Everything was great, other than housekeeping showing up way too early. If check out is not until 12:00 noon, there should not be knocking at 9:00 a.m. .

Nice hotel, but very difficult to get to. It should come with more precise directions. Staff was great. Kid freindly.

Efficient, one-night stay. Hotel seemed a bit expensive for ordinary accommodations, but perhaps location near busy office area allows them to charge more. Cost was $100 with taxes. Good value, but I would have preferred about $85 total. New mattress needed.

This hotel is one of the older Holiday Inns which has been completely renovated recently. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean, but have no in room refrigerator or microwave. Staff was helpful and courteous. We checked in for a long stay and then had to come back the following week for a short stay. As Priority Club members we were given two drink tickets on the first check in and a drink ticket and voucher for 2 free breakfasts on the second check in. This came in handy as there is no free continental breakfast. There is a restaurant which has a simple selection of food done well. They also have a sports bar. We traveled with our dog, who was welcomed here. Their 'dog' rooms are on the first floor and conveniently near doors. If you are not a sound sleeper do not get a room facing the pool on the weekends as this hotel specializes in weddings then and the noise from the bands late at night is very audible in the rooms facing the atrium. The business center was nice, but the printer was not hooked up to the computer I used. Good coffee there though.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I did enjoy the pool and the workout room. The hotel itself was clean. I thought the price of breakfast price was a bit high. The location was very in a nice area and convienent.

Overall not a good bargain. Room was clean, but bed felt like it was 10 years old. The towels were old, and felt like sandpaper. The only bathroom amenties were towels and shampoo. And after the first night it (the shampoo) was not replaced with a new one. Breakfast was not worth the cost for the buffet. A party in the "ballroom" felt like it took over that area of the hotel, making the bar inaccessbile. Parking was good. Pool was clean, except for the BIG cockroach that was on the pool deck (inside the hotel). The staff was not exactly the most friendly. And there is nothing in the area. I asked about a restaurant less than 2 miles away (a big place) and the staff had no idea. I stayed in another Austin hotel the first night off the plane, for 33% less money, and got a great deal, friendly staff, and a nice new room. And free breakfast.

I got an inside room and had to deal with the voices of people in the atrium and kids in the pool all day. Be sure to ask for a room that faces outside. GREAT bed/bedding!

Great indoor/outdoor pool but they are doing remodeling so we couldn't use the hot tub and pool didn't open until 10am. Great location on 183 and great breakfast buffet! Will definitely stay here again!

It's a beautiful hotel. The rooms are clean (I've stayed here 3 times), beds are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The view is quite nice. It's a nice quite neighborhood and not far from the heart of Austin, and very close to the Arboretum shopping area. One word of caution. It is kind of tricky to get here if you are coming from the east on 183 because it is on a frontage road near a complicated intersection.

Everything went great than we expect for but except the drink vending machine wasnt in stock when we want to buy. Also I only bought one bottle of water from room but they charged me twice for water bottle

Holiday Inn AUSTIN-NW PLAZA/ARBORETUM AREA, Austin, Texas was a great place to stay with very clean, quite, comfortable rooms. The option of the rooms being very bright or dark during the day and very dark at night for sleeping was great. The indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub & fitness room were wonderful. We did not use it but the option of room service was a neat option. The staff were very professional. The location was great due to it being close to MoPac, 183 & 360 I would definitely stay there again!

The room was nice for the money. The staff was great. The only problem i ran into was the restaurant was very under staffed for lunch. But they where very sorry for the wait and the staff was friendly

Located just off a major expressway, on the way to any and all major businesses and attractions, this quiet, friendly hotel was perfect. One had to look for it, as it is tucked away a bit, but after one phone call, it was simple to find. Not crowed, friendly staff, easy to get to the rooms. We would stay there again.

This Holiday Inn is nice and well-located, but there was some sort of prom or other celebration involving a great number of high schoolers or just older in the ballroom. Although the ballroom is beyond the atrium, the party involved a loud band and half the rooms face an atrium that would have been exposed to this noice until 1 AM. We immediately asked for an outside room and were finally accommodated, although the hotel was almost full. We got a handicap room, which was fine. The facilities were good.
