The room was okay, but needed to be updated. It smelled very strongly of windex when we came in, but it was masking another musty smell. At least the windows opened--one of the benefits of an older hotel.

Convenience to our destination. Service with problem in room (electricity to desk) was not addressed after 2 or 3 requests. We would definitely use this hotel again. Although we had little contact with employees it was satisfactory. The room was clean but we had repeated problems entering both the building and our room with the three sets of keys we had to get.

Upon arrival it looks like the hotel is old and dingy. Well it is old and in need of upgrades but believe it or not the room was better than we expected. We found our room to be large enough, clean, quiet, and a micro and fridge. The staff was pleasant and the room service for breakfast was very good. We thought the room rate was extremely high for what we got but overall we were pleased with our stay. Even with AAA or the Entertainment Card the rates were still high. I would definatly stay there again if the rates were lower.

Upon check-in, we found a spray of sludge in the tub and were given a new room. The front desk was helpful in moving us, but told us the tubs back up and acted like it was a fairly common occurrence. Sink drain in new room was extremely slow and the doors were pretty battered. The room was damp and musty. This is a hotel that needs some infrastructure upgrades. Breakfast buffet was pricey -- * for coffee. (I only wanted one cup, but they gave me a carafe, the buffet wasn't well-stocked and the servers were dour). The front desk neglected to get a credit card for incidentals at check-in and then pounded on my door in the morning, ignoring a "Do Not Disturb" sign, to ask me to correct that. They blamed a change travel website but the error was actually theirs. I remember a time when the Holiday Inn brand stood for consistent quality, but recent experiences in several locations suggests otherwise. The owners here clearly do not want to invest in upgrading this hotel. I'd pay a few bucks extra next time for reliable plumbing.

Nice location in PA. Did a lot of tourist traveling from crystal cave to Green dragon (huge outdoor flee market which is extremely close to hotel). Finally hit Hershey park and back to hotel. Very clean, big bathrooms and nice amenities such as extra chairs, AC/heater, small fridge, ice machine, reading lamp, alarm clock and TV with simple channel guide. Very quite place and relaxing. A gas station with a Turkey hill(7/11) less then half a block away which is very convenient.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. It did not have a movie option on TV. It was certainly a good. Everything was as it should be.

Great location for Green Dragon flea market, Lancaster area vacation. Enjoyed the Center For Special Children annual auction we learned about in the newspaper, Very friendly people . Plan to return. Looking over area for retirement!! Breakfast 5 off coupon only during week. Refrigerator & microwave a plus after purchasing Amish cheese ,etc. Price more than expected for rural area

I appreciated my stay at the Holiday Inn Lancaster County. I was on a business trip to the area. It was nice to easily find the Pennsylvania Turnpike and find my way back to the Harrisburg International Airport to make my way home. This hotel was a great resting place for me.

It looked new. We had a smoking room. They didn't seem to care and didn't apologize for not being able to accommodate us. It's an average hotel. The front desk staff is not bad but the two that were there when I checked in didn't have good people skills. The smoking room smelled bad, to no ones surprise. The building and the rooms were otherwise clean and in good shape. Our room had a 3' tall fridge which as a bonus. The sink backed up when the people in the room upstairs took shower.

We chose this hotel based on positive reviews and found it to be exactly as decribed. Our room was very clean and neat. We felt comfortable and it was nice to have a mini microwave and fridge. The staff were pleasant and the hotel was very quiet. We will definately return to this hotel again! Very satisfied with our experience!

The facility was old with gaps between the ceiling molding and the wall. The bathroom was so small that you could wash your hands while on the toilet! Claustrophobic! We had dinner at the Holiday Inn and it was not very good. The first morning,we left early (around 8:30)and were gone until around 2:30 in the afternoon, and when we got back, nobody had done up our room. No fresh towels, no bed made. I had to call to get them to show up. It was frustrating as we were tired and looking forward to a rest in our room, but left to allow them to work on it. The doors to the back of the Inn were left unlocked all the time, which didn't seem very security-conscious. All in all, I would never recommend this place or stay there again.

Friendly, location, cookies in the evening, computer use available. The older gentleman checking me in late at night was not very friendly; infect he snapped at me. I would recommend this hotel to families and business travelers. This was the second year we have stayed at this location and plan to stay there again next year.

I stayed at this property for three night event at Maple Grove racetrack. The location is great - about a 15 minute drive to the race track. We stayed at other Holidays Inn -- but this one is the cleaniest I have ever been at. The staff is great as well. We asked the front desk for a wire plug to hook up our computer -- and they were there in less then 2 minutes. The room service was quick as well. A little expensive -- though. We will certainly book this hotel again if we have another event at Maple Grove.

The employees were very helpful giving us directions of how to get the attractions and places of interest around town.

I was close to all of the amusement parks. What I didn't like about this hotel it was to far from everything we had to drive for miles to eat or shop. All and all this hotel was nice and clean. I just didn't like how far I had to go eat and shop.

If you stay at this hotel be sure to get a room away from the main road. Traffic noise can be heard all night. Very old hotel needs new beds. Roll away bed had springs sticking out. Staff was pleasant but incompetent....they couldn't use the computer...my credit card bill has many charges & credits for no reason. I should have spent a few more dollars & stayed at a nicer place.

Clean. Vent fan very loud on 2nd floor. Advised management of fan noise and he told me he couldn't hear it. Next AM desk clerk advice me it was not her fault. 4 other guest advised me of same noise.

Location. Cleanliness. Located very conveniently to the turnpike and interstate. Only a short drive to shopping and reading. Rooms are comfortable; I just wish they had queen size beds instead of doubles.

"This is our second stay in the past twelve months. Rooms were great, and we were pleased that we were able to get a king room that joined to a double bed room - great for the family. Staff very nice as always. Breakfast buffet could use some improvement, but was acceptable."

Quiet. Amenities closed due to construction. Older Holiday Inn being refurbished. Pool was not available. Restaurant in the hotel was acceptable.
