Wow, what a mess. They were doing renovations and didn't bother telling us in advance. What a noise throughout our stay. Never again, too many other hotels to choose from.

I made reservations through their 1-800 number for 3 KING size rooms and once we arrived and I presented my "confirmation numbers" we got to our rooms and ALL # were queen (if that) I went back to front desk and thats when he decides to inform me that there was a supposed leak the night before that effected the King rooms (convenient) So why not call the # I left at booking and INFORM ME??? Then I could have the option atleast!!!

The Inn on MacLeod was located in an area that was very central to meet our needs. The resturant was a bit of a disappointment. The room met our needs and was comfortable!

No heat in room, no pool available. I arrived at this hotel after being drenched on my motorcycle and freezing. My room did not have any heat available, the managers solution was to offer me a hot chocolate and an extra blanket. What I needed was a hot tub and a heater. Sorry, I won't be staying here again.

We were locked out of our room 6 times during the stay, including once where they delivered a replacement key to the swimming pool. My 4-year old had to use the washroom (and there are no washrooms at the swimming pool); we went back to the room to find out that one (of many) replacement keys didn't work - off to the lobby dripping wet we went. There is much more to this epic story, but I only have 300 words allowed in this review. Ultimately, I had to suggest to the front desk that we should change rooms. English was difficult for many of the staff, so they didn't understand my complaint. They did find us another room (no upgrade whatsoever), but I had to move my own luggage. We arrived at 5pm and were not settled into our room until 10pm that night. Our key even failed on the new room! No night manager was present to handle the situation. I don't fault the staff, I fault the management who did not properly equip their staff to deal with the situation. Also, I'm rating the "security" as terrible: at one point, since their key worked for our room while ours didn't, the maintenance staff solution to our problem was to give us a master key to the hotel!! This is absolutely true - it was given to us as a replacement key for our existing room, but I used it to get into our new room as well.

I was disappointed to find the hot tub not working. There was no restaurant in the hotel and none in the immediate area. The bus and Lrt. system was great. The complimentary breakfast was okay. The staff was helpful and polite. The rooms are very nice.

Getting out. Pool was empty, all wires and ducts were exposed.

While this hotel claims to offer non-smoking rooms, mine room had the unbearable stench of cigarette (and not just a an occational scent). A strong marijauna smell filled the hallway all 3 days that I was there. I was offered another room but it smelled even worse. For this reason alone, I will not stay here again. On the possitive side, the hotel is quite close to downtown. The wireless internet does not work in the rooms but they do provide a fast LAN network and the staff were also able to track down a longer cable so that I could work while on the couch. The astute mapquest user will notice a set opf train tracks next to the hotel. Make no mistake --this is an active line with trains passing by the hotel throughout the night. I am a heavy sleeper and I was awakened 3-4 times each night. There are probably more comfortable places to stay for the same price.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Quiet. Good location. Their pool is under construction and none of the information on line lets you know this. Big let down. Everything was great other than the fact that we had expected to be able to use the hotel swimming pool.

Visiting family we stayed at this hotel - we had great time. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We will be back!

Location, and nice staff. The pool and hot tub were out of order for my entire stay.

Hotel conformation was for non-smoking "King". When we arrived we found we were placed in a Queen. They were reluctant to honor the "King" reservation stating we already had a good price and all the rooms were the same. Finally we offered a "King", however it was on the smoking floor and the smell was overpowering. It seems that if you book on line, they want to do a bait and switch routine. I was disappointed in the service at the desk to resolve this situation. Would not return with so many newer facilities just minutes away.

Convenient location. Overall is good. One thing I'm not satisfied is that we want to use the pool but it was not open.

Very convenient location, close to downtown, malls, etc. Friendly staff. The hotel itself was a bit of a maze! We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient -- it is close to everything. The hotel was clean. My only complaint is that it had just changed from being a holiday inn. The signs on the hotel were all covered over and we spent at least a half hour driving up and down the road looking for it. It was 1:00 in the morning and we were very tired and frustrated. I think it would have been courteous if we had been advised of this.

The breakfast was decent. Was no longer associated with Holiday Inn; did not have any computer kiosk; staff not knowledgeable regarding area. Shortly before our arrival, the hotel's association with Holiday Inn ended, so it had no name or affiliation at the time of our stay. As you would expect, this change rippled through the hotel stay. It was serviceable for one night, but the lack of basic services (e.g., an Internet kiosk) and general dysfunction would prevent me from recommending it to others.

It was in a convenient location. The neighborhood is a bit gritty. This was a typical holiday inn, clean, friendly, nicely staffed. There were no surprises. It is a fair walk from the Chinook mall, and convenient to the c train transit system.

The pool! The check-in time was late in the afternoon (3:00). This hotel rocked, in a average sort of way!

They were friendly, clean and staff were always helpful. The food at the restaurant. The hotel presented nicely: it was clean, cozy, though slightly on the small side in the rooms. Every member of the staff I dealt with was friendly, helpful and seemed happy to represent their hotel well. I would stay with them again because they made me feel like a guest; not an inconvenience.

Clean, good facilities. Showers were cold, no newspaper in morning as promised, stuck us in far end of hotel even though the hotel was less than half full. Hotel is located fairly close to downtown, saddle dome, stampede grounds etc. It was clean and has good amenities for the business or leisure traveler. Showers were cold (lukewarm at best) and the newspaper they promised as part of their service was not delivered to us, however other people got theirs. When I complained to the front desk, I did get a short apology for the cold showers, but no attempt to make amends for the showers.

The staff is very friendly here. Nice large heated pool to enjoy. Comfortable beds. The stairs to get to the guest rooms. The location wasn't within walking distance to restaurants in cold weather. The staff members at this hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful. The public areas and room were very clean. The room itself was very small and crowded with a lot of furniture pieces. The seta bed was very comfortable and the choice of pillows was a nice option. The hotel's pool was large and heated. The restaurant food on site was average but what the food lacked, the servers made up for in personality and service. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Good value for the money.
