Friendly and helpful staff; quiet room. Hard pillows. Terrific location, close to public transportation and many museums. Friendly staff and quiet, comfortable rooms.

A safe in the room would be very welcome.

My sister and I stayed here for a night while in Toronto for work & some shopping. The hotel staff was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. It's only a block to the subway and very convenient for shopping.

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The standards seem to be higher for a Holiday Inn in Canada!

Good location for whatI needed. Expensive for what you got.

The housekeeping is really shoddy. I found toenail clippings on the floor and hair in the bathroom. Beyond gross. One of the main entrances is off Bloor St. You do not need a key to access the building or the elevators, so anyone can walk right up to the guest floors without even having to talk to any staff member.

We had a very fun night in the Pub and had a great time in the hotel

It was very clean and in a great location. Their service was good and the rooms were very clean. Traveling as a college student, the hotel was located very close to a good shopping district, and great places to go at night.

If you want to see the best of Toronto, this hotel is close to all the great shopping and dining in York. Hotel is clean and staff is accomodating and friendly. Good Bar/Dining area and patio facing the street. $* a day for parking for guests is my only complaint, but that is pretty much the going rate in Toronto.

Location was great. Nothing. Good hotel with amazing location. Right in the heart of the college/young adult night life area. Many nightspots within walking distance. Very close to subway stop at st. george st. I would definitely stay here again. Great price too.

A great room even without considering the price. Room was clean and quiet at night. Queen beds in the double rooms would have been nice. Free wireless in the room. Be careful with phone. ALL calls (even 800) are charged for a local call. Management took off the charges (about $0.75 per call) when I pointed out that it wasn't noted with the written phone charges. The subway is right around the corner and will take you downtown. There is a 24 hr grocery store across the street. Would come back.

Friendly staff, good parking arrangement. Restaurant dingy, food far too late, cold and unappetizing. This was a good place to stay! The restaurant was exceptionally poor- and I'm not that fussy! The service is more geared to young beer drinkers who do not want a good, reasonably quick meal. They really need to address this, because otherwise, one would recommend this hotel to a casual traveler.

"Great price, great location, could use more closet space. Housekeeping and upkeep was top-notch. Had a lovely stay, no glitches. Definately will return."

Bed was comfortable. Location: too far from downtown Business District. Staff was fine and subway was close. Facility more like a 2.5 star versus other 3 stars I've stayed in. For my travels to Downtown Toronto, location was too far from the main Business District.

"I've stayed at quite a few Toronto hotels around this price and this one certainly proved to be the best. Free wireless internet, very clean and perfect location! "

Clerk at desk was very friendly and helpful. Fire alarm rang twice in one night and then the elevators did not work! The alarm went off on a previous trip! Would definitely not stay there again. The food and service is consistently poor in the restaurant. Cleanliness is an issue. The coffee shop is excellent but independently owned.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location was great - subway was just around the corner and it wasn't far from Yonge St. The rooms were small and it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. Overall the hotel is very clean and having the parking garage is convenient. It is great if you are planing on riding the subway - it's right around the corner. The rooms could have been more spacious and a mini fridge would have been nice. I would definitely stay there again.

"Easy self-parking with unlimited in-and-out was a big plus @ C$15.50/day. Location is several blocks west of the heart of the Bloor/Yonge shopping/entertainment area, but the TTC connection just around the corner makes getting anywhere downtown a snap. Our decent-sized room was very quiet."
