The Kearney Holiday Inn was so great. We had been traveling for 10 hrs and our kids were ready for a break. The room was gorgeous, with 2 kings, 2 bathrooms and a pull out sofa. It was two rooms in one with a Kings and pull out coach in one room and then through another doorway at the end of the room was the other King plus the extra bathroom. We had plenty of room for all our stuff. The bathrooms were very clean. The room included a small fridge as well as a desk area plus an extra bench for sitting or storing suitcases. The pool area with the waterslides were so much fun. My younger kids loved the kiddie area too. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was our favorite of many hotels we have stayed at, even places like the Mariott which costs twice as much.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, fun swimming area. The people next to us were very noisy until 1:00 am. I was extremely pleased with our stay. It was exactly what we wanted.

My sister lives in MN and everytime we travel to see her we stay here. We have 3 younger children and after 8-10 hours in the car they are ready for the pool. The pool is the main reason we stay here, but the overall hotel is nice also. It is a very busy place, but the front desk staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. It is nice to have a restraunt there so we do not have to find a place to eat. The food is excellent, wait staff very friendly, and not a long wait even with the place crowded with weddings and meetings. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfy. We will continue to stay here when we travel to MN.

I have stayed in this facility several times on business in the past. It is now being renovated and the remodeling is improving the facility. I was again there on business-- I don't use the amenities such as the pool or exercise room -- tho they look fine. The restaurant is being remodeled so I had to eat elsewhere -- not a problem for me in Kearney.

The water slides were fun. Expensive. My children had a great time at the little kids pool and slide.

On December 31, 2007, my son (age 20) contacted this hotel to see if there was a room available for that evening. He is a US Marine and is currently home on leave and wanted to spend a fun evening with his friends in a place where they could enjoy the pool, eat pizza and have a nice, non-alcoholic evening and not endanger themselves by traveling on the roads on a night famous for DUI deaths across this country. He was assured by a female clerk that yes, there was room. When he arrived at approximately 5:30 p.m., he was told by a male clerk at the front desk that he could not have the room and the person he had spoken with had left for the evening. This clerk also indicated to my son that he had to be 21 years of age in order to rent a room. As it states when booking a room online "I understand that by selecting this checkbox, I have read and accept the reservation terms & conditions stated on this page. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and at least as old as the minimum check-in age of the hotel at which I am making this reservation", through their corporate website. I am personally appauled that this happened. My son is young, yes, BUT he is also old enough to serve and protect this country and he should be shown the respect he has earned and deserves. My son and friends were able to find another hotel to stay at for the evening and enjoyed themselves hotel chain across the street. You can be assured that in the future I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Athe room wa big and very quiet even with a bridal reception down the hall. Great place for any reason.

Good value. Free coffee all day and free breakfast was nice. Building was a bit run down. There was no supervision on waterslide and some kids were unsafe. Good value. Do not expect 5 stars and you won't be disappointed. Was above average for an economical hotel and the kids loved the waterslide and indoor/outdoor pool.

I stayed here for 1 night on business. The restaraunt was closed, which was part of the main reason I chose to stay here. The front desk person was very friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. I would stay here again but look forward to the restaraunt being opened and new!

The Holiday Inn in Kearney was a very pleasant experience for the whole family. The waterslides and water play area was great for all ages. The in-hotel restaurant had a great buffet, while many other upscale restaraunts surrounded the hotel. The rooms had a mini fridge and microwave in them, which was perfect for families on the go, especially with a baby. There was plenty of parking, and it was right off the interstate.

The waterpark was fun for the kids. The condition of the bathroom was a little worn - I expected it to be in better shape, and cleaner. Based on the room alone, I wouldn't choose this hotel again. The room was small, and the bathroom, in particular was very small. However, the waterpark was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed that, so that salvaged it for me.

The motel location, service, and dining experience were excellent. The indoor aquatic center left a very bad impression. There was mold on the floor, there were big kids wrestling in the toddler pools, kids were climbing the waterslides while the pool attendants were present. The larger pool was to be closed to swimmers while the slides were in use (the first 40 minutes of each hour), but it was crowded with people even while the slides were up and running with participants landing in the water among the crowd. The only advantage of this motel over the others in town that had indoor/outdoor pools was the indoor waterpark. That said, I will stay at another location with a pool next time.

Clean and rooms were accommodating. We were there for a basketball journey and we were treated well. Other than being over charged and the manager not changing the rate when we asked, I would recommend staying.

We stopped enroute to CO from Chicago on a family vacation. Front desk staff was wonderful and responsive to all needs. Waterpark was excellent for a quick stay for the kids; not too busy with big kid and smaller kid attractions. Only complaint was lack of roll-aways for mid-size child.

Very nice and family friendly. It's undergoing remodeling, makes it look like it is closed. Very nice and family friendly. Large rooms with microwave, refer, and coffee maker.
