feel dirty. The elevator rug is ripping and dirty.

It was located right near Interstate 40W. The staff wasn't very pleasant when asking for a band aid. My experience with this hotel was just okay. They didn't go out of their way to meet my expectations as a traveler.

Where do I begin! The room had a strong moldy smell most probably caused by all the visible mold throughout the room. I was on the first floor, my brother on the 3rd floor experienced the same. I ate breakfast in the restaurant once and will never make that mistake again. I didn't say anything about waiting 20 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. Or about waiting so long for my order I almost got up and left, but when they brought the wrong breakfast I was more than a little annoyed. What I didn't know is that my sister and her husband had stopped in to eat there earlier that morning and actually got up and left because of the service. I made a 3 minute long distance call to New Jersey from my room, the charge was more than 8. After the first day, the maid only refilled the coffee in the room with decaf, no cream or sugar packets which was not as bad as her walking into the room while I was in it. (she knocked and before I could respond already used the key to enter) I will never stay in this hotel again!

The front desk staff was wonderful. The location is good, but there aren't many stores or restaurants nearby. Great place to stay for the money. Easy to find and the front desk staff was great - extremely friendly! Will definitely recommend to others!

The soda machine worked. Too many to list. This is not a 2 starmotel. It old dated and in a bad part of town. I slept in my car.

The location is great, but it's Knoxville-- everything's 10 minutes away, no matter where you stay. The bed was the most uncomfortable that I've ever slept on in my life. There wasn't a spot where a spring wasn't poking through.

Excellent, friendly overworked staff. If we were not premium Holiday Inn members we had to pay nearly twenty dolors for breakfast. The staff was courteous, efficient and friendly. However since the hotel seemed to be understaffed they had to do the work of two people. Our dinner was quite pleasant and the cook served a rare steak to perfection. What we did not like was the fact the hotel was under renovation and even though we paid a hundred dollars a night we were not given a complimentary breakfast as in many hotels unless we were premium members.

"Mattress = Miserable, Towels = None, Service = Clueless, Food = Barely Edible, TV Remote = Dead, AC = Dead, Bathtub = No Stopper, Bathroom Ceiling = Rusty, Cell Phone Coverage = Bad. This was probably a fine hotel for business travelers at one time. Now it is in desperate need of renovation. A couple more years and it will be 'vintage'. Now it is just sad and in NO WAY a 3 star. more like 1.5. Oh, and Room = Smelly."

During our stay it was very loud due to little leagues were having their final games. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Location. Construction. I stayed at this same hotel a few years ago and hated it. I was disappointed when I saw I had been given this hotel again. But this trip was much much better! Even though it is under construction, our room was very clean and fresh. We were also on an end of the building which was quiet as possible as the hotel is under construction. Would stay here again.
