The price was excellent for an executive suite. I read the reviews in advance about the construction and we were on one of the top floors, and concequently we were in a quiet room. The bed was very comfortable, and clean. Location was not good at all if you don't rent a car. You are basically stuck in the room. Restaurant was overpriced and the only thing affordable was McDonald. Prior to checking out, we spoke to the manager over the phone (he wasn't in at the time until the afternoon) to see if we could get the same price deal on the same room a few weeks later. He promised he would review our booking when he would get in that day but said could not give me any guarantee. Never called back and we ended up later staying a week in another hotel.

Room had been renovated, but work ongoing. The hotel was a building site. The hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation, with many rooms and facilities impacted. Work and noise continues all day. The window in my room was covered in thick plastic, so effectively windowless. Hotels should not offer rooms while being completely transformed.

The hotel was under renovation and so very inconvenient for us. The room were very old with broken knobs etc. However they fixed for us after we complained.

I am a gold member priority club and this was awful. The hotel is under extensive construction. The air in the lobby is not breathable (the staff were wearing breathing protection). To avoid this mess, I called room service. Phone range for 30 minutes with no answer. I called out to have something delivered and was charged for the call. The view from the front of the hotel is the back of a parking garage and the back of a McDonalds. Now you know why it is so cheap to stay but it is still not worth the money. Pay more and stay somewhere you won't be breathing toxic air and hearing banging all day.

Great value and, surprise, good food. We stayed overnight between flights. Easy access from airport, free shuttle, free internet. Just what we needed. The most amazing surprise was in the restaurant: the best hamburger I have had in my life. Our objectives: easy access to airport, reasonable price, not hassles. We got it.

the hotel was under construction. no pool. no fitness center. there's nothing to do around the hotel. housekeeping walked in on me way too often and i never got a "do not disturb" sign. room service was decent... though they didn't bring me what i ordered.

I like the channel selection on the television.

Shuttle service to LAX is offered but takes at least 30 min to catch a shuttle at the airport. The staff at the desk helpful, but after getting off the elevator the hallways were dingy as well as the rooms. Wallpaper was torn in places and just needed a general upgrade. The lounge and dinning room was understaffed but food okay

Second room was clean; staff were helpful and polite. But this hotel is being renovated and the guests take the hit. The room decor looked thrown together with dark, gloomy colors, old carpets, mismatched furniture. The largest art in the room is a photograph of another Holiday Inn.

Plan on dropping another 12 for parking!! Not a pleasant surprise.Hotel in need of updating. Halls are dingy, poorly patched walls, old carpet.Bed was ok, but linens are of poor quality. I expect more for 100, sorry 112 dollars per night.Great access to LAX, but there are many other choices in the vicinity that may be better.

Everything was excellent. I would go there again.

Nice remodeled room - sensible decor not over the top. This hotel is currently being remodeled. Front desk staff were upfront about when to expect construction noise. We had a renovated room. The rooms were a complete renovation where all previous items were removed and replaced with new style. Very sensible. Good price/value combination.

We stayed at this hotel for one night prior to our cruise vacation. This hotel is seriously in need of a makeover. The carpets in the halls and room were dirty and smelled, so were the chairs in the room. It looked like the walls and ceilings hadn't been cleaned in years. I must say the bed was very comfortable, good location, and the free shuttle service to and from the airport was on time and the driver was very kind. Room service staff was great, the food was good, but expensive. After the cruise, we continued our vacation at a nearby hotel, we paid a little more.... but it was worth it.

The Holiday Inn was comfortable for the most part. I was expecting somewhat of a bigger room. It was clean, and quiet. I also liked that fact that there were fast food locations near by as well as a convenience store.

The housekeeper found my engagement ring and returned it to me after I checked out. The construction going on is really noisy, the air is bad, and there are some bugs on the 1st floor (none in the rooms as far as I know). Honest housekeeper made up for the inconvenience of the construction for me, but be prepared for some noise, some fumes, and no pool or fitness room.

1st Room was in fair condition, passable. The noise was bad, you could hear the cars, trucks, transport buses beeping as they backed up. I asked for another room they moved me down one floor, and right by the McDonalds. Bright and early in the morning a semi started delivering to McDonalds, banging and clanging. This room was even worse than the 1st. I also noticed in the morning, the patio type door was broken, the seal had a 3 inch gap at the top of the door. The hallways were in need of repair. I have seen better Knights Inns. I asked for a reduced rate, that thought was not even given time to breath, dead on arrival. The Holiday Inn(Nightmare Hotel) this was more of Sleep Less, Pay the high dollar. Only one word to say about this hotel (if you can call it a hotel) AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked how old the hotel was, no one knew or would say. I was told they were going to go through rennovation. I think demolishion would be a better thought. Good Luck if you are thinking of staying there. There was only one good thing about the No Sleep Inn, The staff in the bar was good and could mix a drink, Cheers!

holidaysin was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- it was really only one long block to Downtown Disney and there were restaurants very close.

Clean room & facilities. Under renovation. Almost perfect!

The Holiday Inn LAX got the job done. It was a typical downtown/airport hotel: a charge for parking and a charge for the computer in the business office. Staff got the job done but were less than cordial. Hotel was being renovated so the mess can be forgiven. The proximity to the airport was the big selling factor. That part worked out well.
