Convenient, clean. No internet access. Nice, clean, friendly hotel. Wouldn't' recommend for a business traveler who needs telecommunications or internet.

Room was great. Front desk was friendly. Had non-smoking king room in the newer building. Did have to carry bags to 2nd floor, no elevators. No free continental breakfast, and prices in restaurant were high. Two of us ate at McDonalds for the cost of one at restaurant. Overall the hotel is a little pricey, but with the location is to be expected.

Kayenta is in a remote location on the outskirts of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. We arrived early but were not able to get into our room till late afternoon. Around the outside of the hotel there were signs saying "Do not feed the animals". There are ownerless dogs that roam around the hotel which is the biggest one in the area (two others). In the room bathroom sink there was a bug and there were two more before we left. There is no cell phone reception, nor internet connection. A credit card call of 4 or 5 minutes was about * and I was charged twice as I was cut off. The phone company said they would rectify it. The room was adequate and the personnel friendly but it was definitely not worth the money.

Very comfortable, very good food very well located to visit the monument valley, very friendly staff in the afternoon. The morning staff was not only unfriendly but also rude and incorrect. The check in time was not convenient (too much late). I enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nevertheless I was not happy with the morning staff. When we arrived they spoke to us in a very rude way ( it was 1 pm and the check in was at 3 pm which was very inconvenient when you had a long trip to go from one park to another one and need to rest a little bit or need to put your luggage in your room.). Except that, everything was excellent, the location, the pool, the rooms, and the afternoon staff was very friendly and efficient.

Room comfort, cleanliness, excellent restaurant, good location. It is a little expensive.

Had an ok view of Monument Valley. It's set up like a motel, the restaurant was awful. I honestly do not like sounding like a negative nag, which is what I sometimes think about people who leave these types of reviews, however this was one of the worst places I have stayed at in a very long time. I read the reviews; it wasn't as bad as it sounded in the reviews. Basically there's not much other choice for hotels in the area and they take full advantage of that. It was dirty, noisy & kind-of smelled. The restaurant food was terrible and no one ever once asked us how our meal or our stay was. It had a view of monument valley that was pretty, and our son enjoyed the outside pool but that's about all the good I can say. Driving from Grand Canyon to the 4 corners, Kayenta was about the best place to stop for the night. It looked much newer and nicer.

Not much but staff tried to help with problems. Central vs. room AC and worked poorly, all doors stuck badly.

Close to Monument Valley National Monument. Because of a sewer line break we did not get the room we requested. The hotel was comfortable. The rooms are large. We did not get the type of room we had asked because of a sewer line break that was being worked on, but the staff gave us another type of room and evidently we were lucky because many customers that arrived later looked very upset at having to wait around, or at not getting a room at all. The location is close to Monument Valley, but not in the greatest area there were dogs running around on the loose (apparently wild) in the parking lot. Overall an okay place to stay for just one night.

Close to the Monument Valley. Facilities and room are quite old and worn. The rooms of this hotel are clearly there since the 70's, and have never had an update since. Rooms don't come with a fridge or microwave (as some Holiday Inn Expresses do offer), but Internet is free, and the restaurant serves up a decent, if somewhat overpriced, meal. The best thing is, of course, that it is a 20 minute drive from the magnificent Monument Valley.

Convenient to where I was going (Monument Valley). Dead cat carcass under tree in back parking lot. No joke. At first the desk manager claimed we didn't have a reservation but she found it after a bit of looking. Hotel and room were fairly clean but outdated, and hotel restaurant was closed for remodeling. This hotel was one of the nicest in an area that seems a little economically depressed so it was fine, but seemed a little expensive for what it was.

It was quiet. The food was not good. Quiet and clean and these are the two most important qualities. The food was poor. We discovered gouldings lodge at the monument valley which would have been a much nicer stay.

Convenient & clean. The place to stay if you are traveling around Monument Valley. Extremely easy to locate, friendly and strategically located. Less than 20 miles away monument Valley, across the road from BK & McDonald. Makes your trip easy!

Continental breakfast was better than the usual standard. I've stayed at many holiday inns before and this is the first one without an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Everything was at least satisfactory except the lack of an indoor pool or Jacuzzi to soak in after a long day of driving.

The gift shop and dining. I got a smoking room. The price for the room was high in price. I have gone to more nicer hotels for lesser price.

Friendly, helpful staff. Stray dogs in parking lot. Clean, pleasant and convenient, with super friendly staff. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Kayenta.

Close to monument valley. It was convenient. Nice gift shop. Power went out, rooms run down. No hot tub. A major disappointment for a holiday inn. Very expensive, for the poor quality. There are few choices in this location. Not a place where I would want to stay for long.
