Very easy and comfortable place to stay...First time customer at this hotel, very easy and comfortable to use will stay again next time in the City.

Fairly good location. The rooms were hot and you couldn't cool them down, also smell and sound of elevator entered room. In addition to the cooling not working, there was no soap and the towels, etc. were thin and worn.

Nice rooms - give the breakfast a missGood customer service. Well located and plenty of parking. Having a gym was useful but the equipment needs a service. Helpful night staff brought up a feather pillow. Room very clean and spacious. worth £80 but not the £140 they could charge for it. Overall a well appointed hotel. Evening meal very tasty if a little over priced. The drinks offers on a bottle of wine were really good deal. Breakfast was awful especially for the price. Waitress was sullen, had to ask for porridge twice and when it arrived it was like starting to set concrete. Not worth the £12 go to the sainburys across the road. Nice place but only if you get it cheaper than the list price.

Hoilday Inn NottinghamThe reception staff were freindly and accomodative. I actually turned at the hotel at 11.30 AM but they stilltried to check us in. Helped us to keep our bags in their office until the room was ready. The only problem I faced was that I didn't know that toiletteries were not provided in the room. Value for money room.

Holiday Inn NottinghamWe stayed Room only and arrived late. We were dealt with politely and efficiently by reception. The room was perfect for what we needed, just an overnight stay to be within easy reach of the University Campus the next morning.The rooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. There were extra pillows in the drawers and the linen was fresh and clean and the room was tastefully decorated. The booking through Laterooms was very good value as we had been quoted over £100 for the room from Holiday Inn direct.

A very nice hotel. Comfortable room, nice little gym and a huge breakfast. On the minus side the room was noisy and the room service overpriced (the hotel also made an error on the bill for room service). The small touches let it down eg two biscuits in the tea drawer for a room booked for a family of 3; only one large towel in the bathroom and no conditioner. A big plus were the excellent staff, particularly two young women, one who checked us in and the other who served breakfast.

Convenient locationI was travelling with a colleague who held a platinium priority club cardand who was very dissapointed that the normal bennifits associated with the card, free room upgrade, free internet access were not avaliable at this hotel.

The only fault I can find with the hotel is the cost of drinks in the bar. One expects to pay more in a hotel bar but i thought the prices were just too high.

This hotel is about a mile from Nottingham City Centre and has a good car park. The price was about right, but the breakfast was charged separately, and was rather poor value at Â£12-95.The room was well appointed, and the bathroom was also good , with an excellent shower.I stayed for 2 nights, and was leaving my room to check out, when I had a telephone call from reception, telling me in an impatient voice that it was 11-05 and I should have checked out by now. The receptionist was very curt when I arrived at the reception desk too. I stay in a lot of hotels on business, and found this unusual.I probably would stay here again, but I would go elsewhere for breakfast, and report the receptionist to the management if treated with rudeness a second time.

We could not have been more impressed with the whole stay. The staff were extremely friendly, the quality of the food was exceptional and the room was as we would expect. (the shower was brilliant!!)
