Nice hotel for the most part. The windows leaked really bad so we had to run the A/C non stop. Don't eat at the restaurant. Prices were too high a service was understaffed. There are places to eat in the area that are better. The pool was awesome. The location was great for us. To me it is the best place to stay at in the area.

Air conditioning worked well. Deceived by pictures and amenities on line of motel. Too hight priced, beds very uncomfortable.I have stayed in motels for a less price and much better rooms.

Great location for Worlds of Fun / Oceans of Fun. Restaurants close by.

The main reason that we booked this hotel was because of the shuttle service to Oceans of Fun. Each day we called for to be picked up before 6 p.m. and were told that the shuttle would be there at 6:10 p.m. unfortunately the first day it didn't arrive until 6:35 and the second day we actually decided to begin walking back to the hotel. Luckily, the hotel was about a mile away. Each day we called the to inquiry where the shuttle was and received rude reponses from the front desk. I do have to say that the rooms were very clean and it was a quiet place to stay. Just don't count on the shuttle or you might be carrying you kids back in 95 degree weather!

The staff at the hotel was wonderful, they bent over backwards to help in any way. However the room locks didn't work well, the room was not cleaned when I returned at midnight, spilled makeup on vanity from previous guest. Hotel basically shut down at 10, no free breakfast, no after 10 room service or bar, all shut down at ten. Several attempts to enter the room after lock was serviced were no good. They eventually got it fixed. Called shuttle to come pick us up at 9pm, it is only a 10 min drive, the shuttle didn't show up until 11:30pm. Kids were made to sit outside in the cold for 2 hours.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and more than helpful. The restaurants and shopping options in the area were not abundant. The hotel was great it out did our expectations in every way. The staff was helpful above and beyond, if I had a question or needed help with something they were there to help and seemed glad to do it. Our room was clean and the cleaning staff were there daily with fresh towels and sheets. Its a little crazy on weekends with family's on vacations to Worlds of fun, which is conveniently just down the block and the shuttle staff will drop you off right out front, but even with the rush the staff is calm and polite. I can't wait to go back it's definitely going to be my hotel of choice for Kansas City vacations.

The location is Awesome! So close to WOF and OOF. The staff was not overfriendly but nothing to really complain about. The pool area and restaurant were great. The rooms were a little outdated, and didn't look the cleanest when we arrived but they were busy trying to get people out and then checked in. We did have to call after staying 2 days to request more toilet paper- they didn't replenish things. Enjoyed our stay- would stay again if we get the same great rate. Book ahead of time. We went a head and paid the 10.00 to park at WOF so we could come and go as we pleased. There was a Waffle House right in front of the hotel so that was handy since we didn't know our way around.

I enjoyed the experience at this Hotel. I have stayed once before and will be staying again many times I am sure. The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna area is excellent. The bar and dining area is good but a little pricey but still good. I recommend this especially to families that need some space for everyone to relax without being confined to just a room. Especially in the cooler months. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Aside from a few kids running in the halls one night and the toilet running by itself every hour or so this is a nice hotel. Not like this the 1st time we stayed here. Still ok for the price we got.

The pool. Everything else. They tried to charge me for another night stay. The TV did not work. The fridge was leaking water. Staff were rude when I tried to straighten out the problems.

We have stayed here several times. This one started negative as our reserved adjoining rooms were not available ( we checked in at 11:00 to make sure of the room availability) BUT the desk employees worked very hard and were able to get our family of 8 the rooms we needed. The rooms are standard size. We had 2 queens in each room, with desk area that was great for the computer. ( free wireless internet ) The adjoining rooms gave us an adult room and a kids room. I highly recommend for a large group ( 2 bathrooms) The pool area was COLD, which was a suprise even for October. The temp outside was warmer than the pool. The pool area is supposed to be non-smoking, but hotel staff ignored smokers inside the pool area and in adjoining guest rooms. ( windows to the pool area open ) Transportation to and from WOF was convenient, especially if you didn't mind waiting on their schedule. Parking is 10.00, so well worth the wait. Overall, the hotel is nice. Lobby, hallways other common areas are clean. Game room is a great diversion, however expensive. We will continue to use this hotel when we come to KC for a family gathering. Thanks to all the helpful staff...

It was a nice hotel to stay at not the best but it works. We asked for extra pillows we did not get any so we bought some. We had a smoking room but their was no ashtray. Called down for more towels took them a 1/2 an hour to get them. Other than that is was a nice place to lay your head.

Location was convenient to the people we visited. Windows were drafty and they leaked. Overall the hotel was pleasant. The room was drafty and the window leaked. I would recommend it to another traveler.

The picture on the website is misleading. It is not the Holiday Inn. The motel is fine--nothing special. Pretty expensive for just a standard motel.

Great location. Close to casinos. Easy to find and close to major highways. The only negative was the heater came on every 10 min, ( in Dec.) and was noisy. Would stay there again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows.

The room most aspects were average. The key is its excellent location vis a vis Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. The van service to and from W of F and O of F was superb! The food service on the other hand was unacceptable. Minimal choices, did not have many iterms that were on the menu were out of stock. In the near neighborhood, the dining choices were limited to casinos and two fast food restaurants.

The Holiday Inn KANSAS CITY-NE-I-435 NORTH was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The hotel is located close to major Interstates, including I-435, I-29, I-35, and I-70, making it a breeze to roam Kansas City. The room was comfortable and very clean and the maid was very accomidating. The restaurant was nice and the staff very friendly but the breakfast buffet is a bit over priced for the food that is offered. Worlds of Fun and Oceans of fun are just across I-435. Also the Ameristar Riverboat Casino is just a couple minutes away.

We liked the pool and ping pong. Having our room on bottom floor closest to bar-loud at night. Overall, great hotel. We take our kids to KC once a year for Worlds of Fun Halloween Fest and will probably stay at this hotel from now on.

Extremely friendly staff and consistent in friendliness and helpfulness. Hotel is in great condition, except bathroom area which was good. If you are looking for a great hotel match for Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun trip-this is the hotel. Our suite included microwave and small refigerator and we utilized this feature to reduce costs of meals as the hotel is only .5 miles from the gates of Oceans of fun. Breakfast buffet-with having omelette cooked was good. Cost a little pricey of hotel and food, but worth it per location of the parks.
