Upmarket HI overlooking Norwich City football groundA very well appointed luxury hotel. Excellent customer service and beautiful comfortable rooms ( some overlooking the football ground); lack of trays at the breakfast buffet service requires well-honed juggling skills to avoid multiple trips to the buffet bar.

Norwich City Holiday Inn - excellent!Super, clean hotel. Lots of space, no hassle having children with you either. Spacious room with 2 double beds. Lovely breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or re-book. Had requested a room overlooking the ground, but this wasn't given, which was a shame, but that's our only criticism.

Excellent very new well designed place,. A Holiday Inn franchised hotel.Convenient to the station and the city. 10 minutes walk or short taxi ride. Young enthusiastic team. Larger than usual rooms with all modern facilities. Well worth a little extra for the extra quality. Literally next to Norwich Football Ground, which no doubt can be busy on match days, but otherwise well back from the main road.

norwich april 09both my husband and i are football fans and was hoping that we may have had a view over carrow road - we were unlucky with this as we had the other side of the hotel. i think you need to request an even numbered room. we were also led to believe hotel restaurant overlooked the ground but actually looked over the car park which was disappointing. Breakfast was very nice however i thought evening meals were expensive and a bottle of wine was over £ 15.

A very good friendly newish hotelWe had an excellent time the hotel is well situated and the staff are very friendly, the accomadation was very good perhaps lacking a little in bathroom toileteries and local information in the room but apart from that we would highly recommend this hotel

Highly Recommend! This really is a fantastic hotel. All of the staff were excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable as you would expect with a relatively new build. The view from the room was fantastic. We did opt for a view of the football pitch and it was exactly that, if there was a match on we definitely wouldn't have needed tickets (Could see at least two thirds of the pitch and there are rooms with a better view than this!)We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. However we did use the room service for bottle of wine and it arrived within 5 minutes, with a tray charge of £4.50 which seems to be around the going rate.It is just a 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the town centre so you are within touching distance of everything you need!

Holiday Inn weekendWe used this for weekend as my son boards locally. Son is aged 12 and myself stayed. Hotel itself is v nice, modern etc and we were put in a very nice room with great view which my son thought was great. However for us there was nothing to do in the hotel which meant we had to go out to find things to do. It was very noisy in the middle of the night as people partying came back 3am and made so much noise I couldn't sleep. Maybe its not like that normally. I think it is good for business people staying over, for people with friends who want a night out in the city. More suitable for adults than kids but would stay again.

Holiday Inn Norwich City.Great value for money. As a family we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly to our 6 year old son and the breakfast had great variety and was good quality. The room was really nice and clean with all of the modcons you'd expect from a high quality hotel. Norwich city shops and restaurants were just a ten minute walk alway.

We cannot thank the hotel enough as they kindly upgraded us to a lovely room overlooking the football ground. Sadly there was no game on while we were there, but we really appreciated the gesture as we had come to visit new grandson. The room was excellent, as was the bathroom, with power shower, good lighting for those whose eye sight could be better. We ate at the bar once & in the restaurant and though not cheap, the food was a good standard. The service was professional & pleasant. A good all-round experience.

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel, the only bad points I'd say is that they'd only left one teabag in the room and some of the sweetner had congealed. Also despite the fact that room service is supposed to be 24hr they'd suspended it because it was New Years eve but they had plenty of staff working - how hard is it to make a sandwich?

The staff were very friendly and efficient and with the hotel being quite new, everything was spick and span. There were only two downsides, one was the lack of a useable plug in the bathroom and the other was the unexpected requirement to pay £5 a night for car parking, which was not something I have experienced with other Holiday Inns.

Breakfast was included but not very tasty at all. Overall experience means I'd still definitely stay again.

The staff were brilliant, eager to help in anyway they could. The location is good, a nice easy walk to Norwich Station. My room was very cosy, well appointed, modern and very clean. I had everything I needed for a quick buisness trip in town. Would definitely use again.
