I would suggest finding another hotel if you're planning to visit Melbourne. The room was not very clean, the staff not very helpful. An error on the front desk staff's part ended up costing me a great deal of stress and cash when they didn't book a shuttle as they said they had. There were also incorrect charges on my bill, so make sure you check it before you check out - I heard other people in line saying the same thing - that they'd been charged for minibar when they had not used the minibar.

This Holiday Inn on Flinders was located in a very accessible spot for many of the cities attractions including the Yarra riverfront. The room was very comfortable,clean and quiet. The staff was excellent also, we felt very welcomed there.

Right out off the airport onto a city bus dropped off downtown a few yards from the hotel. Great hotel people.

Excellent, modern, all the amenities, staff was outstanding, great location. Loved the hotel-would stay there again. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The location was excellent, hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel had all the amenities, I would stay there again.

Stayed on the property during Melbourne Hottest day with outside temperature scorching at around 48 degrees. Air cond in the room was not cool enough (perhaps still around 28 degrees), but at night was quite comfortable and cool enough. Room was average for a 3 star hotel, TV is still boxed old style - not LCD TV, thou there may be deluxe room upgrade. Bathroom was rather small and need some update. Shower over Bath - Tub was quite shallow with only 30 cm deep ( you cant enjoy bath). The curtain in the bath has got a damp smell - perhaps needs to be cleaned. Breakfast was just standard selection but of goof quality. No egg station or pancake station. Coffee was of instant taste, although they have got a modern coffee machine - self service. Overall.. Was quite happy with the stay. Just an average hotel with good facility and good location. Would have enjoyed more if the weather was more inviting.

Holiday Inn on Flinders st. exceeded all our expectations in terms of location close to many, many tourist attractions and bus and trolley car stations, shopping centers, and Casino. Room was spacious and clean and the hotel staff friendly and accomodating. We are definetly going to return.

Location. Noise. There was renovations going on at the hotel outside. I was told that there would be no noise except for 10am-5pm. The drilling started at 9:50 am. Very loud and impossible to sleep, we were on the top floor as well so the sound must have been louder on lower floors.

was a typical cheap hotel, i went to the toilet and there was half a toilet roll there. Crappy shower and tv but for the price you cant complain. Excellent location

Convenient location. Restaurant low quality and overpriced. Convenient city center location, breakfast much overpriced with poor quality over cooked food.
