Beautiful andmodern room decor! The shower was either too hot or too cold. Great hotel! I appreciated the all-hours computer lab, central location, on-site parking garage, gift shop, and the ice cream stand in the lobby.

My friends and I went there for a bachelor party. We could barely find the hotel because it's facade was covered with a tarp for construction. The pics on the travel website reflect wha tit will look like not what it looked like when I arrived! There was dust everywhere in the lobby.. This is no good since the restaurant and bar are open and in the lobby! The beds were terrible! They were like a rock. I asked a manager about it and he said that they have to be that way because otherwise they would have to replace the mattresses too often.. WHAT?!?!? The pillows... I had 2 of them on my queen size rock of a bed. One of them felt like it was stuffed with towels, and it was flat. Next to the bed was a brochure that shows 4 types of pillows you can have upon request... Well I requested and got 2 more of the same; except that what is supposed to be a white pillow case was now yellow.. NICE!! The pool area... nice size pool, nice weight room.. too bad the construction dust and painters were everywhere.. The staff.. The only good thing about it.. XXX, the bellboy.. WOW! Full of info and very helpful! The 2 managers, not so much! I would pay a few extra and stay at a different place! BTW, there were signs that the construction would end in 2007...

The hotel charges you $18 per day for valet parking (that's all you can do or park on the street). The elevators took forever. Do not eat in the restaurant- the food tasted like it came in a can. With all that, it was a great location and the rooms were ok.

Cleanliness was poor and shower water not stable, scolding hot or very cold.

Had a great time, nothing you could want is outside of walking distance. Very friendly staff and an excellent Restaurant/Bar. Would go back alone for the friendly bar service and the happy hour specials are EXCELLENT.

This hotel is ideally situated for most of the attractions in Montreal and is very good value. The rooms are reasonably large and the restaurant serves a decent breakfast. Parking is expensive but very convenient.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Montreal-Midtown, Canada for 4 nights. We had two double beds that were very comfortable to sleep on. The room while not fancy was clean and neat. If you do not feel like going out for dinner. The hotel has a great restaurant in the lobby good food with reasonable price. We were able to walk to all points of interest from the hotel due to its great location. It is not a 5 star hotel but the great location makes up for it many times over. Every morning, we walked around the corner from Holiday Inn to a crepe restaurant for breakfast - delicious crepe is served fresh by a very friendly staff. My experience has been so memorable.

They initially gave me a filthy smoking room. Hotel gave me an old dilapidated smoking room with furniture that seemed from a third rate motel. The stated that they didn't have any non smoking room. After one day they finally caved and gave me a new non smoking room that had all new furniture, etc.

This hotel is well-appointed with lots of amenities, a decent restaurant/bar, and a very helpful staff. Since the building is a bit old, it can be a little noisy at times, but not to a point that I would recommend against a stay here.

the room was not so clean the doors in the bathroom make lots of noice and the front of the hotel was full of cigarrets buts it was very unclean i wish i never went to this hotel it was a terrible all the way

This hotel is old. The A/C as well as the vending machine does not work. If you receive choose the room that comes with breakfast, everyone in the room must eat at the same time. This did not work well for us because I had to eat breakfast early to go to a meeting while my wife wanted to eat in the late morning. The hotel staff is very nice (just like other people in Montreal).

The hotel was in a good location but the hot tub didnt work .Some of the hotels furnishings were kind of outdated for a Holiday Inn The room was suppose to have a refrigerator which it did not . Also you have to pay to park at the hotel which was $18.99 a night plus tip for the valet. The floor I was on was so noisy with college age boys in alot of rooms on the floor up all night making noise. Even during the day there were the same group of people yelling obsenities in the hallway . The noise continued till 4:30AM doors slamming, loud music, people in and out of the rooms yelling. The rooms are not sound proof at all. I doubt I wd stay here again

Arestaurant with a good breakfast at an excellent price. Staff was rude, and a room and its bathroom was old with a broken shower control and a leaking toilet. There is no way this hotel is a three star hotel. The hotel was old, but the real problem is they have not maintained its facility at all. Everything is broken and dirty. The hallway carpet was unbelievably filthy. The concierge was rude.

Location was pretty convenient and not far from downtown and metro. The bar and restaurant looked nice.

Location pretty close to vieux Montreal, close to Quarter Latin. Bathroom was very dark. Holiday Inn is being remodeled in the recent years. My room was still furnished with outdated but well conserved and polished. Linen quality was pretty remarkable. TV channels displayed a wide variety of options. It was a very good and pleasant stay.
